Not a fan of tacking on additional cost to cover credit card use (normally this would be ‘hidden’ in the prices. You want to me a high-end steakhouse, with fairly high prices…who Carrie’s hundreds of dollar in cash? And no Amex?! I just think it’s a bad look.

The food was very good and our server, Theresa, was outstanding. The one thing I found disappointing was that the appetizers menu was really nothing more than bar food. For a restaurant that prides itself on being a "fine dining" restaurant, the appetizers should be a little more upscale like the more well-known steakhouses (Fleming's comes to mind).

Not as good as it’s wants to be. $100 steak served on a chipped plate. Desert sparkler exploded in our faces. Leftover bags are just black grocery bags. Cardboard stand showing what payment types they accept on the table. Table light would work. Food was good but I have had better for far cheaper. Overall not close to what I thought it would be.

The food was great and hot. Adult beverages were a full serving, MY our wait person was very personable and outgoing and added to our family's celebration. My only negative was the $11 charge on our bill for using a credit card. How many folks carry $500 in cash with them when they go out to eat. That policy alone will keep us from returning on a more frequent basis.

When guests pay electronically, restaurants pay a fixed amount per transaction PLUS a percentage of every sale. The Non-Cash Adjusment fee helps cover the rising costs of processing these electronic payments. Although it is not a universal practice, it is gaining in frequency so look for it everywhere. We provide a Cash price with every bill which eliminates the NCA altogether.

The lemon pepper chicken meal was extremely salty and shrimp Caesar's salad was also before par. The lettuce was old and not fresh. The other meals, appetizers , drinks were good. Our waitress was amazing and I can tell she loves her job and a great person inside. I will definitely recommend others to this place even with the two below below standard. Have a great weekend

The lemon-caper-butter sauce is tart and loaded with capers which add that briny/salty layer. It can take you by surprise if you arent ready for it, and we would have gladly made you a new dish without the capers. Our produce comes in daily so the Romaine for your Caesar would have been fresh, we apologize that it seemed otherwise. Again, we would have been happy to remedy that for you. We appreciate you!

I read the menu carefully as I was going to order a steak, especially the description of the cooking levels. I chose the NY strip, and I wanted it medium. The menu reads that medium is solid pink in the middle; the meat was over cooked and resembles a well-done steak. I pointed this out to the lady manager, and she suggested a new steak, but my wife liked what she had ordered, and I did not want to watch my wife eating while I waited for a new steak. I ate mine and was left unsatisfied. The place was noisy and the table we had was very small; had to remove the bread plates in order to fit the dinner plates. The server was very nice as I did not blame her for the steak not being cooked correctly.

Restaurants pay a fixed cost PLUS a percentage of each transaction when processing credit and signature debit cards. The NCA fee is a transparent way to help businsesses offset the rising costs of processing these electronic payments. We have it printed on every menu and posted at our entrance. It is gaining in popularity, so pay attention everywhere you use your card! Thanks again.

Finally, a nice quiet place to have an outstanding meal in Chandler. The hostess, Heather was outstanding and put us at a wonderful booth where we could see the entire restaurant. The food was all prepared well and delivered, warm and delicious. Our waitress was professional, courteous on time and attentive. Great for business meeting date night or when you just want to unwind .

We have been going to this restaurant at least one time a month for the last four years. It has definitely gone downhill. Before, the owners were around and talking with tables and now it seems to be a lot of turnover with managers. Last night we had early reservations at 5 PM so it was very quiet. We had our nine-year-old with us and we saw a sandwich pass our table headed to the bar and we asked what it was because we were going to order that for our child. The waitress said she would love to let us order it because they do not offer a kids menu. She said she would ask the manager. The manager on duty was the strawberry blonde woman, and she said she would not allow us to order off of the bar menu for our child while sitting in the main dining room. Even though we would pay full price, not happy hour price, so our child could have a steak sandwich rather than a giant adult entrée. This is absolutely ridiculous. The manager should use her common sense and customer service skills and adjust things when needed to accommodate customers. Especially when the waitress was so kind and willing to do it but the manager vetoed it. The manager did look absolutely miserable all evening like she did not want to be there. Sadly, it’s little things like this that make restaurants go downhill quick. Time to start looking for another place.

However, we are very sorry for what must have been a miscommunication. Although we only offer our Happy Hour Menu at the bar, in the lounge, and on the patio, we offer 5 different sandwiches on our regular, weekday menu. I am sorry you missed those and hope your child was able to enjoy their meal. Our managers have been here for years and hope to meet you personally.

The service and food were excellent.The only problem was that the new hostess gave away our table at the front 10 minubefore. We got that was the only problem.

The service was incredible. I had the filet, loaded potato, and lobster Mac and cheese. My only wish is that the bread was different. Maybe smaller pieces and warmed up. I strongly recommend this place and will continue to go there often.

Always wonderful meal snd great place to celebrate. We had the walleye you can't get just anywhere. Delicious and the calamari done perfectly well seasoned and tender. Ribs fell off the bone snd meat ju y snd tender with a tangy sauce to compliment the smoke. Great job all around

We took our mom out for her birthday dinner and we all loved our meals. We go here about once a month and it is always excellent. Don't miss out on the carrot cake for dessert. And order 2 sides of vanilla ice cream. It is the bomb!

Excellent Food & Service. We will go back. The one thing I did not like. You can't get a different side only baked potato. Including a Cesar Salad. If want a different side you have to pay separately and it is served family style. So to much for one person and you have to pay extra for different side. Prices start at about 8 or 9 Dollars.

I have dined at DC many times and enjoyed both the food and the ambiance. However, this restaurant has decided to charge the customer a credit card fee for using a credit card to pay their bill. It is the only restaurant I know of in the Phoenix metro area that has this policy. I think that in this day and age most people will charge their dinner so the fee is just a way to make more money. To add insult to injury I was told the restaurant would not accept my AMEX card so I had to use another credit card as a form of payment. This was disgraceful and I will not be returning to DC anytime soon.

Our experience at the DC Steakhouse was not bad. We were early so we enjoyed a drink at the bar. When our friends arrived, we were seated at a nice table. Our server was very nice. The Seafood plater was decent, the salads were so so, the steaks were prepared perfectly, the ribeye was so so, but the filet was delicious. To end it we had 7 layer chocolate cake with coffee... Not bad

We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary there yesterday. We sat outside on the patio which is directly across from the bar on the other side of the grassy center common area. They appeared to have live music playing but it was not so loud to affect our enjoyment of the evening or the meal. Our food was delicious and very generous portions. The servers were all pleasant and willing to please. We will be back.

It comes from our beloved Certified Angus Beef brand partners and at just over 30 days, it is our only Dry Aged cut in house. It is a prmium cut and only offered as a specail, so when we can get them right, we share them with you! Thanks again. We appreciate your time.

Service was good and so was the ambiance. Unfortunately, all the up charges left us feeling unvalued and not really welcomed. I guess passing on the credit card fees is going to be the new normal. Food was nothing special and I can’t say that we would return. So many other great options in the area. But if you do go, bring cash, no sharing or substitutions.

Server, Junior was great. The other high end steakhouses are better. High priced, Shrimp Cocktail semi-fresh, no offer of horseradish. Filet was ordered medium, no pink in the steak at all. Other High end steakhouses get if right. Lastly other high-end steakhouses do not charge for using credit cards and accept AMEX.
