    Outstanding service!! Very loud though and tough to have a conversation. Expensive burger doesn't come with any sides. Salad was expensive but didn't present large at all.

    Excellent food! Excellent service! Some customers had their dog indoors and they barked every time someone came through the door but other than that I have nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend and will be going back

    The server was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. All the food was great- like every plate was empty in minutes. The drinks were good too. I did only get two drinks and an appetizer and walked out with a hefty bill- but not to say it wasn’t worth it.

    Food was tasty with the winning plate being the Pan Con Chicharron. Atmosphere was definitely bumping for a Saturday night so it probably wasn’t the best spot for a family dinner (now I know for next time lol.) Wait staff was always available and courteous and food came out super quick. Inside was clean and trendy. Only grievance was the loud music when trying to hold a conversation with family, if I was with friends it would’ve been a totally different case!

    Great place to visit if you’re interested in grading a drink or bite before enjoying the rest of your night on 6th street. Though a bar, this place does not offer traditional bar food, which is a plus. The hood was decent quality, considering it is a bar. Drinks were fantastic. Waitstaff was friendly and responsive.

    Clean, bright and enjoyable. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches in Austin, too 3 easily. Fries were delicious and plentiful. Team working were extremely friendly and enjoyable to speak with, guests were there for all occasions. Easily a new favorite.

    Drinks are on point. Hurricane fries and the chips and salsa were great appetizers! Shrimp tacos were the favorite at our table. Queso fondo was so greasy! It was like a soup of grease. Super loud and hot.

    Visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Austin. Happened upon this restaurant while looking for reservations for dinner. We really enjoyed all of our small plates. One was better than the other. Our server was so nice and don’t forget the cocktails. They are delicious too!

    This bar and restaurant are a hidden gem in Austin. The food was incredible - everything we ordered was better than the last and we loved our waitress too. She was amazing and made us feel right at home (all the way from NJ). I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for flavorful and interesting food. Plus the bar offers everything you'd ever want to find. Awesome night and experience.

    First time out to Drop Kick Cocktail Bar. Food and drinks were both excellent! We had three generations represented, and there was something for everyone. CHIPS & AJI VERDE SALSA and HUANCAINA FRIES to start and CHOCOLATE MOUSSE to finish. All 3 sandwiches were killer.

    My date and I were celebrating some milestones, so went large. We both ordered specialty drinks and then split three vodka rocks and three entrees. Food was surprisingly filling for what felt like small plates when it arrived. The one negative - I knew I was hungry and did not see anything like a small salad to top up an entree. Two entrees was overkill for me, and I can eat. My date ordered the spicy Rockfish Creviche. She is an amazing cook and really enjoyed all its many components from perfectly prepared and flaky fish, cilantro and mint spike, as well as the overall sharpness of the dish. It came with two fried tortillas, and she could not finish it. I had the Woo Burger and Tuna Tostada. Both are full flavored and really I felt full after half the burger. In retrospect, I think you might want to think of the meals as large appetizers that will help you beverage, as the ones we had were very rich and small bites was all that was needed to become satiated. The Woo Burger had two meet patties, and tasted both lean (the meat patties) and creamy (avocado and other garnish). The bun was the only un-original component. And the Tostada was somewhat spicy and reminded me of street food I had in Argentina. Tuna was not overdone and hidden under of layer of sauteed onions or radishes. So, in the mouth the tuna was soft and smooth while the vegetables were crunchy and spiked the dish, leaving a mild flavor of pickle vinegar. Very fresh. As well, the custom drinks were delicious and pleasantly large, and felt more like summer coolers in terms of style. The second disappointments is the size of the pour on vodka rocks. My experience has been the simpler the drink, the more alcohol you get. Not here. A little too frugal in my opinion. Overall, very pleasantly surprised to find a clean, naturally lit venue with a really interesting menu that both was filling, pleased my date's demanding culinary standards, and worth the money.
