The service was excellent, the food was great and we will be back with family and friends.
Having traveled internationally, the quality of food and service of this restaurant is of a high standard even though the noise level was higher than expected for a business meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Earl's before going to Roy Thomson Hall. The salmon was amazing, the spare ribs were "fall off the bone" and the linguini was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and accommodating. We were certainly glad we had made a reservation as it was a busy place!

First time at Earls glad we made a reservation it was very crowded. We had the fundido dip with chorizo it was delicious. We then had the salmon and the Kung Pao chicken both very good. They have a great drink menu as well. Our server couldn't have been more efficient considering how busy it was she was always very attentive. Would definitely go back!

Lighting very dim that you can hardly see the contents of the menu. Vegetable bland taste. The jerk chicken i ordered is too spicy and does not taste right(fusion i guess). For the price of the food vs. Quality, pretty disappointing. That is too bad since we only had an average expectation of the venue and yet still came up short.
This place is only good for cocktail and appetizers.

great downtown resto. very vibrant vibe.
waitress was quite accommodating

pricing was maybe a bit high and there were some clear upsells... but in line with other downtown options.

Unremarkable food (though the calamari were excellent). Our server, Annie, was very pleasant and attentive, which allowed us to focus on catching up with each other. Nice evening.

Great downtown location, atmosphere and menu for business lunch, dinner or drinks. Love the patio. Tried the new swordfish tacos. Though tasty, could be improved with a slightly larger portion of protein, better dressed, better prepared to produce a tender bite. My guest had the old standby cajun chicken declaring it to be excellent. Service was also excellent, well-timed and pleasant. The patio is attractively laid out with a variety of seating options. Overhead toasters work well to overcome a slight chill. Would like to try after hours with family dining.

The food was good, hot and reasonably quick. We had a minor issue with the order which was quickly corrected and over all we had a good time.

This is a good place for a business lunch, with a wide selection of menu items. My warm kale salad was delicious. However, I would have expected the waitress to be friendlier than just taking the order, refilling the water and never asking if we enjoyed the food or if we needed anything during the meal. We basically lost her after another person brought us our lunch until when she brought the bill to our table.

The resturant is beautiful the food was amazing and the front staff was very friendly. Our server were very nice and knowledgable however she took a bit long at times to return to the table, other than that her service was great. The only thing that was very disappointing to us was that Earls does nothing for Birthdays. Also the part I dont understand is when making the reservation why do you all have the option to select birthday or a specialy occasion when you dont offer anything for it? Almost all other resturants gives a dessert with a canadle or something for choosing their resturant to celebrate ones birthday or special occasion but this resturant gives nothing. Thats was very disappointing. Other than that the experience was very good.

We were there to celebrate a friend who recently had gotten her PHD and accepted a job working overseas. Earls is usually a great experience , however, today it felt like our server was kind of rushing us out.

This was for my mom's 75th birthday and she came from the suburbs. Both her and my sister's first time at Earls (I was there just last weekend with a friend on the patio for dinner). They really liked their meals (steak and salmon) and thought the atmosphere was good.. a mix of ages, not too loud.

My only suggestion would be that our server took away both my mom and sisters' plate and I was still eating. She asked them if they wanted coffee or dessert. She should have waited until I was finished my dinner before offering coffee / dessert.

Came here before concert at The Roy Thompson Hall. Food was outstanding.
My husband had the salmon and sushi combo (great); I had steak frites which was amazing. Exceptional sauce bordelaise (well worth the extra charge). Best sauce for steaks frites I've ever had!!!
Service was superb. Our waitress was attentive and so sweet. She promised we'd be through in plenty of time for the concert. She was right!
My only complaint was the noise level-----the loud music and the high volume from patrons conversations was over-powering. Still, a great place for dinner. We recommend Earls
