Where the old school diner and modern cocktail bar meet, Deville Dinerbar is the gathering place to indulge in American-inspired comfort food in downtown Montreal.

It’s a story of three brothers celebrating their love of the past, whose fond memories of summer road trips with mom and dad was a foodie’s ultimate adventure. With stops to various diners all along the east coast, the boys were forever hooked on its exciting cuisine and knew they had to spread their gospel of diner love to the masses.

Years later they did just that. Deville Dinerbar isn't simply an homage to diners of yesterday but a creative outlet allowing the brothers to transform dishes and drinks for today's modern tastes and trendsetting sensibilities.

Every time I go to Deville's, I'm never let down. The atmosphere is great, the service is top-notch and the grub and drinks are very unique and delicious.

The service was great .There is a large variety of menu items plus custom cocktails ro chose from. I quad the cacophony Pepe pasta and my husband had a club sandwich. Both were great. The portions are generous . We ended with their apple,pie ala mode that consisted of two puffy pancake with apples encased surrounding two giant scoops of ice cream. It was delicious and a wonderful was to end our meal.

The service, ambience, and food are always top-notch! Don’t miss an opportunity to experience Deville DinerBar. My recent disappointment was that the years-long menu staple of the Chop Chop salad was removed. That was the best salad on the menu and one of very few vegetarian options. As a vegetarian, that salad was my main reason to bring others to Deville. While I will still go, it probably won’t be my first choice. Paying for a salad with a protein without taking the protein just doesn’t make sense, especially if those salads just aren’t as good. RIP Chop Chop Salad.

Our servers worked as hard as they could, but they were severely understaffed. We had an 8PM reservation and didn't get our food until after 10PM. Drinks took 30+ minutes to be delivered from the bar. I understand it was Grand Prix weekend, but I can't fathom why they continued to seat people when they were clearly so ill-equipped to serve them. At $500+ for dinner for a family of 4 (2 kids, no alcohol) I feel it was not unreasonable to expect MUCH better than we got.

Terrible waiter. Brought entrees we didn't order, which inflated the cost by over $100. Would never go back.

As always food was excellent in taste and very generous in portions. I would however comment n why they make only a serving of 3 tacos as an appetizer for couples- either do 2 or 4.

This was our second time at Deville within a month. That alone says a lot. Food is great! Super portions! The desserts our out of this world! Manon was our server and was very friendly. Super nice! The staff was very inviting and friendly. Thank you Deville.
