Located on the waterfront where Granville Island faces the city, guests can enjoy panoramic views across False Creek to the world-famous cityscape of Yaletown and beyond to the mountains of the North Shore.

The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails.

The award-winning seasonal patio (patio closed October to March) catches sunlight from morning to afternoon and is an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek.

Whether dining inside or outside the views are stunning!

The food was great, and the service was great. I have never had a bad experience at the Dockside Restaurant. This is my favorite restaurant. Fabulous on the deck in the summer and equally fine inside in the winter!

I was very surprised that the food quality was so poor. I have been to this restaurant before but this was bad. Perhaps it was the Vancouver Dine Out program that had ‘mass production’ and hence lowered the quality. I had out of town guests that only complained after dinner when I mentioned that the meal perhaps wasn’t as great in my car. I noticed the couple did not finish their main course and was perhaps too polite to complain then. Service and ambience were excellent though. I am very disappointed!

We had a nice table. The server was kind but at the end of our main meal he came and asked us if we could pay because he was finishing his shift. He didn’t offer us anything else (dessert, , more drinks). So we paid and left. Very odd and I have never experienced this at any restaurant- low or high end. The food was subpar for a nice restaurant. We ordered from the happy hour menu as we were not offered any other menu. The Caesar salad was basically fine and the chicken was bland. It was just a plain grilled chicken breast with barely any seasoning. And it was cold. Too bad and I will not be recommending this restaurant nor will I go back.

For the main entre, the broccolini was overcooked and the fries were very salty. The steak was nicely cooked and tasty, although there was a bit more fat on the steak than desired. The service was excellent. The ambience was lively, but a bit noisy.

Good experience, not great. Perhaps time of day was a factor, our arrival being 1:45pm. In my experience it seems that the more diners there are and the busier the servers and bartenders are, the attentiveness is generally better than with a few tables to mind. Understandably.

Went for the dine out with my family and it was overall alright. Our server was lovely and did her job fantastically. The food was good/okay. The appetizers were definitely better than the mains. The tuna tataki was slightly tough and the spinach dip was okay. The oyster mushroom calamari was the best of the three. For the entrees, all steak and frites entrees were too salty, from the steak itself to the fries to the broccolini. Also, as a personal preference, we were confused as to why the steaks were sliced up before being served to us. There was also a salmon entree and that was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious. The service from the kitchen was incredibly slow, around 20-25 minutes between each course and the restaurant wasn't even super busy during our 7:30pm reservation. The desserts we had, the cocoa mousse and the tiramisu, were really really good. Wish we didn't get the vegan caramel pudding, that was slightly atrocious. It was an overall alright dinner but I personally wouldn't come back again due to the food not being up to par with what I expected.

We did the Dine Out menu. The mushroom calamari was delicious, and the spinach dip was only ok. The squash risotto was ok but not what I was expecting - the squash was tart and the daikon added quite a kick. The desserts were good, especially the tiramisu. Service was a bit slow at the start when it was very busy, but was very kind and attentive in the end.

We went to Dockside to try out their DineOut menu! All three appetizers were delicious, and good value for the mains. They were quite busy so service was slow but all staff were very friendly and professional! The tiramisu was delicious!!! Maybe avoid the vegan dessert...
