Amazing experience. Steaks cooked to perfection. The bread before the meal was different than the last time I visited a Del Frisco’s and no one in my part could stop raving about it. I also highly recommend the Hazelnut Espresso Martini.

The food was great but the waiter was terrible. He barely checked on us and failed to remove our starter/appetizer dishes after we had finished and there was ample time for the table to be cleared before the main course came. We could see him in conversation with other staff.

We tried Houston Restaurant Week - for a good cause - at Del Frisco's. We were a little worried about the location but parking was at street level, in front of the restaurant, with huge windows that allowed us to see the parking lot - and there were plenty of valets to make the parking lot seem totally safe. We had a couple appetizers, and ordered some extras for the table. EVERYTHING tasted perfect as was just as we ordered. Philip our server paid close attention to the end.

Host was not friendly & table was not ready. Waited 15 min even though when we got there we were told they were just waiting for someone to take us to our table. Waiter was not attentive. Very slow. Seems like they have gotten very relaxed on the dress code for such a nice restaurant.

Del Frisco’s Went to Del Frisco’s during restaurant week on a Saturday night. They had been really hyped up by a relative ( NYC location) so we had to try it. Parking is available inside the mall/complex garage but you may have to drive around a bit to grab an open spot on a weekend, then navigating from there to the restaurant can be a challenge because there is no signage. Valet is available for $12. Upon entering the restaurant you immediately get that luxurious vibe because of the decor, especially the stairs and the large chandelier. We got seated on the 2nd floor kind of in the middle. I would have preferred a booth for our party of 4 for better sound control. The place was busy because of the Houston RW I’m assuming? Let’s get right to it! > Our service was not really that great! Okay, but not great. She was always not visible or just slower than the other tables. > The food was good…but not great! The steak was definitely the best part of the meal. Well seasoned and cooked as requested. I would have preferred more of a crust or char. The shrimp app was also good and filing. The meat ball app was also good but both apps were warm and not hot. The rolls definitely not a huge hit. They needed more time in the oven and more butter. The mashed potatoes were great but the green beans lacked heat and seasoning. Note, they don’t keep seasoning at the table. The deserts were good. We had the Pecan Cake and the Pomegranate Cheesecake. Overall the night was still a pleasant experience and I would definitely return during a restaurant week, but I would not pay the regular prices for extremely slow service ( we were there2.5 hours ) and food that was not hot throughout. They play a pretty good music list but you have to strain to hear it because of the speaker placement and low volume. Eddy V’s was a much better experience from the food, service and live entertainment perspective. The ambiance here is better.

Waiter made a weird comment to my husband when he tried to order appetizers for the table. The waiter assumed he was ordering for himself and questioned why he wasn’t letting the women order first. I didn’t appreciate that. Also, my drink was given to my husband and his drink was given to me, we didn’t notice at first so my husband mentioned his drink wasn’t correct, he reiterated his drink and the waiter came back with the same drink minus the garish. We realized it was a mix up but odd that the bartender/waiter would give the same drink (cocktail) back when he reiterated his order of straight bourbon.

My 6-oz steak was well done despite my ordering it medium. The 8-oz steak my son ordered was perfectly done (he also ordered it medium.) Because of the degree of doneness my steak was tough and tasteless...not what I expected

Amazing service and atmosphere. From the moment we walked in to leaving. Extremely professional and kind. The entire experience was perfect. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming. Charles our server was so nice and inviting. The manager came by to ask about our evening and wish my boyfriend a Happy Birthday. Definitely a memorable experience. We will definitely we back.

This is an amazing restaurant we tried the a variety of dishes: lobster bisque, dynamite shrimp, cauliflower steak, 8oz filet, lobster mac n cheese, strawberry hibiscus cheesecake, and chocolate moose. Favorite dishes were the dynamite shrimp, 8oz filet, and the strawberry hibiscus cheesecake Everything came like we ordered and timing was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had some great live music playing as well. Wine selection is great

We go to Del Frisco‘s most every year for our anniversary. This time we were overwhelmed with the personal customer service. There was an anniversary card waiting on our table, and the manager Taylor came by a couple of times to make sure we were being taken care of - which we were by Angie, our fun, energetic waitress. Taylor did his research about us before we arrived, and we were treated like VIPs. This EXCELLENT service is what keeps us coming back!!!

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was absolutely amazing! Our server was extremely nice, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The ambience, live music and food were great. The little touches from our waiter and management made us feel valued such as a special card and champagne. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this upscale restaurant. This one is definitely now at the top of the list. Thanks for helping to make our anniversary a special one!

The food was good. The atmosphere was nice. I was called the day of my reservations to confirm our table.I was told about the strict business casual dress code and advised to look it up on the companies web site. Which I did. Made a point to notify my family and we dressed accordingly. However, they did not make the other half of the restaurant customers follow this. They let them all in and were out of business dress code. I have always enjoyed this restaurant but will no longer be dining or recommending this to anyone. They have a double standard.

It pains me to write this honest review… But this is not the Del Frisco’s that I have loved and recommended to everyone for many years (our go to was Del Frisco’s on 1960 since the early 80s). And pre-COVID we enjoyed many client dinners at this Galleria location. Steaks were good, no longer exceptional. Lobster Mac and cheese had only trace amounts of lobster. Bread was covered in sugary icing, seemed more like desert than bread. The location is still beautiful but no real dress code. It felt more like Saltgrass than a higher end steakhouse.
