   Don't eat the Mac & cheese it's horrible, don't people understand Mac & cheese should be somewhat creamy, not sticky, or stretchy, the cheese should have been cheddar, with some whip cream or sour cream, and broccolini is simply delicious in my Mac & cheese. Try some up in Pemberton, at Mile One Restaurant they know how to make good Mac & cheese.

   Lovely place for a meal looking out towards the docks/harbour on Granville island. We love going here for brunch! Been here many times each time the food is exceptional and the service impeccable! Highly recommended.

   A great place to eat at Granville Island. Good food but no children's menu. Our server was wonderful. The greeter could have been a bit more enthusiastic/friendly.

    The food is always great, but this meal particularly was ridiculously good- it's all we could talk about! We'll be back for the lamb hummus for sure. That bread!! So good.

    We took my 92 yr. old mother in law here, she really enjoys this restaurant we have been here on multiple dinner occasions. The service, ambience and variety in cuisine are consistently good. Thank you Dockside!

    Everything was perfect. The chef out did himself - one of the best meals of the last year. Seafood tower, Marquez hummus, scallops, seared tuna, quail, squid, and pork belly were all stand outs! Baked yogurt dessert was the perfecting ending.

    Friendly and efficient staff provided knowlegable advice not only on the foods but also on the appropriatee wine pairings without having to consult with the sommelier. Great views of the City and the activity in False Creek.

    The parking is difficult here. I had the Lyonaise salad which I usually love and it usually comes with small pieces of thick cut bacon called ‘lardons’ but this one came with pork belly on the side which consisted of large pieces of pure pork fat! There was no meat whatsoever. Ewww. That needs to be re examined.

    The Dockside is a spectacular setting for a restaurant and well worth the visit, however the brunch menu is quite restricted and the accompaniments sparse. My daughters steak and eggs was exactly that. A steak with two eggs on a plate: no garnish, no salad, nothing. My eggs bennie was also sparse and cold with the sauce congealed on the eggs and all potatoes. Nothing else to liven or brighten the plate. Service was slow, but they appeared to be understaffed like so many places these days.

    Feb11. We were on our way to the Arts Club, Granville Island Stage. We appreciate the discount given. We were surprised by the brunch menu and were actually sorry that some of the regular lunch items were not available. However, I had smoked salmon eggs Benny and it was superb and another had the smoked meat sandwich which was also very good.

    It was not the best experience that's for sure. I have an allergy to pork and red chilis. My friend has a religious restriction to pork. So we both ordered smoked salmon eggs benny. The hollandaise sauce had chili's in it, and the side potatoes had chili salt so I asked for no sauce and to have the potatoes cooked without bacon grease or chili salt. And was told they couldn't accommodate me so then I asked him to sub out the potatoes for a salad and he said we don't typically do alterations. I told waiter they have a legal obligation in BC to accommodate allergies and so he was able to get kitchen to give salad instead of potatoes. The meals came, no sauce and no capers. I asked if it was supposed to have capers? He said I will get those for you and brought us to two dishes with capers and as he walked away he said but just so you know they are likely fried in bacon grease. Just a ridiculous experience. Beautiful view and ambiance, but with that kind of mentality around allergies and religious restrictions to pork (which in a city the size and cultural melting pot is a VERY common requirement), not interested in dealing with that when I just want to have a nice brunch and not need to school the waiter (who claimed he has been a waiter for many years - to which I feel he should 100% know legal accommodation requirements at the very least - but he did seem very nervous about it too so wondering if it's more the chef who needs to be schooled on how to serve your customers properly instead of your own convenience. Who knows. Won't go back.

    We have eaten at dockside many times and have also stayed at the hotel and our experience has always been great!!! Definitely recommend dining at dockside for any meal .. breaky, lunch, or dinner .. also the wine list is fine and cocktails are awesome

    We have been to Granville Island many times but never knew that the hotel was there. Walking into the dining room was a lovely surprise. So beautiful and terrific views! Chairs were comfortable. Our server, Kylie, was wonderful and fun to be with. We lucked into the Dine-out Vancouver menu. Great price! $60 got us carpaccio, game hen and a sticky pudding dessert. All in all, a great evening!

    Dinner was amazing as usual,although I found the oysters a little pricey I would've love to have more they were delicious..our server was funny,gave great service..was definitely a pleasure being served by her..As a Chef myself the food was outstanding as usual..sticky toffee pudding😍Overall we had an amazing experience...Half my guess have never been there but they,ll definitely will be back.....Thanks for keeping up with the standards..Big hats off to the kitchen....Great job...
