Food was so good- even better than usual - black grouper with pickled and smoked vegetables. Service excellent. Was in Louisville last week, ate at a recommended restaurant and it was good, but Lex has 8 restaurants as good or better. Distilled is at the top of that list.

Wonderful meal! Had the she-crab soup to start. It was fabulous from the first spoonful to the last. I had the airline chicken breast with Gruyère baked potato and haricots verts and roasted tomatoes. This was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. The chicken breast was incredibly moist and served with a flavorful, delicious sauce. I dined at the bar and Joe was a great bartender.

Great southern cooking & very good service. Nice whiskey list. Parking behind restaurant is not well marked. Not many places on the street in this older neighborhood. Overall very good experience.

We have been to your restaurant many times, seems your pricing is not on level, too high, compared with other restaurants in Lexington with the same offerings. I would your restaurant to others, though make them aware of the high cost of a meal.

Food was good but service was not. Our waiter barely talked to us, and never came back for refills or to check on how the food came out, and probably saw him three times, including bringing the bill. The hostess stepped up and helped us get water, ketchup, etc. She did a great job trying to troubleshoot.

My husband and I enjoyed everything about Distilled. We went for an anniversary dinner. From the warm greeting upon arrival, through a three course dinner, everything was delicious. We asked that our entree be shared, they plated before serving us. We anticipate going again with friends.

The food at Distilled is amazing every time we dine! We come here every year for our anniversary to celebrate and it never disappoints! Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is a delicious experience and the atmosphere is very romantic.

Wonderful experience. The food was extremely fresh and tasty, and not over-salted as restaurant food can sometimes be. The drinks were yummy and strong. Our server, Carly, was spot on -- efficient and pleasant without being bothersome. And our table on the patio was lovely. A perfect evening out.

A wonderful find! Loved our round table by the window near the bar. Attractive room. Food was terrific. Our waitress was fantastic and her suggestions were wonderful! Would go back if return to Lexington again! Highly recommend.

The food is always perfectly prepared. The chef is able to create dishes where upscale meets comfort food. Very unique and always delicious. Service lacked some attention this time, but still very good. This is my favorite restaurant in the Lexington area by far.

Service was excellent. The food plentiful and wonderful. Matter of fact very happy with the quantity. I have gone to high end restaurants and then have to stop somewhere else because still hungry. No, I am not 300 pds. Far from it thank God. Service was on point; my water glass was never empty which is a pet peeve of mine. Can not wait to go again. I love great food. I love to cook, I love the culinary arts. Since my family heritage comes from Italy, food was very important, to say the least. My expectations were exceeded. Great Time.

I am not feeling quite ok with the visit yesterday because I specifically indicated that I had a Tree Nut allergy and they served me a dessert with Pistachios and confirmed it was tree nut free. Luckily I do not have a severe allergy but for some people this is a life or death situation, they should care more about this

Intimate vibe. Excellent attentive service. They do a great job with alcohol and the food is generally good over all. The heart of my iceburg wedge salad was hard as a rock and should not of been served. But that’s an easy over sight when a kitchen is at full capacity on a busy Friday night. Service was just excellent with a very experienced wait staff. Great place. If I could make one recommendation it would be for an updated and more diverse menu. Great place to have an intimate meal with a significant other.

We had a reservation and at the time the restaurant did not seem very busy. At no point when I made the reservation was I told it was possible you would be seated outside. Without even asking my preference we were seated outside and it was quite warm. Would have preferred to eaten inside. Server was nice and food was delicious. Just think they should be more girth coming about outside options when making acreservation

Had a great evening and experience with Distilled on Jefferson. The staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. We had the cheese plate with wedge salads, paired with a rich Cabernet wine. A nice, relaxing evening on the patio. We will definitely return.

Love to have Brunch at Distilled. The French Toast is to die for! Also, love the special lunches they do for The Lexington Woman’s Club. Always yummy❤️ The evening meals are outstanding as well!
