   Excellent service. Food was very good. Reasonably priced. Ambience was present. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Recommend for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. A good place to go for food and relaxing.

   Distilled was close to our hotel, which was a plus. Table and chairs were comfortable and encouraged relaxed dining. Nice variety of cocktails and wines. Good selection of different dishes. We all loved the she-crab soup, it was delicious and unlike in other restaurants, there was a nice amount of crabmeat in the soup. Our food arrived promptly, but not hurriedly, was attractively served and was hot/cold as expected. We all enjoyed our dinner choices. since I had picked Distilled out of a list of restaurants on the internet, I was pleased to see their web page did not overstate their offerings - it was certainly a lucky pick for us, we loved it!

   I made reservations for my wife and mother in law to enjoy brunch together for Mother’s Day. This was not their first time dining at Distilled but it was a first at the new location. The drinks were great. Bottomless Mimosa’s are always a plus. The She Crab soup was amazing. The steak fillet was perfect and the chocolate torte was delicious. This was a limited choice menu made especially for the occasion and you couldn’t go wrong with any choice. Let me just add that the service was excellent. A lovely Mother’s Day brunch.

    Nestled inside a beautiful, old structure walking distance from Rupp Arena. We were greeted with a smile, service was excellent and informative, and the food outstanding. We went for brunch on a Saturday and ate inside, but there is a great patio, not to miss.

    Beef carpaccio appetizer was well seasoned and delicious. Salmon with crab Oscar topping ( a special) was fabulous -- lump crab meat atop a well-seasoned piece of salmon, all on bed of vegetables. SO good! Cocktails were great. Server Patrick was knowledgeable and helpful. Visited during Derby week. Walkable from downtown hotels and Rupp Arena. Very inviting building -- we had dinner on the porch.

    First time in Lexington. I had their Black Manhattan cocktail and it was superb. We shared the she crab soup which was really unique and also excellent. Hanger steak and crab ravioli for entrees. Our lovely server Mckenna (sp?) made sure our meal was leisurely and well paced. A good find!!

    Celebrated our anniversary here. Excellent dining experience overall- from the ambience to the service and food - couldn’t ask for better. We were seated in their patio area which on a cool Spring evening was very comfortable. Able to converse easily; no excessive ambient noise to overcome. The cheese plate starter was terrific and an excellent precursor to our tasty main courses. A bit pricey, but for a night out, it was well worth it. Would highly recommend!

    This restaurant doesn’t open until 5 and there were many people waiting outside for the doors to open. Upon opening, the hostess and some other guy appeared to be overwhelmed and the guy was especially unpleasant. We were one of first tables seated but was not given the chance to sit where we wanted (sunroom like room). The bread was great as were the Henry burger and fries but the crab goat cheese ravioli was not very good and the portion was tiny. Would not recommend nor return.

    First- the noise level was not loud despite the accidental rating I gave it and could not determine how to go back and change it. Actually, my husband and I discussed how much better the noise level was at Distilled compared to other area restaurants. Our server, Allison, was outstanding. From helping me decide between two entrees to her attentiveness to the water glass refills, she was personable and spectacular. The atmosphere and food quality were perfect.     First visit. Was notified of a Prix fixe menu for Easter when reservation was confirmed which was not listed when reservation was made. Seated promptly and received excellent service. The She Crab soup and Smoked Salmon Baguette were wonderful. Three people at our table had identical orders for the filet. One was plated on a different dish and looked noticeably different. The cook on this filet was slightly more than the others. Crème brûlée was great, flourless chocolate cake a little dry. All our cocktails were just right. Looking forward to returning to try the regular menu.

    As always the food was great. Service was good. However, we were seated at a table with lounge chairs. Very uncomfortable. The chairs set too low and made the table too high. If we are ever seated there again I will request a different table. If a new table is not provided we will leave.

    Great meal last night. Restaurant is a great size. Not too big where’s it gets hard to talk. Servers were clearly all people with experience. Ciopinno was very flavorful and the seafood was properly done. My parents fried chicken had a unique flavor spin that traditionalists might not love, but worked for us. Tiramisu was so good, I should t have eaten it all! Recommended!

    We had a wonderful time at distilled, our best meal in the Lexington area. Great combo of flavors and textiles, great service from McKenna and lovely space in an old house. Standouts were the crab soup. We also enjoyed the lettuces with pistachio dressing, cheese ravioli, and hanger steak. Good bourbon selection tho we could have benefited from a little more advice.     Service was very good. Very attentive. The food was very good. Like that the tables are spaced well to feel comfortable.
