   I haven’t been here in awhile. I was amazed by the lovely upgrades which brought warmth and a sense of comfort and style. But didn’t expect the elevated menu, tasting experience and overall vibe of DiMarios to be so improved. I will undoubtedly go more often as the experience was simply amazing! Bravo to the chef, kitchen staff and servers. First class experience. Kate

   This was our first visit since new management took over the restaurant. We always enjoyed the food and ambience at Di Mario's but last night's dinner was phenomenal. The menu seemed similar but there is definitely a whole new take on the dishes. Our server was Wendy who provided exceptional service. The new decor was stylish. We will be back soon.

   We were very disappointed that the owners have changed since our last visit... it used to be a family run business - - now it's been taken over for whatever reason by the owners of the Via Allegro restaurant in Etobicoke. Unfortunately the menu is much smaller, much more 'fancy' unlike the more down-to-earth, family style menu that we enjoyed and everything is MUCH more expensive. We don't plan on going back anytime soon.

   We're in town for a few days so we went two nights in a row. My wife chose the same dishes they were so delicious (caesar salad and a shrimp starter) !!! And I'm here for a running road race so I chose pasta (carboloading) and both of my choices were delicious as well.....Note that there are two rooms and the larger room you enter from the street can get pretty boisterous because everyone is having a great time. So the back room is a bit quieter for a normal conversation. We'll definitely come back whenever we're in Burlington !!

    Had a lovely dinner with my husband, the calamari appetizer was delicious! The bolognese was great and the chicken piccata, again, very good! Server was very nice and friendly, it’s not an easy job, so never expect perfection because that is rare. Definitely recommend this place, the only suggestion to the team, is to make sure things on the table are dusted and glasses and tableware clean.

    Our time at DiMario’s was excellent! The servers were attentive, the food was exquisite, and the atmosphere is elegant and romantic. It is fine dining at its best. We were celebrating an anniversary and the champagne they brought to us was a lovely surprise! We highly recommend DiMario’s for your celebratory occasion.

    Absolutely xcellent service but a bit pricey for pasta. Noisier since the renos. Will book the private area next time. Love this place.

    I did take the time to write a review last night, right after I got home. The noise level was horrific. My pasta sauce tasted greasy so I left it to settle. By the time everyone else had finished their meals the grease had risen and there was half an inch floating on top of the tomato sauce. I pointed this out to our waiter as he collected our plates. He discreetly said I can take care of that. What did that mean?? I direct messaged the restaurant & have not heard back.

    The food was absolutely delicious. Better than most of the restaurants we've been to in Burlington. The decor is very nice, the only negative about the ambiance is that it seemed quite noisy and there is no where to sit of you arrive early. The female server was above and beyond friendly.

    Excellent service and attention from the time we walked in the door. Delicious food. Our waitress was very helpful in helping us select our entrees. Our table by the door was cold and draughty so I would be more specific next time. Also the restaurant is very noisy when full. Excellent choice for dinner before the theatre and so close.

    It was my first time going to this restaurant; the location is excellent and it made the restaurant really easy to find. The ambience was nice. The moment you come through the doors you're greeted by a friendly hostess. The food was good for the value.

    DiMario’s has upscale the ambience and the new menu was interesting, although the prices have gone up…but they are up everywhere, so not out of the norm for that quality. Overall, food and service were excellent!

    Had a wonderful dinner here before going to a show across the street at BPAC. I had not been to Di Mario's for several years. Love the beautiful updated decor and the new menu! Service was excellent as were our meals. We will definitely return very soon!

    The place where I celebrated my first birthday in Canada, many years ago. The place where I took my mom for another birthday celebration. Best decision ever. The waitress who welcomed us was very nice, sweet and professional; the waiter who switched shift with her was nice, funny and at the same time very professional. From the starter to the main dish, food was delicious , My mom and I LOVED it.

    Better coordination in FOH is needed here. We were provided a cocktail menu by one host, but no one came back to take our drink order. Instead we were asked by someone else for our wine order, which we provided, thinking we'd still be able to place a drinks order, but that never happened. When the wine arrived, it was a different bottle than we ordered. The reason given was that they can't guarantee what the supplier provides and that since it's an older bottle, it's "better". Generally, the service is disorganized, although very pleasant staff. Appetizers were very good, mains not so much. Agnolotti was too al dente and overly flavored with lemon, also a very small portion. Short ribs were bland and lack acid balance. This was our first time to this Burlington mainstay and we were looking forward to finally experiencing what has been on our list for some time. Sad to say we won't be back.

    We had a wonderful time celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday. Love the updated look of the restaurant but do miss the older decor. Menu was different too but did not disappoint. Would go back again and again.

    We loved this place - the food and service were excellent. I had the seafood pasta and it was delicious. The molten chocolate cake was warm and standout for sure. Will be back for sure.

    We were very disappointed. We have been dining at DiMarios for many years and knew there were new owners. The decor is good but it ends there. My husband had a veal steak - overcooked and no side. Fir $49 you think you would get a side. When he ordered the waiter asked if he would like a half order of pasta. When pasta arrived there were literally 15 pieces of pasta and we were charged $15. Now my husbands dinner was $64 - way too much money. Also we arrived at 5:45 and told the waiter we were going to the theatre but did not want to be rushed. I also told him it was my birthday. At 7:10 we still did not have our main and he said it would be out shortly. We got our dinner at 7:20 and felt rushed to finish - no time for coffee or dessert. I had to ask the waiter several times for the cheque so we wouldn’t be late for the theatre. Also wines extremely overpriced. Very disappointed - will not be back.

    Wonderful renovation, good food, attentive service but not pretentious. Almost 300.00 (including tax and tip) for dinner for two, so not inexpensive … have spent as much at places that weren’t as nice. So, worth it for a nice treat with someone you love, family, friends, etc.

    We were not rushed, but given lots of time to chat and catch up with friends we had not seen in over a year. Wait staff were helpful with menu choices. The food was excellent, so much so that the four of us started to share so no one would miss out on how good all of the dishes were. We had an absolutley delightful time and were out the door in time for the show across the street at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre.

    The server was wonderful in explaining the menu and helped in suggesting what we would probably like and the amount of food we were ordering. Service was prompt. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals they were delicious. The ambiance had the feel of a small intimate place.

    Feb.14/23 Lunch 12:30 You're in for a treat when you pick Di Mario's Tratorria. From what we know, there is a new chef, new menu & new extensive wine list (7 pages). Right from entering, you are greeted by people who treat you like good friends. The decor & ambience is very enticing & welcoming. The food is beyond excellent! It is a dream for the pallet. We purposely chose different starters, mains & desserts to share & get a chance to taste many dishes & were not disappointed by any of our choices. The Prosecco was icy & crisp & the Valpolechelo red, smooth & delicious. The Wine steward was very knowledgable & willingly guided us to a red that was in our price range & let us share a 6 oz glass for lunch. That is class! Our waitress was so sweet & calm...very professional. We are already choosing Di Mario's for our 50th Wedding Anniversary in September of this year. Go & treat yourself. You will never regret this!
