Earls Kitchen + Bar - Calgary Tin Palace
Meg was sooo good to us! Such a pleasant presence!
She even surprised us with the best deserts ever!
She made the night memorable!
Keep up the good work!
A little bit loud for a lunch meeting but lovely overall.
The salmon I ordered was just a touch overdone, but not too bad. Everything else was fine. It's also too bad that parking out back is not free like it was a few years ago.
Great Service and Food. Excellent place for a business lunch.
Had a great time at the restaurant my wife and I really enjoyed the rissoto and scallops.
It was very good. They were able to accomodate an extra couple to our reservation and we really enjoyed our food, service etc.
Fine meal, slightly overpriced for food but good location and setting
Great outdoor patio - best burgers in Calgary - friendly staff
Service was simply terrible and food was mediocre at best. While it has been years since we last visited Tin Place, the standards and quality unfortunately have not stood the test of time.
Earl’s Tin Palace is one of our favourite places to dine in Calgary. Service is timely, food is excellent and location is easy to get into an out of and prices are reasonable. Overall a Great Evening
Amazing outside patio on a beautiful day
Went for happy hour and the food was quick despite our inattentive server. Luckily a second server or manager stepped in. The table next to us were vaping e-cigarettes on the patio the whole time, even while staff were taking orders at that table, they clearly saw what they were doing. It definitively took away from our enjoyment. The food was fine otherwise, but the experience and vaping at the table next to us kind of ruined it.
Excellent value for brunch happy hour.
Love the food there. We when for a birthday dinner. Have some much fun. Food was great, server was super friendly, the place not a doubt beautiful.
Had a great meal out in the patio!
It was good! The vegetables were a bit wilted (especially the garnish, which must have been microwaved). Otherwise, it was delicious - even though it seemed like leftovers.
Really good as always!
Convenient, good service and good food. will return again soon.
Order the pepper steak ,it was cooked to my liking how ever had to ask that the peppercorn sauce was missing, other wise the meal was to my satisfaction, noise level was uncomfortable.
Last day of school. Took the family, fairly chilly and unwelcome reception upon arrival. Hostess seemed grumpy and irritated.
Server was nice , seemed overwhelmed and the food took way too long, people around us who arrived after us got food before we did. She even explained the kitchen had burned one of our appetizers and it would be 30 seconds, took almost 10 minutes.
I have been in food and beverage my whole life, I certainly understand dinner service and its hurdles, but the food was unremarkable, the timing was way off and the kids sat hungry for too long.
Maybe my family dining expectations are too high or I was in the wrong place but we will certainly not hurry back.
Extremely noisy but good food and service
Our server seemed less than interested in serving us! She did not answer questions about the menu correctly. We asked about the dressing on the lobster salad and she did not know or did not attempt to find out. The food was very average all around. We had to ask for water refills. We wanted to pay with a gift card and after several minutes she nor a manager was able to use it. The explanation by our server was very nonchalant and uncaring as she twirled her hair at the table. Our perception is that she really didn't care about serving us, but was clearly there for the tips. This is not the earls experience that we were expecting.
The waitress was serving to many tables at a time and she didn’t have time for our table.
Earls❤️ Need I say more?😊. We were there with young children and they were catered too also. The only slight problem was the sauce was spicy on the kids’ pizza but it was taken off the bill. Thank you!
My grandson and I had a great meal there. My first time at this location and I was very impressed. Our server was very polite and checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. |The food was very good. My grandson a striploin steak and I had the fettucine alfredo with grilled chicken. My only complaint about the meal was that the chicken was little dry but the alfredo sauce was wonderful. The noise level was not too bad, much better than at other local restaurants and I could hear quite well. I will be back to enjoy this location and to bring my husband. One of my best restaurant experiences since moving to the area.
Nice summer menu and patio ambiance.
I have no words. The food... the service... I can't believe this restaurant is even in operation.
Obviously a bad day at the restaurant. The restaurant was not busy, yet the drink orders were mixed up. Then we waited over a half hour for our meal and it was cold.
Yes they compted the entrees, but we really just wanted to leave and forget the experience.
Earls is consistently good. Pleasant service and good food.
Service was extremely slow. Took half an hour just to get drinks. Ordered low salt due to diet restrictions and food came loaded in salt. Manager came over and was very good at trying to rectify things. Overall not good though.
We ordered the chorizo avocado hash dish and the potatoes were way too greasy.
V relaxed atmosphere which is what we were looking for. Service great, no pressure, relaxed. Wait staff checked on us a few times which was really great. Food here is always good. Drinks r a bit exorbitant, whatcha gonna do......We had a really fun time.
Waitress was excellent, changed one of the orders at the last second, very accommodating. Very polite and friendly, checked on us when needed but not overbearing.
Very cold and unhappy waitress but other than that, a lively place with great affordable food
Great service, quick!
Overall you can expect good food and a nice venue. During our lunch we had 2 server changes, and the service was very slow, parking was also pretty hard to find as well.
Honestly, I was overall disappointed. The food was bland and the prices were high for bland poor presentation of food. Drinks too, outrages. I get business taxes, food etc. has all gone up but I'd rather go spend my money at independent/small business restaurant if I'm paying that much or stay home!
overall it was good, though our waitress wasn’t great. she wasn’t very present at our table and totally ruined her opportunity to increase her drink sales. the table maintenance was also poor, we had a huge pile up of empty glasses.
Went there for Mother's Day Brunch during Earls Brunch Happy Hour. All brunch dishes are $9.75 which is a really good price for what you get.
I had been there before for Brunch Happy Hour and had the Avocado Toast and it was outstanding, this time I decided to try the Chorizo Hash and it was okay, I definitely expected more. The potatoes were good but the dish needed to have some more Hollandaise sauce to make it less dry.
We were sitting at the patio so our server was not around all the time, we had to keep flagging her down when we needed something. Perhaps, there needs to be a designated server or servers for the patio only?
Overall it was good, they also had flowers in the bathroom for the moms.
