   I was looking forward to this dinner, I have heard amazing things about restaurant! My server was not very nice, I don’t think it was personal but rather seemed like we were bothering her with any request, we waited so long for the entree, by the time it made it to our table my duck was completely cold. I was very disappointed

   Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow. It is a bit noisy and my mom is hard of hearing but they were gracious to seat us in a corner so she could hear better.

   Very relaxing, sophisticated atmosphere. Plenty of staff. Never felt rushed and were able to take time to enjoy our experience. The food was exceptional. MUST have dessert when you go.

    The food was good but way too spicy. Portions were small. $18.00 for 5 rolls with butter was pricey. Not much choice on the menu. Servers were very nice and efficient. Overall very expensive and not good value for the dollar.

    Dish is one of our favorite restaurants but last night was apparently an off night. The appetizer was the best part of the meal. Our Entree's came out a full 30 minutes after they took away our appetizer dishes and they were just luke warm. Not our normal experience here. Flavor and technical prep were good, as usual but there wasn't the normal attention to detail, timing, etc. Both of the owners were not at the restaurant that evening.

    Smaller menu makes deciding easier, and with recommendations from our server we ended up with multiple delicious dishes. Was an excellent dining experience and would recommend for those seeking unique selections.

    What a treat. I made reservations without knowing DISH. The food and drinks were so unusual (in a good way). Each dish had layers to it - wonderful flavoring. Thank you. Will definitely go again.

    Definitely a culinary best in Lincoln. Small menu options, as preparation of each dish is so unique. Sophia was well educated on menu recommendations. Loved the beets appetizer and salmon dish was also amazing. The hostess was also educated on wine pairings and recommended what was best with our meals. Loved every bite!

    Each item on the very small menu is carefully prepared and imaginative. The small plates are perfect for sharing but also could be a light meal. Although I enjoyed all of the dishes, the spice level was too high for my companions. The server was attentive but might have spent more time on describing the menu. Also, I felt rushed throughout the meal.

    We are never let down by a night at Dish. Our server Cece was amazing and pinpointed the perfect cocktails for me and the food is absolutely amazing and always innovative. We are so lucky to have Dish in Lincoln!

    What can one say about Dish that hasn't already been said? It is outstanding. There's nothing in Lincoln that even compares. You'd have to go to New York City to find anything that would compare and that would be a LOT more expensive. It's not for nothing the Dish was nominated for a James Beard award. I've lived in Lincoln since 1961 and Dish is hands down the best restaurant the city has ever seen. Chef Rachel McGill knocks it out of the park, night after night, with an ever-changing menu.

    We had a fantastic time at Dish! We enjoyed some drinks, delicious appetizers of salmon tartar and roasted cauliflower, strip loin, and ramen for dinner, and chocolate torte and pot de creme to go for the next day. I love the menu rotation and seeing all the new creations the team has created. Cauliflower and white chocolate?! The combination was amazing! We especially loved the salmon tartar with the salty and sweet taro chips.

    I love DISH and it is often our first choice for a dinner out. I have been here three times in the last three months and unfortunately each of the three times many of our selections have been incredibly over salted. I don't ever remember this in the past and it's a bummer for sure. Of course we will keep visiting, but I'm hoping this isn't something that continues.

    It's always a pleasure to dine at DISH and we always look forward to every meal there. EVERYTHING at DISH is done lovingly, with care – from the greeting on arrival to the expert table service to the imaginative and carefully prepared and plated menu items, to the ambiance, always conducive to good conversation.     I would have never considered those flavor pairings, but they were actually excellent. Very nice server who appeared to know what she was bringing. Very nice change of pace. Also loved the “smoke & mirrors”. I will 1000% be back.

    The cocktails and menu were incredible. It was the perfect place to go before a show at the Lied Center. We split 2 apps and 1 entrée between the two of us, but were not able to finish the appetizers. The portion sizes were fairly large for this caliber of restaurant which was great to see! Would definitely recommend DISH for a night out in Lincoln!

    A friend and I went to Dish to celebrate our shared birthdays and were absolutely delighted with the creative and unique offerings. I had the best cocktail I’d ever had called “un-bay-lievable.” Then we sampled from the appetizer menu and each was beautiful and scrumptious. Dish will be my go-to for the most special occasions from now on. We’re lucky to have a restaurant of such high quality in Lincoln!
