Although we've had excellent food at Del Frisco's over the past years, service at dinner has always been weak. The lunch service is noticeably better. Our experience last night however, was so appalling, that we will not be returning again. We had reservations and yet were seated in a booth directly in front of the door, making conversation or hearing the waitress impossible. The waitress was friendly but seemed inexperienced. Our appetizer arrived quickly but also before our drinks. And then we never saw our waitress again. We waited for 20 - 30 minutes; there were plenty of managers walking the floor and they stopped by early with a warm greeting. But we never spoke with anyone after that initial burst. We left cash on the table and left the restaurant to find a meal somewhere else.

Always a favorite place - but the music is simply too loud to have any type of conversation. We feel like we're yelling at each other and it ruins the fun of having lunch with friends.

Such a pleasant surprise! We gather for lunch with our widowed aunt once a month to catch up and to take her out for a special treat. The menu is excellent, offering healthy food choices. John, our server, brought us small tastes of the soup —since we couldn’t decide which to choose. The poblano and butternut squash bisque were both excellent! The Branzino was perfectly cooked on a bed of greens and grains. The penne with vodka sauce had a nice kick and the bowl was completely devoured. The burrata, wild mushroom, greens and grains was savory and delicious. One minor issue with a dish was resolved professionally and without question. Though there was music, it was in the background, and we could easily converse without raising our voices. Wonderful lunch! Thanks to all who made it happen! A true delight!

I only gave it a three for Overall because I was meeting someone at the restaurant for lunch, and they sat them somewhere else although the reservation was under my name and I had already been seated when he arrived. We finally figured out what happened, but lunch was essentially over by the time we met each other.

I come here once in a while, to have a drink at bar and some appetizer. I had 2 dinner occasions in here and unfortunately dinner experiences were not good at all. The meat was not cooked correct for 3person, the quality of the meats were not good as well, and the service was very slow. The waitress and the front desk was so kind and helpful.

Awful experience. The waitress so incompetent she was clearly wandering around the restaurant getting in the way of other servers. We had to ask for our drinks multiple times and finally went to the bar to get them ourselves. We told the manager and he proceeded to lecture her in front of us vs handling the issue in a professional manner. Won’t be going back any time soon.

Valentine's date night was a success. The lobby was hectic, but the seating was on point. The food took a while to be served, but still one of the BEST steaks I've had in the city. Del Frisco's definitely showed out in place of me providing a great night.

Disclaimer…this was Valentine’s Day so we expected it to be busy. However, it was slammed and they continued to take walk-ins even though they had a full slate of reservations. They took us to our table twice only to find the table occupied already. We ended up waiting 45min past our reservation time as we watched others who came after us getting seated. Once seated the waitress was nice but not particularly great. Kitchen was slow due to the crowd, steaks were under cooked but didn’t want to send back because of how long it took to get the food in the first place. Compared to other fine dining options in the area we wouldn’t go back.

We had such a great experience for an early Valentine’s Day date. The food was outstanding, steaks cooked perfectly and great quality. Austin was an outstanding waiter and we had great service from everyone we encountered. We will be back.

Disappointed in our experience at this restaurant… we were a party of 8 that arrived for our reservation at 11am. It wasn’t until 11:45 that we received our first drink. There was minimal occupancy inside the restaurant. No more than 10-12 people. The staff was overwhelming slow for any order, refill, receiving checks, etc. food was mediocre. Not special or anything extraordinary— same if not less than toasted yolk for brunch.

We went for a special occasion thinking del Frisco’s was a higher end steakhouse. I will say this is a more “casual” dining experience than their website touts. Dress code is not enforced what-so-ever and children are allowed to sit at the bar (meaning there is no reprieve from the occasional screaming kid). Our reservations were for 7:15 and we arrived a few minutes early. No tables were available so we sat at the bar and waited, which was well past our reservation time. The manager did, however, proactively comp our appetizer. Our server was clearly assigned too many tables, but in today’s environment that has become more common. She was delightful and very helpful. The food was mediocre for a steakhouse. My order was served warm (not hot) and the stacked potatoes we undercooked. Luckily we had order additional sides, which were more tasty than the main course. Dessert was clearly prepackaged/bulk and was not fresh. Overall, perhaps I had higher expectations of this place than I should have, but for a steakhouse it failed to meet expectations. With so many other steakhouses in the area, I would recommend you try them over Del Frisco’s.

Always a solid experience. Due to Valentine weekend crowd, there was a mishap with my entree (grossly undercooked salmon). But they responded quickly and attentively. And our server was terrific!

First time dining and it was an experience worth noting. Tori was a top notch server and did not disappoint with her recommendations for us from drinks to our entrees and then dessert to top off the night. Great ambiance not noisy so we were able to hear everyone at the table. The manager on duty was also an added touch checking on us to make sure everything was great for us and had a great conversation making us feel like lifelong friends who dine there everyday. We will definitely be back thanks to an all around experience!
