Love the souvlaki flatbread. My friend had the Caesar salad with shrimp and avocado. Said it’s the best she’s ever had and she is a connoisseur of good food. I’ll have it next time

Had the oysters and scallops. Small portions but taste good. Lobster risotto was a disappointment. Rice was not cooked nor soft enough for the buttery velvet feel. Lobster pieces were small and migrated within the risotto like blueberries in porridge. Cutlery was not correct. No seafood fork for oysters and dinner knife and fork for thé scallop appetizer which came in a dish the size of a side bread plate. I don’t know how many tables are we just had but it was hard to flag her down exit when she saw our drinks empty and asked us if we wanted another. Is the desert for a long and we had a show together. Overall, very disappointed. However, the restaurant is beautiful. If I may make a suggestion… I do believe they need to have a expert to re train their staff for fine /good dining experience. Crème brûlée tasted like it was thicken with something. I would compare it to Greek yogurt, but not how they would make a traditionally by straining the liquid, but with thickeners like flour.

fantastic view of False creek. Food was excellent, we ordered many appetizer and all of them are nicely presented and taste very good. Sadly all beer are in cans and they don't have draft beer. They used to brew their own beer on side and stopped during COVID. I really wish they would bring their own draft beer back in the future.

We went to the Dockside restaurant for a farewell breakfast one day after out son’s wedding. We all had the Lox Benedict. The food was excellent, as was the service.

We had a lovely dinner with our daughters; service was good and the server patiently allowed us to interrogate her about the gribiche sauce that came with the steelhead. A chili cheese dip with flatbread was a favourite with the group as was the beef carpaccio. The steelhead salmon was very well prepared although I’m on the fence about the gribiche sauce (it’s a mustard base with chopped hard boiled eggs and pickles in it); a hollandaise option would have been nice although I understand why it’s not. Desserts were also delicious particularly the citrusy creme brûlée. I am fond of this restaurant having visited the patio many times (first time indoors) and I’m pleased to report that they haven’t jacked up their prices to ridiculous levels; I’ve seen this done in quite a few Vancouver and Whistler restaurants. So Dockside is still reasonable, consistently delicious, has good ambience and good service.

Returned to the Dockside Restaurant for dinner. Had the excellent beef carpacchio and Caesar Salad. Mw wife had the Mac 'n Cheese and loved it. Our server Kylie was a pro attentive and engaging. Parking can be an issue when dining here sometimes, wished they allowed restaurant users to use some part of the hotel parking lot but that's a minor issue only during the summer. All in all Dockside was a great place to dine on Granville Island....

The ambiance on the patio is wonderful - you sit almost among the yachts and are part of all the action on False Creek. The service was attentive and the selection of local beers was interesting. The food was good and nicely presented. The one exception was the sole, which was a bit dry.

Well the menu said that ‘All Wine is 50% off’ So we ordered a bottle of Prosecco. The waiter then told us the Bubbly wines are NOT included in the 50% off.🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ What the heck??? The menu doesn’t say that!!! Please update your menu with the correct info.🤨

It was our 47th wedding anniversary. Server Allan was very helpful, just right amount of service. Seated near window lovely natural lighting. Perfect view of false creek, sunset and boats. Very happy with our choice.

My first visit to Vancouver. I had dinner here the night before the Renaissance World Tour. Lara was my waitress and she was excellent. The view from the seawall is unmatched. The canadian wine is delicious. I had pasta and lobster...what more could I ask for. Well done Dockside. Well done!

4th time at Dockside: This was my “special birthday”. I was not impressed with my main course. Had the salmon. The potion was small the 2 large potatoes were not edible and the asparagus were super thin and hard. Very disappointing to say the least. The waiter was excellent. The ambiance is great. Barry

We had a window seat, which was very nice to view the marina. The Ceasars salad was one of the very best I've ever had. 😋 highly recommend it. Appetizer was the pork bellies in some very exotic sauce. Again 5 star 🌟 The sole for the main course was slightly less delicious. But considering was was previous it was hard to top. Our desert was three scoops of Gelato . I highly recommend this restaurant. We were not pushed at all. Very leisurely.

The food I came for was no longer available, the food I then ordered was sold out and the food I ended up getting was not worth what I paid for. The waitress was not attentive, she never smiled, it seemed like she did not want to be there. It was also very noisy, especially compared to other times we ante ant this restaurant. After going there from enjoyable past experiences, I won’t be going back.

Was initially seated on patio where there were loud children and old guys mingling, but the staff was super accommodating when we asked to be moved. Once moved, it was a beautiful experience.

We have enjoyed many lunches at Dockside over the years. However today we were disappointed with the experience. The menu seems to be curtailed from what it was. For example, the mussels that we enjoyed in the past are gone. The overly cheesy tuna melt and Croque Monsieur were poor substitutes. No beer on tap is also a big miss for a Granville Island restaurant. This was paired with haphazard service as the server brought both sandwiches with salads when we had expressly ordered fries with one. The replacement fries took some time to come and were then added as an extra to our bill, which had to be rectified. Finally they also marked us as a no-show on our opentable reservation which we had to subsequently correct.

The restaurant is apparently undergoing some changes and the food quality is at its lowest level since it opened. Injecting French words in menu would not help hide the inability to execute some of the simplest dishes. It was such an embarrassment for me to book this place for gathering with friends from out of town. We don't even have to talk about price/value just yet. Hope the management can turn around quickly. It would be a shame to see the restaurant go under at such premium location. No, I would not recommend as a local. I think most of the people who eat there are now tourists and hotel guests. In any case, you would not want to come back to this place again.

Lovely setting. Sat on the Terrace and enjoyed a delicious breakfast of Eggs Benny perfectly cooked. Menu has a good selection, Jenifer the waitress looked after us well with quick and pleasant service. Thought the coffee could be better tho.

Food was way too salty and overpriced for what it was!! First time in a long time where we tried really hard to finish our meal…both pasta dishes were seasoned heavily with salt. Service was mediocre…it took a long time to get water refills. Windows were pretty dirty so it didn’t matter if you got a table by the window as it didn’t really capture the beautiful view at Granville Island. Restaurant was also pretty loud, so it was hard to have a nice dinner conversation. Overall, we did not enjoy our experience and it was pretty expensive, so we will not be coming back.

Loved the Restaurant and its ambiance by the waters. Excellent Staff. We personally thank Dheer, the experienced server, and also Asif the Hotel manager for their service as we felt that they diligently went above and beyond in their customer service. Thank you very much once again. Would highly recommend readers to visit this marvelous patio restaurant which promises a private and memorable space with a quiet atmosphere just behind the corner of all the noise at Granville Island. Note: Limited Public Parking space in Granville Island, so be prepared to visit 30-45 minutes before the restaurant reservation to arrive in time after finding a suitable paid parking spot for your vehicle. The restaurant team is courteous to inform about the parking issue well in advance during the time of online booking.
