Delicious food,full of flavour though not overspiced....or overpriced!

We had reservation for 2 adults.
Not only did they not set a nice table aside for us,
they would only give us the table at the door where it was windy and cold.
Understandably, they didn’t want to give us a table for 4 but then as we were leaving, there were 2 tables of 4 with only 2 people at those tables.

Keep in mind that the restaurant was not full when we arrived and not full when we left.

I couldn’t tell you what happened in between because they stuck us in the basement. And yes we were the only customers stuck there for brunch on Sunday.

Do not order the tel Aviv breakfast which was marketed as their best seller. RIP off.

Servers were actually nice and efficient.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, although it is nicer upstairs (we were downstairs). We had a mixed experience overall. We had some really tasty cocktails which were presented nicely and the hummus and olives were good. The main issue was that everything is overpriced for portion size. The mains started at £17 and you still needed several side dishes to fill yourself up.

The quality was also mixed - the fish dishes were delicious but the meat dishes were a bit chewy and not the best quality. The sides such as pittas and potatoes were very expensive for the few that you got which isn't good in a restaurant where you are encouraged to share. The potatoes didn't have much flavour and were a let down. The cauliflower and okra fries, however, were delicious! So as you can see a very mixed experience, but we wouldn't go back.

Excellent brunch as always! Friendly service, great fresh food with a good variety. Excellent coffee & juice. Will be back!

Exceptional food, super friendly staff and very sweet with our 1 1/2 year old son.

The food was fresh and very tasty - our only criticism would be they should consider having a couple of choices of a vegan main course and the same for dessert. Expensive spirits - a double scotch was £18. Warm and welcoming staff.

Lovely place - great food and lovely ambience. I’d recommend to a friend.

We have been at Delaminates a number of times, and would normally rate it higher. This time the service was at
an ok level, we did order three main courses, but one was missing - leading to one of us needing to wait....

Staff were really lovely and accommodating! Great menu and the perfect place for lunch

Food is amazing and full of flavours, really different. Wine is a bit overpriced for the quality. I didn’t give a 5 star as the service was too rushed, all the food came when we were still drinking our Prosecco. All in all a great evening and will definitely go back!

Just wonderful. Children were well looked after and loved the food as much as the adults did. Will definitely come back.

The food is really nice, but our table was placed in the middle of the entrance, where shouldn't even be anything. So we have to keep leaning away from passing by customers and staff and hold onto things on our table.. I think that's not what you expect when you pre-booked, but perhaps as a good gesture for a desperate walk-in.
The girl who looked after our table had very bad energy and couldn't break a smile once, however the guy was very nice and friendly who brought our food.
Not my first time here and I love and highly recommend the food, but the place is too small for the demand and apart from 3-4 tables, none of them would be satisfactory to be seated at. Shame as it could be amazing!

Food was amazing and the food runner Sammy was lovely. He accidentally spilled some food on my friends cream jacket and the host lady apologised and offered to pay for the dry cleaning. He then tried to come over to apologise but she pushed him (quite forcefully) away from us. It was really disappointing to see staff treated this way and we made a point at the end to find him reassure him everything was fine!

The food was delicious ,original and presented in a very beautiful manner on the plate.
I was even brought a birthday candle on my dessert .
Even though it wasn't my birthday so I am really looking forward to see what I get on my dessert on my actual birthday.
We are definitely going back with friends and family .
The restaurant was recommended by one of our daughters and her husband so transcends the generations

Gorgeous food!

Excellent food. Every dish deliciously spiced or perfectly accented. We had eggplant starter, cauliflower veg, crispy potatoes (yum), koftas (could be a little more moist) and the tuna was outstanding. Definitely return again. Also wonderful that sparkling water is only £1 a litre. Thanks

We had a most enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, well cooked though the courgette starter was a little over seasoned. Atmosphere was relaxed and there was a nice vibe. We had a birthday girl and her treat at the end of the meal was a lovely surprise for her. Everyone working there was very pleasant. We would certainly visit again and try the other dishes!

Visited Delamina for third time this week - all good but the cauliflower was cold and had been cooked for some time - this was disappointing as it is one of the best options on the Meze list.

Great brunch away from hustle and bustle of oxford/bond st. Excellent food quality, good service and intimate ambiance and I love being at the windows looking out to the street while warm inside. Will come again for brunch as had dinner last time and brunch this time which was also good!

Food is absolutely great, but I felt the decor was very rustic - which is fine in general, but tables were too close

I booked a table but we were seated downstairs, not very nice, very noisy with the fans of the kitchen and the music. The writer very kindly tried to lower the fans but overall it was not nice. Upstairs is the place to be.

Great food, buzzy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We went at lunchtime and it was very busy. Starters were quick to arrive (jerusalem artichoke - delicious, roast cauliflower - surprisingly tasty and a middle-eastern pizza style plate - wonderful). Main courses took a lot longer, but when they eventually came, food was really good. My cousin had the poussin, and loved it. I had the shwarma - open rather than rolled, and a little spicy (which I love). All in all, great place for lunch, despite the slightly iffy service.

food was severely overcooked - it seemed everything was precooked and then heated apart from our cauliflower which should have been hot but was over cooked and stone cold - they took it back and brought it back hot 5 minutes later having shoved it back in their oven. A large cauliflower wasnt that large - I woudl actually say on the small to medium size and cost £14!!! The small salad mexe dishes were incredibly poor value at £3.5 each about 3 spoon fulls! GREEN SHAKSHUKA was totaly overcooked. Service was very slow - kept trying to catch the eye of the waitresses but they were busy chatting to one another.
The concept is nicebut not well enough executed. When they opened quality was much better though portions still too small- feel ripped off as quality and quantity of food doent match prices charges.

Sunday brunch was great, beautiful environment and staff were all friendly.

Very good food, different plates to share for veg. Service was slow at times and bit crowded.

We will definitely go back, next time in the area. really enjoyed Delamina!

Keep returning to Delamina as it’s perfect spot for la delicious lunch. Usually just order selection of starters to share, always leave room for dessert and don’t miss their exceptional take on cheesecake - amazing!

Fabulous tasty food, nice ambience, I recommend the tuna!

Food was excellent and the manager pleasant when I arrived. However, throughout the night the service got worse. Asked for water 3x, once to a gentleman server who went to the water station and helped himself to a glass of water himself and forgetting to get back to us. Also immigration police entered which was stranger still and perhaps this distracted the staff. I had guests from out of town and was embarrassed I took them to a place where service was so poor.

We enjoyed a delicious Israeli brunch at Delamina. The Jaffa plate with poached eggs, flatbread, and lots of delicious dipping pots was superb.

this was our second time at Delamina. we took our friends who had not been there. we all had a wonderful time at Delamina. the food was good as well as the service. they have very good choice for vegetarians.
Sammy and Mazda looked after us very well. thank you.
