Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food and drinks!
Parking for diner, non-guest is not very clear. Love the food and the table that was provided to us (window table for 2)
Celebrated my birthday breakfast!
The location was lovely by the lake and wish we'd had a spot on the patio as the evening was warm and noise level was much better outdoors. We enjoyed playing table tennis while we waited for our table. Food was a little disappointing. Afraid we could not wholeheartedly recommend the vegetarian options - the chickpea burger and the eggplant dish. Service was great.
We were seated 35 minutes after reservation away from the main dining area beside a computer terminal used by staff. Food came after 1:45 minutes. The first two picks were sold out. Waiter was great but no apology from management. Until the staff shortages are rectified, I would never recommend this place.
Très beau restaurant sur le bord de l’eau. Le décor est magnifique et les plats sont goûteux et généreux !
Lovely dinner on the water
Incredible food, views of Lake Ontario and environment.
Our waiter, a Brit, was attentive and charming despite the pressures on him in a clearly understaffed situation. Food was lukewarm, turkey tough. Our reservation was made well in advance but our table looked like a last minute addition apart from dining room in an alcove to the service area. We moved outside which was lovely but chilly. A heater would have helped. Generally a disappointing night. Would not recommend as good dining but the deck is lovely and probably fine for basic pub food items.
Very good food, price ok but music disco and too loud. Would it be better with ambiance music like spa
The Thanksgivimg menu was amazing and the drinks wonderful as always.
The view from the patiio stunning.
Our server was very nice and professional. Again never disappoints.
A great place to be in PEC. Limited choices on our visit (no lamb..) but an extensive wine list featuring numerous local producers.
I was very disappointed in the menu. The last time we were there, I had a seafood soup that was excellent. This time, there was nothing. My wife and I split a hamburger, had salad and fries. The latter were excellent.
I still have a gift card for $100, but I will be very carefull of the menu selections before I go back
We brunched for my sisters 40th!
Your restaurant is so lovely and your staff was awesome! Brigette made our experience! She was so friendly, gave us great suggestions, took the opportunity to “up-sell” and we went for it!!
Incredible view, great drinks and overall lovely brunch! Worth every penny.
Very expensive but you can’t beat that view. The food was ok and the service was slow. Had to wait over an hour for two breakfasts but we were given complimentary drinks for the wait, which was nice!
It was a cool spot but I would say our server seemed super busy, she took a long time to refill our water and didn't automatically provide a steak knife. Little things but not what I expected. The appetizers were amazing, the mains OK.
Brunch was delicious! Chicken and waffles and the County Breakfast both clearly made with attention to detail and quality ingredients. The jam was so good I asked to buy some!
Really beautiful atmosphere. The food was outstanding. The eggs Benedict and the Drake breakfast were particularly delicious.
This was my second time at the Drake Devonshire. I planned a weekend away in PEC for my fiancé’s 30th birthday and was so excited to get reservations here on the evening of his birthday. Sadly, the place seems to have really gone downhill since the last time I was able to dine here. We waited for some time to be seated while the hostess “checked what tables they had available” - despite having reservations. They also didn’t check for our proof of vaccination although we had it ready with our IDs out.
After we were seated, we waited almost 15 mins to be greeted by our waiter. When he finally came, instead of taking our drinks order, he told us he would be right back after dropping off the bills at the table of 8 next to us. He then proceeded to check out each person at that table - they all paid separately which took a few mins. He then disappeared for another few mins before finally returning to take our drinks order. We waited 30 mins to get WATER. We waited even longer for our drinks. There were many empty tables around us (on a Saturday) so I’m not sure what the issue was. The waiter was apologetic but nothing else was done to make up for the long wait.
The menu was not very exciting. The food was decent but nothing to rave about. It was so cold in the restaurant that we decided to cork our wine bottle and go finish it at our B&B. Overall, I was very disappointed by the whole experience.
Always love coming here for brunch and cocktails!
Went at lunchtime. Limited menu.
Have been before but unfortunately this time didn’t feel like it was back to operating at the previously exceptionally high level.
We sat at a quiet table overlooking the most incredible view of the lake. Pairing the beautiful venue with wonderful food, the Drake restaurant was a real find!
Menu had odd choices.
A $20 burger?? Not worth it and it was only just warm when it arrived.
Server was pleasant but occasionally forgetful.
Dining room was lovely and the view
beautiful but was extremely noisy.
We weren’t in your demographic but we’ve been to many excellent, expensive restaurants that were worth the expense.
We had an excellent brunch. Our food was delicious and the service very good. We were fortunate to be facing the view of the water and to be able to walk out to the water after brunch. The only small criticism was not to be able to park on the premises.
The scenery is amazing - the staff friendly - have to say the meal was okay...didn't have what I went their for, the lamb.
Worst service ever.
Loved the atmosphere but parking was not good. In order to access the restaurant you had to park down the road as their parking lot was only for those staying in the hotel.
Always a good time, food, and service here.
We had a lovely brunch at the Drake Devonshire! The food and service were excellent and we felt very safe (all vaccine status protocols were followed politely but firmly!). Would absolutely recommend as a must do for your time in the County.
Fun , innovative food...try the duck wings, well prepared and delicious. Great spot on the water with patio and live music the night we were there. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and paced the evening perfectly.
Very friendly staff considering some of the rude patrons. They really work hard to please❤️
Loved listening to the Lake Ontario waves while we enjoyed our delicious brunch! Friendly and helpful server!
Poorly organized with one server to too many tables. She was frustrated, it was too obvious. Ruined the atmosphere. Waited 30 minutes to be seated for a table that was empty because the server was overwhelmed. Requested table near window wks before hand which they couldn’t accommodate even though guests were sat into those empty tables while we waited.
Amazing atmosphere and food! Loved the view and the cocktails were delicious!!
We all wanted to sit outside but not possible yet it was not busy outside! So half of us stayed in and the 4 others went out. The staff seemed disorganized as to the available sitting out and what time we could take our seats. This online bking and never able to speak on the phone and bk. and get a better sense of how the establishment is proceeding in these times is unknown. The food is always good and fresh and well presented but accommodating a group up to 12 people not so much. Thanks
Perfect location. Service was good except the drinks were very slow to arrive. Three steaks were a bit overcooked. Staff was very friendly and personable. Quite expensive.
Fabulous food and our server was great! View outstanding! A bit of a wait for our food but worth it!
Food was amazing and the view is incredible!
