Earls Kitchen + Bar - Kelowna
Great environment with amazing food and the service was on point.
Great Food. Lobster Salad was heaven. Couldn’t ask for better service and the view felt like we were in the Bahamas. Get the rooftop view if available.
Date night success.
Love the location of Earls. The staff is always great, the food is fabulous and we fully enjoy the atmosphere here.
Great View and I’d highly recommend going.
We’ll be back again.
It is a beautiful location with amazing views. The only downfall is the noise level. It was very busy so it was very loud. But everything else was perfect. Dynamite rolls for an appy were amazing !!!!!
Usually Earls is a go-to for us. The setting is fantastic in the summer (despite the parking). We booked a small group for our daughter’s 15th birthday and unfortunately we won’t be returning. My husband and I arrived first and waited for what seemed an eternity for our drinks, then had to ask another server for cutlery and yet another for side plates for our appies. Our server made a joke about not being busy when she first came out, but we rarely even saw her. The salad was mushy, the pasta was dried out with next to no sauce on two separate orders and then our waitress got an attitude and stomped away when we tipped the minimum...for the minimum service we received. Crappy experience and really too bad, this place does have a great vibe in the summer months.
Everything about this place was great, other then the severe lack of cleanliness in the ladies restrooms! You’d think with all the staff standing at the front chatting with each other they’d have had the time to keep it stocked and clean. It was gross!
I would recommend, but, there should be more variety of seasonal vegetable. I only got 1 type and it was all asparagus. Which was fine I guess but would be nice to have it mixed with other options. Steamed cauliflower, broccoli and carrot with salt pepper and butter would have complimented the meal much more.
My sangria had too much ice and was filled only to about an inch from the top. At a table over I saw anothet girl's sangria drink was served with even less. That was disappointing with the price.
My husband fully enjoyed his bc burger.
We always enjoy going to a earl's. What a location, amazing service, and the drinks menu is always awesome.
Good food and great view
Our server Cassidy, the Horse-Jumping enthusiast, was attentive, unobtrusive, and delighted all of my 4 out of town US first-time visitors to Kelowna. Frankly she had them all saying that if this was Kelowna they are all coming back and bringing their wives along. A lot of people say that but they have actually booked their trips. Of course although I warned them, they found our Canadian drinks a little shy compared to the US vats of booze they were used to...but they adapted with my expenditure of money. 😉 now...the food...: Salmon was way over cooked vs. The specific request of “almost Raw but no more than rare”. Clam chowder was missing clams but had encountered many tomatoes and potatoes...tasted good as a soup BUT was NOT a Clam Chowder. The rest of the food was perfectly fine...no complaints. BIG PROBLEM: where were the Okanagan Valley Wines??? ??? What’s with the Italian, the New Zealand, Australian Stuff. I was VERY VERY disappointed that I could not show off our local excellent wines to them. For that reason alone I will take my business and personal guests elsewhere. (Sorry)☹️
We had a couple incidents, one of us ordered a sangria and it tasted really bad, so ordered another one and the glass was chipped and the drink had a Hair in it. The waitress apologized.
We order food and there was another hair on the chicken 🤦🏽♀️
The waitress kept saying it was odd because none of the staff had hair like that...and she apologized.
I have been going to Earls for many years and this is the first time this happened to me. Accidents happen but we were still Very disappointed.
Fantastic views, service was not great, but considering it was Canada Day weekend, I'd let it slide a little. Great value on Happy Hour.
I ordered a gluten free bun with the Beyond Meat burger. I have been GF for 10 years and that bun and hamburger were the worst I have ever come across. The salad was soaked in dressing with too much vinegar, the calamari was gross, the salt and pepper wings were so salty people couldn't eat them. Overall, our group vowed to never return. Kelowna must have good food somewhere!
Enjoyed our lunch with friends. Quinoa salad was delish! View of lake super and staff very friendly.
