We had the short rib pasta, lamb shank, steak and Mac and cheese. All delicious. Ambience is great and noise level allowed for conversation. Seating area is not very well lit, it’s intentional, but the corner we were in was and it worked for our group.

The food was fine, our initial server kind of disappeared, didn’t return even after our food had been cleared and I had finished my first drink of a bottomless brunch with no refill until another server from a different table noticed we’ve been sitting without service for a solid 15-20 minutes. We bounced around to another server after that. We just felt really forgotten about.

Ambience was good. Food was fresh and good. Drinks were not worth it. Service was great. The coconut yogurt plate price is not in accordance with the other plates’ price.

The food is decent, though a little expensive. It's good for nights out with friends, or a date night. It's a bit loud inside, but the ambiance is cool. There is a good mix of food on the menu, though I wish they had more vegetarian friendly options.

When in NYC dining at Dolly Vardens is a go to with a varied menu for light dining or a full meal. This time the cheeseburger and short rib grilled cheese were ordered; both were delicious…tasty fries and a side salad were the sides. Wait staff were very attentive…it will continue to stay on my places to in NYC for a good meal at a good price.

The restaurant is pretty small and the menu was limited to brunch items. The food was good & so was the service. They needed some better drink options. No diet soda offered which would have been nice. They tried to accommodate all of our preferences

Great place before or after a show! Creative and fantastic cocktails. Food was overall delicious. The buffalo wings were top 5 that I've had in my life and I eat wings as often as I can. They seemed to be southern fried and then sauced, which is a combination I've not seen yet with buffalo wings. Would definitely go back.

4 friends met here for a pre-theatre Saturday brunch. It was perfect! Food was terrific - eggs Benedict and some raw oysters- and Bloody Mary’s were perfectly spiced! But the winning bit was the ambience- not table crowded and noisy like do many restaurants in the neighborhood. Didn’t rush us and service was spot on. Highly recommend.

Super stylish and charming two level restaurant. The downstairs bar looks like a train car and is really cute. The upstairs dining room was really cool. I had the short rib grilled cheese which was really good and my husband really liked his steak au poivre. Really nice experience!

Great location and nice brunch with a decent bottomless option. This was our second visit and the service was awful. Very unattractive service staff. Our server disappeared and we had to flag down another to take our second drink order. This happed on both our visits and we will not be backed.
