   I stayed at the inn and ate at the restaurant to sample the breakfast, lunch, and dinner during my stay. They did not disappoint, and the view was an added bonus!

   Our breakfast was outstanding! Not only was our food amazing, but the service was top-notch, the view was incredible and the atmosphere/decor was a feast for the eyes.

   The food other than one dish was exceptional. One piece of fish was undercooked and mushy and was removed from the bill. The starters and main dishes arrived all at once and so the starters were not enjoyed as the focus was on the main meal. Waitress came back after first bite and all was fine and then never checked in again until 20 minutes after we had finished. I have eaten here before and really enjoyed the whole experience so I expected better and was very disappointed. There are so many wonderful places in the area that I do not think I would return.

    A truly great experience, we were not rushed and were able to engage in conversation without loud music, food was unbelievably good and the waitress was attentive and engaging without interfering. For our two other guests it was their first time and they said they would be back! A tad expensive, but worth every penny!

    The waiter was excellent. Polite and attentive. The food was good but not really as hot as it should have been. Medium warm. However it tasted great. Overall a very good experience. Definitely will return again soon. Thanks very much for a nice evening. Pat Donovan

    It’s quite expensive for breakfast. $14 for 4 tiny scones and $19 for breakfast with 1 sausage is not good value. Service is always good and it’s one of the few places in the County that is open everyday and takes reservations.

    Had NYE reservations at 8:00. Walked in. No hostess to greet us. There was a front desk person adjacent to the hostess post but she didn't even bother looking up from her computer. Hostess eventually arrives. Tells us we'll be seated in 10 minutes and to find a spot to sit in the common area. 35 minutes later. No one has come to update us or at the very least offer a glass of water or opportunity to order a drink from the bar. I get up to get my own update and we're finally seated. When we order I ask what the Celeriac Steak is. Waitress says "oh it's a steak." As in a meat steak. No it's not. It was alright but definitely not what I had asked if it was. My wife didn't like her 2nd cocktail. Most other nice restaurants offer to replace it. The waitress never even alluded to the possibility of getting it replaced. When I asked her about the "steak", again, no offer to replace it. She just said "oh you're right, that was my mistake, sorry." Eventually asked to speak with the manager. She was very reasonable. My dinner and our drinks were comp'd. The entire experience, however, was an overall disappointment. Inability to host, communicate, understand the menu and adhere to reservation times made this place a complete bust. It

    Food was great, service was attentive. Our meal was delayed but the server explained they were aware and took drinks off for the inconvenience. Wonderful atmosphere and would be an amazing place to visit in summer as patio area looks great but we visited in December. Would recommend for romantic dinner or special occasion

    A foodie oasis. An absolute godsend. We basically ate two dinners in a row because we couldn’t stop - everything was so incredibly good. The cocktails are everything you want them to be - interesting, varied, and perfectly balanced. The food menu as well - something for everyone, and everything is delicious. If I lived a little closer I’d probably be there every night! Word of caution though, it can be rather chilly (so many beautiful windows overlooking the lake!) so do wear a sweater if you tend to be cold. A small inconvenience well worth the fantastic atmosphere and absolutely 5 star food and beverage!

    It is our usual place to stop by while on route to Quebec or US to dine and admire the view. Normaly I would give it five stars.The thing that threw us off this time is a soviet style propaganda in restrooms that basically encourages people to report their fellow citizens. It was uncalled for and left a very bad taste.

    It was my first time in PEC and brunch at the Drake Devonshire did not disappoint. Our server was terrific, my turmeric latte had lots of flavour, the blueberry scones were beyond yummy and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection! We were fortunate to snag a window table on a beautiful sunny winter’s day! Thanks for making my first but definitely not the last visit to PEC so memorable!

    Not very good experience. We sat there for about 10 mins and no body served us. But a waitress served another two tables that came after us. I raise hand a few times and the waiter/waitress didn’t see it. I ordered medium steak but it is medium rare. Meat was tough to chew. And the chicken was too dry. Duck wings was good though.     We celebrated a birthday which I mentioned in the reservation hoping for a window table. No luck and I guess no big deal. The menu choices were ok, mostly ordinary. The meals of fish and chicken were good but basic. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambience was very nice. My major issue was the price of wine. An 8 ounce glass of table wine cost $25 for a wine that might cost $15 for a bottle in the LCBO. I find that outrageous.

    All was wonderful with our only disappointment being the waitress serving us. We were the second people in the restaurant at 11:30 for lunch that day so its not like the place was busy. She left us with menus but not a drink menu then disappeared. I actually had to go locate her for one. We started our lunch off with a glass of Persecco each and ordered immediately. While waiting for our lunch we decided we'd like to have a glass of wine with our meal too. She was not around so I had to go find her again. We were not asked during our meal if it was satisfactory until we were almost done. If we had needed anything we would have had to go find her again. I mean, she was a pleasant, attractive young woman just not very attentive. I think for what we were being charged for our meals the service should have been as equally perfect. I would have hated to have been there when you were busy!

    We enjoyed our meal very much. The pickerel was EXCELLENT. All courses were very well presented and vary tasty - with only one exception; the peach pie did not have the expected peach flavour - and probably because peach season is so far behind us now.

    The service was excellent and the food was excellent. My family and I opted to have our early Christmas gathering at the Drake as we felt more comfortable celebrating the festivities where covid precautions are taken very seriously. Very friendly staff as well! The view is impeccable.
