Very busy when we arrived. Directed straight to our table by friendly staffer. Quick service and good selection of beers for my companions. I choose the house red at a dollar an oz. it was a very good wine and value. All of the serving staff were friendly and accommodating including the manager. The menu was diverse and prices reasonable. We will return. A hidden gem of a restaurant.

The food is incredible, so delicious. The cocktails are very tasty and unique. The service unfortunately is slow and they seem to be understaffed. You really have to nag them to do their jobs (e.g. to bring cutlery, get their attention, etc). Both times here we were served very slowly and didn’t get much attention. However, we come back for the food. Healthy, nutritious, and refreshing. One of my favourite spots. Just wish their service would improve.

Took my mom (vegetarian) here for dinner before seeing a show at the Princess of Wales theatre. I made a reservation as I knew it would be quite busy on a Friday night so we got it right away. The beer was great, food was tasty and fresh, and they were able to serve us quickly so we made our show. My mom was blown away by the amount of options! She said that it was the most vegetarian options she's seen on a menu in a long time. We loved it.

Great little restaurant, loved the atmosphere. Very unique menu with something for everyone. Excellent customer service. Would love to come back in the summer and experience the rooftop patio.

Service is perfect. Last time I was there I had the bourbon chicken, which was excellent and this time I ate the bowl of zen which was amazing. And the beet glory cocktail is so good. I like that they have gluten free and vegan options. I will definitely go back.

The food was creative, vegan friendly and very tasty. I really appreciated the offer to give me a sample of one of their cocktails, before ordering. The Nutty Professor was amazing! And it comes in a decanter with at least 3 full servings for you. The service was very good. I appreciated that I was able to ask a server who was not our "own" server a question and got prompt, gracious action rather than a brush-off.
My only negative comment is that while dining the music was very loud. We were seated away from the bar area, and yet I felt like I was shouting to my dinner companion and straining to hear her and the wait staff.. Perhaps it isn't so loud at lunch or brunch?

Great food selection - lot of gluten free options (one member in our party is celiac) - everything tasted delicious and house wine for $1 per ounce is great! I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

I saw the menu and initially thought this place has no meat options. Fortunately after a Instagram search I found some decent options including the pork chops and half chicken that were both very good. The pork chops were moist and portions were generous. The piri piri chicken had great seasoning and sat on a bed of vegetables that was unexpected and flavourful. Yes this place has a lot of vegan options but there are some good meat dishes in there as well if you look carefully. Good value for money. Recommend

Our second visit and it was another very good experience.
The food was better.. Fresher and hotter. Very good flavours.
Our wait staff was good but a bit rushed.
The noise level was superb until the last 20 minutes when the music was suddenly cranked up so we had to yell :(

Food was interesting and tasty. The restaurant was overly warm and uncomfortable. The food took quite a long time to be made and served. The brussel sprouts were burnt.

The place was fine, but they only had one server handling about 10 tables. She was trying her best, but the restaurant should invest more in their serving staff. Atleast one other person would have taken a load off the poor server.

Went for Valentine’s Day. After everything, we received the bill and we overheard our waitress talking to another table. Apparently there was a special Valentine’s Day menu. We were not offered this...

Still overall a good experience, but what gives?

Nice looking place/great atmosphere. Good drinks and attentive servers. Appetizers were pretty decent. However, the vegan burger has to be literally the worst thing I have ever eaten in my whole life. It was straight up terrible. Dry and tasted like freezer burned sawdust. Don't do it.

I went for winterlicious and had a great time. It is more of a casual but welcoming atmosphere. The food is geared toward comfort but great vegetarian twists. The only part of the meal I didn’t enjoy was the champagne sorbet. I highly recommend trying this place.

Took my overseas friend out for dinner. Service was good as were the food and drinks. Everything reasonably priced. Only complaint was that the music was way too loud inside the restaurant. We were told it was to help drown out the table next to us that were quite loud, but it was overkill.

The winterlicious menu was very disappointing. The starter kale salad was so spicy it was inedible. Never had a spicy kale Caesar salad before. The main course piri piri chicken was just the half chicken - no veggies or potatoes to accompany it for the main course? And then the flourless chocolate torte for dessert tasted like it was from the discount section at a grocery store. Nothing special. I really liked the vibe and the $1 per ounce wine however was highly disappointed in the food.

I booked a Winterlicious to celebrate my friends b/day.
The appetizers, kale salad and flatbread were delectable!
The raspberry cheesecake and chocolate torte were also amazing.
The main course was a disappointment, the zucchini pasta was very strongly flavoured and left a bitter aftertaste.

But all in all we had a great time :)

We had a reservation booked for 8pm and did not get our table until 840pm, after I reminded the hostess that we were still waiting. Once we sat down the waitress forgot about our orders on two separate occasions and had to be reminded. The music was very loud and it was hard to have a conversation. This is the second time I've been here with a similar experience. I would not recommend it.
