   I came here because of Eboni Major, a bourbon blender and phenomenal woman who created a Master Series blend for Dread River. I happened to be in town from Chicago for a work conference, and was super excited to visit this distillery. For dinner I had the pulled pork nachos, which may not sound like much but they it was awesome and I couldn’t even finish it all. The bartender (wish I would have caught his name) was superb and friendly. I had a taste of their bourbon beat and the rocks- pretty good stuff. Then I saw on the menu a lavender old fashioned- freaking fantastic! Highly recommend and also the building is gorgeous.

   Love every visit here and had a ball celebrating my husband’s birthday with friends last night. The atmosphere, service, food, and drinks were everything. They deliver every single time. We love Dread River.

   The food was good. Our candle went out sometime during the meal and it wasn’t lit again, but the servers were all very kind and went out of their way to help. I think they just didn’t want to intrude, but it’s okay.

   My wife and I went here for the Birmingham food week. We were able to get both the appetizers. I enjoyed the Brussels salad more then I did the Reuben rolls. My wife enjoyed the Reuben rolls more. The fish was great. We both enjoyed the Kale very much. The purée they made was good but could have used a bit less orange. The cheesecake was different. Eating it by itself was different, eating it with the ice cream was great. We will be back to try the regular menu.

   The ambiance was fantastic. We had a larger party so we were given a private room off the main hub. This was perfect for our gang. The drinks were unique not just ordinary and we enjoyed seeing the creativity of bartenders. The service from our newly hired waiter was over the top, indicating they train the staff well. This to me is a sign of a fine establishment. We were all hungry and or food and drink arrived quickly. That was important to us. We also loved the food, the corn bread, asian chicken, and Brussel sprouts were fantastic appetizers, and our night kept rolling from there. You cant go wrong with those truffle fries and that burger ! This is a great place for after work, or group gathering! We'll go back for sure! David A - Vestavia

    Awesome experience! Service was beyond exceptional. Menu may seem small but the food was prepared perfectly. I wide variety of drinks were ordered and all were outstanding! We will be back!

    This was our 3rd visit. The food and drinks were phenomenal. Caleb was an excellent host. The burger was quite possibly the best burger I’ve had in Bham. If you have a chance take the tour. We did it the last time we went and it was awesome. KP

    My husband and I absolutely love this place. Their food is some of the best we have had in Birmingham and I absolutely love their drinks. The past couple of times Caleb has been our server and really helped make our experience exceptional.

    As always, our food and drinks were wonderful. The Nashville hot honey chicken bites were delicious and my husband loves his burger. The fries are some of the best you can get in Birmingham, in our opinion. But there wait staff is painfully slow and not attentive at all. Thankfully, the quality of the food and value for what you get makes us able to overlook the slow service.

    We took the distillery tour which was very interesting. Billy was our tour guide. He was great! We especially enjoyed the 6 tastings at the end of the tour. We bought bottles of vodka. Gin and bourbon. Loved the atmosphere. Our table had a couch and 2 wing chairs around it. The food was good too. We had the whiskey burger. Empanadas and crispy chicken. Highly recommend!

    This was our 1st visit. Everything was wonderful. The servers and the general manager were excellent. The food and drinks were delicious. Such a different and eclectic place to have in Birmingham. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fun evening.

    We went for a distillery tour and had a private room for our friend’s bachelorette dinner. Every person that we encountered was nice and attentive. Food and service were both good and different from any other restaurant you may go to. The space is beautiful and definitely a vibe.

    Beautifully decorated and even though the space is large it is broken up into numerous lovely rooms and sections that make you feel like you are in an intimate setting. The design and furnishings are beautiful and harmonious. It’s like having a drink with friends in your own living room…. Or what you would like your home to look like. Lovely.