We were at Earl's during Happy Hour, so the value was excellent. We like to be able to visit and enjoy a conversation on out outings, but we found it very, very noisy and could only hear the person who sat next to you. Our waitress was fantastic and went out of her way to accommodate our every wish. One of our ladies ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, not realizing that "hot" meant spicy and our waitress replaced it wish another dish of her choice because she wanted us to be happy and enjoy our time at Earl's. She definitely made our meal very enjoyable. If not for the noise level, it would have been an excellent-plus experience.
Me and my wife chose the food from the plant based menu and it was excellent. The young lady service us was execeptional, and the view of Okanagan lake is beautiful. It is quite noisy in there, so its maybe not the place for a quiet dinner.
Can't go wrong at any of the Earl's locations - great selection, consistent quality, and service with a smile!
We had a fantastic meal at Earls. Even better we hit happy hour and saved a little $. Our server was great. She was happy to check in on at just the right frequency, our meals were perfectly prepared. The view was amazing, drinks were cold and our meals were hot. Nothing better!
Everything was greAt for Brunch, with the exception of the fact the eggs were cooked wrong for the second week in a row. If you can’t cook a soft boiled egg, that is pretty incompetent.
We had such a wonderful waitress, super quick and attentive, and very friendly! And the food was fantastic! Definitely want to go again!
Went for a "Fathers day/Birthday" with our 4-year-old and was impressed with the experience. Our waiter was courteous and thoughtful, helped to make our daughter feel welcomed and appreciated, and our meal was awesome! All while overlooking the lake, it was a very nice experience. The only downside is the lack of parking to get there.
Excellent food and service highly recommend
Consistent great tasting food, beverages and atmosphere! Views of the lake, wide variety of menu items for all tastes. Server was good at giving suggestions and our food arrived hot and delicious! Will be back!
Way too noisy. We couldn’t carry on a conversation unless we yelled. Very hard for a table of 4.
Arrived at 6:00 PM Saturday and was advised that a table for four had a wait of 45 to 60 minutes but was seated within a few minutes later with the reservation through OpenTable at a table with a terrific view of the lake, park and city marina.
The service, menu selections, food quality and quantity are all excellent at a great value and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
See my daughter.
The food quality seems to be slipping a little. We used to really enjoy this location as it was comparable to the other restaurants downtown. It doesn’t seem to have the same appeal and the dishes are getting smaller compared to the prices going up. There are other places downtown I would recommend now ahead of Earls.
We are never disappointed when visiting Earl’s. Food is great, view is outstanding and service staff are very friendly.
Had a reservation however and arrived at noon. Food finally arrived at 1:15PM which is unacceptable for working lunch, My Caesar salad was fit for a Rabbit with very little chicken on it. (3 small pieces)
Never disappointed. Good food, atmosphere and service.
This review would have been all fives except the music was really too loud. I get that they like a certain kind of vibe but it is a hindrance to any conversation and that does lessen the enjoyment of the overall experience.
Great Mother's Day out, but was surprised that there was no elevator ( so were my 90+ year old parents !)
Our server, Nicole, was outstanding. Nice venue, good food.
We had a fantastic Mother’s Day the service was great food was great everything was lovely thank you
Nice view, ok service, food was very inconsistent. The steak and coconut prawns is *not* a 30$ dish. Parts were cold and other parts were hot. They definitely use the microwave to bring waiting food back up to temperature and reheat desserts. There are other, better lakeside dining services that I would recommend before Earl's.
It was a beautiful setting and our server was awesome.
We reserved either a window table or patio but were first given an in-restaurant table. We had to ask for a window table, and then they took us to one. There was no mention about the patio. I think they did not read the reservation details.
Great server. Sun was very bright coming in the windows. Street tacos were quite spicy. Too much pesto and not enough shrimp on California Pizza. Still, I would go back and probably have those again. I suppose I go for the location and not so much for the food. I'd like to see more gluten free options.
Great place and perfect view of the lake! It was a little noises in there and I didn’t expect the teriyaki chicken rice bowl to be spicy. But overall, it was a good experience.
Good sunday brunch
Food as always was great, service was good but a little slow to start, we sat for awhile before anyone came to take drink orders. Noise level was high but not enough to prevent us from hearing one another.
