   Disappointed | Food = subpar. Ambience = fantastic. Service = fantastic. Food lacked left flavor & presentation; what Italian restaurant charges $5 for a bread basket? Growing up Italian and being familiar with authentic Italian restaurants, I’m a fairly good judge. Went upstairs after, the food looked good up there and was more of a dun/bar atmosphere. We will check that out next and see.

   Very good meal. Servers were very friendly but were inattentive following up on beverage refills. That's really my only complaint with them. I also think they should have a cocktail menu vs. just wine. Some good Italian themed cocktails at such a high-end place should be a normal part of a restaurant experience in my opinion. The calamari, shrimp appetizer was tasty, but was heavily breaded and needed more sauce to soak up the heavy breading. Very tender though. Also lacked capers though it was supposed to be in the dish. All of our entrees were stellar. Chicken wrapped in prosciutto, Barramundi, and the seafood pasta were all excellent (we tried each others). Atmosphere and decor very cool, modern, fun vibe to it. Only complaint is you can barely hear yourself talk. The small space really produced a ton of noise when the restaurant was filled.

   We tried this restaurant because it was noted as hot and new, and let me tell you it delivered on all fronts! We shared the Dua Vino salad as a starter, and asked for the bread of the day. We requested it be grilled and though that’s not how they normally serve it, they did it with a smile and it was outstanding! Made I house and my husband loved the seasoned olive oil dipper! My husband had the chicken Marsala and I wanted the Al Fungi but requested the bucatini noodle instead of the papardelle and they accommodated me with a smile! We were too full for dessert but the cocktails we had were spot on and the wine selection was good. Definitely will go back!

   Food was very good. Prices are what you'd expect for a nicer restaurant. They've done a nice job with extensive remodeling and adding a third floor to the old building. Service was little choppy but did not spoil the evening in any way. It seemed more like the staff still getting its "legs". It's a brand new restaurant so it will take a little time for staff duties and processes to become more routine. Noise level was rather loud. It's nice to see the place full of patrons but it got very noisy. The noise level reminded me of a school lunch room. We had a hard time conversing at our table. Hanging decorative baffles from the high ceiling would probably help a lot. Overall we enjoyed our first ding experience at Dua Vino and look forward to our next!

   They had a new special last night that was a caprese pasta and it was the best thing my wife and I have ever had. I hope they add it to the regular menu! We love Dua Vino!

    Dua Vino is a charming restaurant in South Lyon. We all selected pasta dishes as our main course with added protein, I had the Baci di Mamma and it was delicious. Ambiance is lovely although the noise level is very loud. The wait staff is very attentive, and helpful with food choices. Be sure to have your after-dinner cocktail on the 3rd floor Bar with an overview of the city.

    Beautiful building. I was really looking forward to the food here. The service was good, but the food was fair. I was expecting a high-quality chef-prepared Italian meal, but it wasn't. Probably return for drinks only because the building is so nice.

    Mother’s Day. They brought a rose to each mother at the table. We began with delicious bread and Soup of the day (Roasted Red Pepper Tomato). The Dua Salad (with Salmon) was a fantastic blend of flavor and texture. Two in our group ordered Frutti di Mare, one with pomodoro, the other white garlic sauce. Both were very good. Seafood was perfectly prepared. Presentation and portions of our meals (and those around us) were just right. The decor incorporated the history of the building which added to the uniqueness of the ambiance.

    service was great, food was a little slow coming out I assume because of the crush of people that showed up when they opened. Worth the wait. Food was presented fit for a magazine layout. When we left we took the elevator up to the third floor a have a look. There is a fun looking long bar with high top tables along the windows. We were told the bar menu was different, burgers and bar food. I am eager to go back when the bar is open and sample a burger. Knowing how good the food was downstairs I'm looking forward to it.

    I understand it's a new restaurant but they have some learning yet to do. Our server really didn't know the wines and mixed them up. The salad request was wrong. The barramundi was over cooked and dry. And it took a couple of tries to get sugar for my espresso. If it really wants to be a top end restaurant these and other kinks need to be worked out.

    We were so excited to have a nice Italian restaurant in town. The prices are high, which would be totally fine for a nice meal. But the food was really mediocre. The chicken was breaded and then refrigerated it seemed. It was soggy and tasted like leftovers. The side pasta was simple boxed pasta with a thin, tasteless sauce. The service was great, and the ambiance and decor were also very nice. I would love to try again and I’m hoping for a better experience. I think with the venue and the prices, the quality needs to be there as well. The town could use a high quality restaurant.

    Salmon was good but not the best I've ever had. Chicken pomodoro was tasty but tough to cut, asked for steak knife. Barramundi was very good, as was the pappardelle bolognese. Our server, Jessica, was efficient, professional and friendly. Wine by the glass is expensive, but bottle prices are reasonable. LOVE what they've done with the place! Will definitely go back.

    Pros: Food overall was off the charts good. We were a group of 6 and everyone said their food was great. A few of the dishes that were ordered: Fruitti di Mare, Baci di Mamma, Scallopini di Pollo al Marsala, and the Scallops. Cheesecake - ahmazing! A simple bread basket would have been nice though. The card at the table for my husband’s birthday was a nice touch. Cons: Seating is too close. Very noisy in the bar and restaurant. Not being able to provide cocktails on the main floor is a problem. Your guests can go up, but your waitstaff cannot? Waitstaff should be educated and ready to answer exactly what is offered besides beer and wine. We asked her to explain what “basic cocktails” were offered and she was unsure.

    Extremely loud, very difficult to have a conversation. Bolognese sauce seemed old and the noodles were stuck together, very disappointing. For the price point you think they could have boiled some fresh noodles :( They also cannot make any drinks other than the basics downstairs which is pointless. You literally have a large, full bar upstairs ???
