    I've been dining at Earl's for as long as I can remember, but lately I've been disappointed. The restaurant was only half full at most, but service was slow and it was very noisy. It wasn't busy when we arrived so our orders were taken promptly, but once a few more tables were seated, it was difficult to get the attention of our server. After we paid, we asked for a printed receipt which we had to ask for twice after a very long wait. Although the restaurant is carpeted, we had great trouble hearing each other at our table for two. There was a table of 8 next to us which was very loud but with more soft surfaces, the issue could have been mitigated. Our Hunan Kung Pao bowls were overdressed -- way too much sauce. However, the pumpkin pie and key lime pie were delicious, and the portions very generous.

    Came into town to visit my daughter and have a nice family dinner with my brother and his kids. Had amazing service from Riley. He made sure we had everything we wanted and gave great recommendations!! He was attentive and made sure our experience was great. To greeting us with a smile and being the most friendly, we couldn’t have asked for a better night out. He also surprised us with some dessert for our little occasion.

    We wait for pretty long to get our server to take order. I have to go twice to the reception to ask for our server but still no one showed up until 15 minutes later.

    I visited with four kids for my son’s birthday party. The service was excellent, they even stored the birthday cake in their fridge and served it for dessert. Thank you for helping make a wonderful day even more wonderful!

    We had dinner at the Fir street Earl’s before seeing a show at the Stanley theatre. Food and service was great and we finished in lots of time to go to the show. Good job!

    Was looking forward to eating their signature Caesar salad with Cajun chicken but was very disappointed! The salad arrived very wet and sloppy looking and not the usual fresh and crisp leaves that you would expect for a Caesar salad. I had ordered their Seafood chowder at the same time so was enjoying that first since it was hot. By the time I started my salad it was barely worth eating and I ended up wasting more than half of it. I think they changed the dressing to a vinaigrette style but there was definitely too much mixed in. The server did comp the salad which was nice of him. Service was good overall. Not sure I would return though.
