   One of the finest dining experiences of our lives. Service above 5 star food beyond fabulous in taste and superb presentation. Decor of the restaurant was stunning. I would rate this three star Michelin!!!

   Went for the $220 course and it was a total disappointment. Later I looked around and seems like $140 a la carte must be the better choice as everyone else was ordering that. I will list what went wrong: 1. hair in the brioche - replacement came 10 minutes later with no apology. 2. almost all dishes were unbalanced (too much acid in the delicate white fish plate, etc.), worst of all the temperature was off. (lukewarm pasta, dry pasta) 3. last course's bison steak was changed to wagyu, and the 1/3 was just fat (not a marble, just fat) and I saw other table (came after us) was served the same dish as a la carte with jus au boeuf type of sauce poured on the table, but mine was not) 4. timing was bad - some courses came too fast, and then awkward long wait for the next course. 5. quality of 2 desserts was sad, I couldn't finish them. Hazelnut dessert was boring. Other dessert was just for a show with smoke with dry ice, but that's it. I should have read all those 1 star reviews and trusted them - it was a hard and expensive lessen I paid!

   I took my fiance for his 30th birthday last night. He's been wanting to go for a year since learning about Don Alfonso. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The only issue we had was that the special that was offered (caviar) cost a lot more than we expected. We've never had caviar before so we really aren't familiar with pricing for it. It was our own fault for not asking for the price but I guess I felt a little embarrassed to do so at such a high-end place. It would've been nice to have that disclosed before we ordered it rather than learning the price after seeing an extra $450 added to the bill. That was more than all the other items together! Overall we are planning to go again for another special occasion, just without adding the special offering.

   The experience was exceptional. Our waiter Liam was a real sweet guy and made the experience even more memorable. My friend and I went for the a la cart menu, between the 2 of us, we were able to try 6 dishes. Also got free bite size dessert for friend's bday and even a bday gift. Everything was perfect and well desert the michilin star.

   Service was amazing. Food was good at its best but very expensice. Special pasta dish was $80.00 per plate, small and the pasta wasn't warm but it was very flavourful. We order 2 along the side of our set menu of $140.00 pp. The whole table had to have it. They wouldnt give you a option as I wanted to try the $230.00 pp one but the other couple didn't like the menu. Great experience, beautiful view of the city. Our bill was $1,400.00 in change including tip for 4 of us.

    Our anniversary experience was phenomenal. We booked 3 months in advance and was worth every minute of the time we waited to celebrate our special night. Our server Liam was exceptional, as we're all of the other wonderful staff we met. To say the food was outstanding would be an understatement. We are looking forward to this being our anniversary and special occasion destination in the future.

    Amazing ambiance. Views were spectacular. Service impeccable. Bathrooms were pretty cool too! Meal was delicious but pricey although not outrageous for this type of restaurant. Definitely worth a visit with the tasting menu a must on your first time here.

    This restaurant certainly lives up to its reputation. Although we did not have the opportunity to experience the "tasting menu", the a-la-carte menu was outstanding. The service was impeccable, as well as the ambiance. We will definitely be returning.

    Beautiful views, excellent, very conscientious and seamless service. We ordered from the a la carte menu and found the dishes all quite good but the star of the show was the dessert-- so clever, inventive, and varied in flavour, texture, and temperature, without being too rich or too sweet. Would 100% return specifically for the desserts.

    We went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and we had the great fortune to be served by the waiter Santiago, who showered us with attention and made us spend a wonderful night. Everything was wonderful and delicious!!! They also have very good tequilas and mezcals!!

    Took my wife for our 2 year anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences of our lives. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and real professionals. The dining is exquisite. Michelin Star experpience. Thank you, Nathan, for the extra care last night. A very memorable evening.

    My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Due to some recent medical challenges for my wife, she was not able to partake in the tasting menus and the restaurant was extremely accommodating to her needs. Our waiter, Regan, made sure my wife felt included throughout the evening regardless of her menu selection. While it might seem trivial to some, it meant the world to my wife. We really want to thank and appreciate Regan for making our night so memorable for us both! Food was amazing - if you’re on the fence, definitely bite the bullet! There is a reason it’s one of the top Italian restaurants outside of Italy! Will definitely return :)

    After a smooth ride up to the 38th floor in a glass elevator, we were treated to elevated hospitality in an elegant and inviting setting with breathtaking panoramic views of the Toronto skyline. The service is flawless (Rachel, you were fabulous!) and the food is exceptionally delicious and well executed. Based on my prior dining experiences, I would give Don Alfonso a second Michelin star. Be prepared to open your wallet, but you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended for a memorable evening in TO.
