Built in 1889, Dominion began its life as a brew pub and hotel for the Dominion Brewery owned by Robert T. Davies and has been a Corktown staple ever since! Located at the corner of Queen Street East and Sumach Street, Dominion is the perfect mix of old world Victorian charm and contemporary gastropub vibes!

We take beer seriously and pour 24 taps, including local and hard-to-find craft beers. There’s hand-crafted cocktails and plenty of bourbon on-hand, wine too if that’s your liquid of choice. Good food and menu options but service was horrible. I can’t put the blame on the staff since there was only two people on a busy Saturday night but it took a very long time to order and get the food. There was also a live performance that was absolutely terrible. Otherwise tasting menu was good.

I don't even know where to begin. The younger server we had was basically serving the entire restaurant. The manager was busy looking at her phone while the entire restaurant was waiting for any kind of service. I eventually went up to the bar to get drinks after we ordered beers and they didn't arrive for 45 minutes. This would of been an excellent opportunity to showcase your restaurant. I'm fairly certain you lost a lot of futures clients last Sunday. It was the Canada-Croatia World Cup game. Should of been better staffed.

Great local bar with bar style food cooked in front of you with an open view kitchen. Menu is one of a foodies delight with impressive wine list and some unique and quirky spirits. This is my local bar and have never popped in before but I was impressed. I’m British so pubs are an area of expertise and I have no hesitation in saying I’ll be back!!

Reposting review from Google: Didn’t even get a chance to eat since the hours are incorrect. Booked a reservation on OpenTable & showed up at 10:30 to locked doors. Grabbed coffee up the street and came back to find the doors still locked. We ended up going down to another restaurant for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised with the Dominion pub. The food was quite good. I had the blackened fish tacos and my friend had the burger special both were very good. Our sever was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely eat there again!

The server had minimal to no interest in serving us, we were sat next to a huge speaker and had to end up leaving brunch early. The food was minimal and served to us in 5 mins. Overall a bad experience

The food was garbage. I ordered a Chicken and Waffles and it was not worth the $25 it was advertised. Even as inflation has effected the bottom line, when you cheapen out by ordering Costco or store bought version of Belgian Waffles and refry chicken strips, you now it's bad. I luckily got my order rescinded. Also when you suggest to use the app and then give a paper version where the prices are higher, you are doing a disservice to the customer. It's horrible.

Overall was very good - Busy and a nice neighborhood vibe. Food was ok - however felt like it was something that we could have prepared for ourselves at home. Starters were expensive - Fish Taco appetizer for a similar price as the Fish Taco entree.. weird And don't get the blended drinks from the bar $15 each and we didn't know it. Next time won't spend that.. Service was pretty good, attentive and the server worked fairly hard to care for us even though it was her second week. Some menu items changed, and were not explained, so they adjusted the bill which was appreciated. All in all - a good place to go - just hoping things will keep improving.

When you walk in the front entrance vestibule. The smell of cigarette smoke is strong. The interior was modern and up to date. The patio was sunny and welcoming. I ordered the hangover sandwich and my partner ordered a burger. The sandwich was a bit overly sauced and my partners burger a big undercooked. I thought the mimosa was a good value. The servers were pleasant and helpful. I think the food could be stronger and I’d go back.

Annabelle proved to be quite an indifferent server and that was disappointing. The food was tasty and prompt. The atmosphere was good as well.

When we arrived with a reservation they tried to sit us at these couches at the front. Not sure how you would dinner on couches. The host then tried to sit us at a high top table with people right beside us. Then moved us to a table in the back but needed to check on other reservations first. Even though we had a reservation booked a week prior. Our sangria was a full thing of ice barely any juice/alcohol. Server was very accommodating. 2/4 of our plates were very cold. Again the server was nice and brought us new warm dishes. Overall I would give the restaurant a 2/5. The best part was our server she was very sweet and accommodating.

This was the first time for indoor dining with friends since the pandemic began. Dominion Pub used to be my regular spot in the neighbour and I’m glad it’s back!
