Excellent service and delicious food. Great ambiance overall. The music selections was great - but a bit loud for conversation. Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant. (Plus, the bathroom (female) was spacious and clean and bright.)

My friend and I arrived early and were escorted to a comfortable table by the window by our host Calicia. We were able to park nearby in metered parking (bring quarters for up to 2 hours). I had the whole steamed red snapper that came with a generous serving of assorted pieces of squash, small slices of corn on cob, slivers of plantin with a light sauce. The side (included) a large serving of rice and black peas. It was delicious. My friend went for a traditional Jamaican dish of oxtail and pig's tail simmered in a light sauce/gravy with extra side included. He also said it was delicious. There is a nice balanced menu that seems to have something for everyone. Five stars for the great host and one of the best "home cooked" meals I have had in any restaurant for years. Everything is fresh and nicely presented. It takes a little extra time to prepare food so if you are in a rush factor this in. We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival.

Everything was good except for the music volume, way too loud more club level then eating and socializing level. Came to eat and enjoy my date, not yell and eat. Other than that we enjoyed the food and drinks and would return. Highly recommend

Went with my wife and another couple. Food was on point and authentic Jamaican fare. The Drinks (rum punch) were great and balanced. The atmosphere is lively with music and conversation at just the right level so you can hear your own. The music provided by the DJ catered to the middle aged crowd. I’ve been patronizing this establishment for years now and so far they have not let me or my guests down. Keep up the good work!!! I H Daniels Jr

Great experience overall. While the music selections were tasteful, the volume was too loud for my liking; we had to shout to hear each other so conversation was difficult. But the service and ambience was great, the food was well-presented and most importantly quite delicious.

Food was great. Had the curried goat and braised ox tails with string beans and carrots. There was a dj (Saturday) so the music was a little too loud for regular conversation. Another night would have been perfect. The restaurant is clean and beautiful. Service was great. Food choices and drinks were awesome. There were several birthday parties while we were there. Would suggest during this forum for the rez because our two seat table was reserved and somewhat out of the way of the press of the crowds.

My friends and I really enjoyed our henny and sorrel cocktails and the delicious apps we ordered. Fantastic food! The music was really good but way too loud. We were sitting towards the back and still had trouble hearing each other speak. we'd love to return but the volume of the music is an issue.
