Je suis allée chez Diablos BBQ Cantina le jours des Ribs à volonté. Rien à redire concernant les plats ! La sauce est parfaite. Il faut commander une boisson pour avoir accès au menu et nous avions pu prendre les soft à volonté également.
Le service était un peu lent mais la personne était toute seule ce soir la.
Je recommande !
L’ambiance était tranquille puisque nous étions un dimanche après-midi pluvieux. La serveuse était sympathique. La nourriture était correct. Mais ce qui nous a le plus dérangé était la température de la nourriture... c’était très tiède. Peut-être nous lui donnerons une chance une autre fois!
My second time for dinner at this resto. The food is delicious and the hot sauce is very delicious!!
Yummy comfort food, as you’d expect. Dishes were filling and flavour full. I have been here before and I would go again.
We went to the restaurant for the ribs but when we arrive, we told us only one part on the menu is available and ribs weren’t part of it. We wait 1:30 hour to have our food, we had to ask for some water and the glasses. It was a disapointment in every level
We sat for 15 with mins before we had to proactively go up to a different server to come take our drink order and then 15 mins later, still no drinks or food order taken, we saw our server go take a food order from a group that arrived way after us. We then stood up and walked out. Terrible service. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
We went there with friends before a show at Place des Arts since it's fairly close. Food was quite good and service was excellent. They let us pay our bill quickly since we were cutting a little close to showtime. A little pricey but special house bloody Ceasar was fantastic!
For a BBQ resto, the fries and side of gravy was the best thing there unfortunately. They also made a mistake somehow and added pints of beer on our bill that nobody ordered.

Took my dad out for a birthday/Christmas dinner. My food got brought out almost 20 minutes before my dad got his food, half our order never came and the cocktails were underwhelming. I can understand being busy and understaffed, but it's unacceptable to bring out only half the table's food and keep the other guest waiting.
Here's why we gave up without having eaten anything after waiting for two and a half hours...
I get that our first visit was on Christmas. I was expecting slower service likely due to being understaffed and being one of the only restaurants open outside of Chinatown.
-we made a reservation and was seated rather quickly.
- we waited 20 minutes until we had to flag down someone just to take our drink order.
-we waited another 30 minutes just to get those drinks.
-60 minutes in, our 6 year old was hungry, we asked if they could bring a piece of bread.or anything to tide her over. They could not.
-1.5 hours in, my husband had to go to the dep to get our child a snack because her stomach hurt from hunger
- many tables had come, eaten and left in the two hours we had waited for our appetizer.
-2 hours in, we wanted to know if we were getting food, the manager checked the kitchen and said that it was coming right up...
-2.5 hours in, our appetizer finally came. It didn't have half the things described on the menu and the chicken wings were undercooked and juices were running pink.
- at that point we were finished with this place and decided to leave. The manager told us that the smoking process turns the chicken pink and that we should "look it up" we did and if anyone's curious the flesh can be pink, but not the juices or near close to the bone.
- we wished the customers beside us that had been waiting as long as us without any food either, "good luck" and left.
We were greeted by one of the partners of the restaurant, great guy! Gentleman was a chef from New Orleans, and worked for Emeril Lagasse leaving area after hurricane Katrina. Emeril left New Orleans after Katrina leaving many in the area out if work, and unemployed after a major catastrophe (the owner didn't tell us, but we knew). The owner of Diablo's returned to Montreal for personal reasons, and decided to open a BBQ place after being unable to find anything that he knew of from the South (nothing comparable to Southern style and flavour). This place is fantastic!!! We had a caesar drink with a baby pork bun on top, it was killer! BBQ ribs, chicken, and brisket were awesome too! Would highly recommend coming here. BBQ sauce, and flavours were sweet and spicy. Happy we had come early in day as I am sure we would not have been able to converse with one of the partners of Diablo. Cool decor, great music, and even better food. Our table of 4 want to return before we leave for Vancouver on the 28th...27th for lunch may be the only time. See this place being a great place to consume some great drinks!
My boyfriend and I were looking for a restaurant on a Saturday night. We decided to try it out. Ribs were good, chicken was good. Service was excellent and drinks were spot on! Loved the decor as well.

Le service tres lent car une seule personne servait tt le monde et les plats ont pris bcp de temps a etre faits.
Server was friendly but not quick to serve upon our arrival. Food order came fairly promptly. I had the Burger Diablos which was badly under cooked. Server was advised and plate was taken back to the kitchen. When plate was returned about 10 min later the meat patty had been replaced but the bun, cheese, etc were from the original order and now cold and soggy. The fries had not been reheated so were also now cold having been on the platter for 15 minutes. The meat patty was better but still not cooked throughout. The server did not check at all throughout the meal to see if everything was satisfactory. Upon receiving the bill I politely advised the server to let the kitchen know that the burger was still really not cooked satisfactorily and that the fries had been returned cold. Her response was that if I had told her sooner she would have taken the item off my bill. Interesting that she didn't offer to change my bill? Basically the service was sloppy and the food quality poor.
Great food - probably the best BBQ in Montreal! Will definitely go again! We ordered the combo platter and wow! Amazing.
Bbq was v tasty with lots of options. Ate on terrace with busy theatre district in Montreal.

Visited Diablos on the Saturday of the Grand Prix weekend. Reservation for 11 (6 adults/5 kids)@ 7:30PM. We arrived on time and we were the only people (pretty much) inside when we arrived. We waited (patiently) for over 2 hrs before we saw any food arrive! We were advised of an 'issue' in the kitchen?!?! I think the cooks left!? I witnessed a few guests simply get up and leave after their drinks. As I glanced around the place, I couldn't help but notice not a single table had food on it!?!?!?!?
There were only 2 girls and a 1 gent serving the whole inside and outside patio. Such a shame....the smell of the food (wherever it was hiding) was amazing so it was hard awaiting 2+ hrs for food with kids. I'm sure on any other weekend, this place ROCKS but they were ill-prepared for the F1 GP chaos that weekend.
Date night in Montreal . The food was great and tasteful . The Brisket / Macaroni were superb . Definitely a must have.

There was a mix up with our reservation of 15 and another group of 50, so they had to move us up an hour earlier, which was inconvenient considering we had 15 people to inform and make sure they could all make it. However, when we arrived they greeted us very well and apologized for the mistake, and gave us a bottle of wine on the house. We appreciated the gestures, and we enjoyed the night very much. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and everyone was full!
The food was good but not as good as we tasted at other "American BBQ" places. Most of the meat was to my taste a little bit too dry and not smoky enough. There is no option of sauces also. The cocktail where great. In general it is still a good experience but I have been to better place than this one.

I can honestly say that the meat from Diablos its one of or even the best I have ever had. Cool and creative bloody caesar. My waitress Vicky was a doll and very accomadating to my dates gluten allergy. To notch.
Amazing bbq! Still dreaming about the ribs! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for amazing food with an incredible atmosphere! The cocktails were just as good!
Pulled pork was too spicy for me but still delicious. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu!

Cons: Many menu items were not available. Seems like there was either poor management of inventory or the kitchen was understaffed. The restaurant had turn away people.
We waited an hour for the food. It was cold and the portions were tiny. Last time I ever eat there.
