went out with my boyfriend for some food. we needed up getting a bunch of plates to share and they were all amazing. we had the hot wings, spinach and cheese dip, yam fries, and chicken tacos. the service was great and we quite enjoyed ourselves. there was a birthday party somewhat near where we were sitting and they were yelling quite loud but we still managed to enjoy our night.
My wife and I went on a date night, we were seated at a 2 person table far against the wall and then forgotten about. After 20 min of waiting we ask the pleasant man pouring water at other tables, if we can get some service. He apologized then disappeared, we sat for another 10 min and decided to get up and leave.
We had a wonderful time a Bridgette bar though!
Our servers were new to the position, which is understandable in this current climate, and a little spilled on the drink deliveries. However, our steaks were to be Medium and arrived medium rare. The truffle butter was a hard slab on the steak. That’s a heads up it was not hot enough. The garlic mash was not very garlicky. The . The buffalo cauliflower bites were tasty, asparagus was spot on as well as the hamburger. The manager was very pleasant and compensated for the steak issues. But the head chef should have been more on point with what was leaving the kitchen because two steaks underdone is not a high five moment.
Date night bs...terrible service....won't be go in ng back and spending hard earned money for that place of crap

Asked for raspberry sauce to be served on the side of ice cream - came on top of ice cream
Double billed on bill - sent back to be corrected

Not the best experience we have had at Earls particularly as this was a birthday celebration
One of the slowest service ever encountered.
Sat for 20mins before I have to flag someone down to take our order. Server was having fun chit chatting at the front. Pay attention to your tables pls.
Never a bad experience at Earls Tin Palace, exceptional service, excellent food!

I just wish they still had butter chicken on the menu for lunch.
I first came here about in the mid 1980s. And then it was the place I took my wife on our first date when we were dating in 1991. I no longer live in Calgary but was back on business and loved being back in the restaurant. Great memories and the food and ambience was excellent.
It was my Birthday, they acknowledge it and were super sweet and sat us at this really nice table in the lounge. Thank you!
Earls is a consistent restaurant that never disappoints.

Overall our experience was good! Earls is always a go to restaurant. The thing that could have made this visit better was our server. Throughout the majority of our visit she seemed uninterested, providing surface level service and conversation

Ask for no butter on steak; plate came with a large slab of butter half melted on steak; my husband requested to send back;,then manager came back to ask if he could remove butter or if we request another steak! He asked politely if we could get another steak which arrived after the rest of our party had finished eating! No apologies and no compensation for the inconvenience of their error
Left a normal tip to waitress who did not make the mistake but no follow from the manager . Normally we would have let it go but it happens often that the order is wrong
Please keep in mind that we are regular weekly clients and have been going to this same restaurant for the last 25 years or so…very poor management unfortunately

When I got there for the reservation they didn’t have a table ready, told me to wait. Service was average. Food was way too salty.

I was out for a special “date night” with my nine year old son. We had a great time. We ordered two desserts and the sous chef came out and surprised us by playing them in a fancy way so we each got our own plate with both desserts. Made us feel really special and made our night!

Food was good but service was poor, in fact I would go as far as to say it was rude. We were only there for one hour and were rushed out despite it being quiet and no where near close. Server took away our glasses of water before we were done and gave us the bill. Would’ve gotten dessert if we weren’t basically kicked out. Can go anywhere else for better service.
Very enjoyable experience , the food , atmosphere and service were all top notch . I would always recommend Earls for any event .

Had a 2pm business meeting for 2. The staff were friendly, attentive and respectful to our privacy.
WORST chicken alfredo EVER, dry pasta and very dry chicken,overall couldn’t eat it and returned, couldn’t even cut through with a fork and knife!!! Get with the program please Earls - for those prices food should be edible

Food have 0 flavour. No seasoning on the shrimp or eggs, bread didn’t work with the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was flavourless as well all in all the meal was not good at all. Earls is one of my favourite places to eat at but will not be going back for breakfast anytime soon.

They have no idea what or why people make an open table reservation. A few times in the past they cancelled or “ no showed “ my reservation
Yesterday I mentioned to the host to not cancel my open table reservation and she still did( I re riced an email from open table confirming my reservation cancellation??!!)
I spoke to the manager about the repetitive mistakes but she also had no knowledge of the open table reservation system

I love the ambiance at Earls Tin Palace, its fresh and open and the staff are so welcoming and helpful.
Our need for care with my partners allergy was handled with truest presence and attention and we have ever had in a restaurant and our experience was highly elevated because the manager Kierra took the time and patience to understand and direct the kitchen staff in a direct and clear way and that made us feel special an greatly improved our meal experience.
We were there late afternoon on a Saturday and will most certainly be returning to enjoy the food and outstanding service provided.

We sat in the lounge for our dinner meal. It was a nice dining experience. Our waitress Gezenia was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the chicken karaage appy and for we dinner we had the chicken and rib combo. All meals were excellent.

This is our favorite Earls in Calgary, we might not get here on a reguliar bases, anytime we do get to visit, we always enjoy and are never disappointed.

We had an great lunch at the Tin Palace. Earls is consistent. Before and after COVID restrictions and shut downs their food, atmosphere, and service has remained excellent. My co-worker and I are similar in that we have our go-to meals we enjoy. It is comforting for me that after everything we’ve all been through, I can count on my chicken Caesar with pan bread. This may seem small but for me it’s significant. Everything was great, the service, the atmosphere, and the food were all excellent.

Ultimately, there are not a whole lot of alternative solutions as we are a downtown location. There is free street parking up the road from us if you'd like to try that next time! Went to Earl's on one of the hottest days for lunch and catch-up. Excellent service but we should have stayed inside as it became too hot and we had to move inside. The staff were excellent in getting us settled at a new inside table and the meal progressed beautifully. One must also commend Earl's on the size of their meal proportions as compared to some other restaurants.
