   Service and food were excellent, however we were a little bit put off by the fact that we tipped 25% and were told by our server that the amount we left for a tip was not enough. Great experience but unfortunately this will have to be a one time affair for us.

   Steaks were all cooked exactly as requested. Food was nice and hot when arrived at table. Great appetizers, sides and deserts. Accommodated our gluten free person very well. Waiter was personable and intelligent. Relaxed, not rushed dining/service. Classic steakhouse atmosphere/decor. Easy to hold conversation at table. Overall, very pleasant evening.

   We were greeted by no less than five people between the door and our table. Ebony was our server, and she was awesome, attentive and efficient. My filet was quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. Great dinner.

   The A/C in the restaurant was out and floor fans were rolling next to our table, which was very annoying, not to mention very hot temperature in the restaurant. They should've called us and notified us prior to our reservation, so we can go to another restaurant. But unfortunately the management and owner were too greedy to pass on a 6 top reservation and let us sweat to death, while we were eating!! This is not right and I will never go back to this restaurant!!

   We come to New Orleans every few years to celebrate various special occasions and always look forward to dinner at Dickie Brennan's. This time did not disappoint. The drinks were superb, steaks and seafood top notch and waitstaff attentive as usual. We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday and enjoyed Siobhan's service and Anthony's bartending!

   The service was impeccable. Our waiter was sharp, funny and absolutely delightful. He’s a keeper. The food was amazing. My wife is a tough audience— she says it was the best filet she has ever had. So the kitchen deserves high praise as well. We look forward to our next visit.

    Steak was very over cooked. Our service was good at first then we went 30 minutes with no help even when I was trying to tell Someone our steak was very over cooked. At one time this was a great steak house. We learned that all the staff left a couple years back, explains a lot.

    The highlight of my meal was the asparagus.   I also ordered the petite fillet which was overcooked and had no flavor the  The truffle mac & cheese had no hint of truffle or bacon, so I think it’s kind of funny that they Call in truffle bacon mac & cheese. My partner had a total soup which was extremely overly tomato-based with very little turtle.  The barbecue shrimp were extremely overcook and had a mushy texture overall for the price it’s definitely not worth it to spend your time or money there and to cap off the very mediocre food. The service was horrible. We had a waiter who came to our table and literally scoffed at my partner, and laughed and walked away. When I told him to his behavior was inappropriate. He’s very begrudgingly said sorry and walked away.  My partner and I visit a lot of fine dining restaurants. We appreciate great service and good food and we always reward good service. This place is not a place that we will ever go to again and I would caution anyone who values good food, great service and just general respectable behavior not visit this place.

    We had a lovely early dinner at Brennans. The wedge salad was crisp and fresh. The steaks were delicious and cooked as requested. The chocolate mudslide cake was a creamy, smooth, but not too sweet chocolate mousse on a chocolate crumb crust. So good! Alayna was our lead waiter. She was excellent! Professional, attentive and treated us like family. The whole team was great! Very enjoyable dinner at a NOLA classic.

    Disappointing. Asked for a steak medium rare, it was rare. My son had shell with his oyster. A fine restaurant would have comped us dessert, they did nothing. We are lucky he didn’t break a tooth!

    I’m a city full of great dining experiences and options, Dickie Brennan’s rules the roost with respect to steak! Great service steeped in tradition complemented by exceptional appetizers and serious entrees. While NoLa is not one of my regular travel stops, I always make time for DBS when I’m in town.

    Filet well done, not medium. Spouse should have sent back. Fries soggy. Creme brulee so so. Why ice cream on it? Gumbo good. Service went from good to poor. Noice level in tiny room a nightmare. Twice have had wonderful chateaubriand here before., but won’t return.

    The food was delicious. My husband and I both had the petite filet, potatoes, au gratin, and asparagus. For our appetizers we had crab cake and escargot. Creme brulee to finish the evening. Our server Annie was amazing!

    Out of town dinner to celebrate my birthday. Early reservation. I was seated in the bar with a great view of the street. My server went out of her way to make sure everything was to my expectation. The steak was perfectly cooked and the BBQ shrimp “side” was delicious. The crème brûlée was a great last course. Overall, very high ratings. It was a wonderful time.
