Earls Kitchen + Bar - King Street Ratings and Reviews
Great food, great service. Their burger is awesome.
My first time and it was an amazing experience. Appetizers came so fast! The server waited until we were done to bring out our main meal. Receptive and sweet server! 10/10 I will definitely come back. Loved the salmon and dynamite roll sushi.
Not our first time at Earl’s and there isn’t a single negative comment to make about this restaurant. Food is so great we revisit just to try to go through the entire menu. The entire staff is amazing, and really friendly.
Valentine’s Day. Food was good , drinks where awesome . Would go back.
Great deal on brunch - $8 entrees, $5 drinks during Brunch “Happy Hour” (11a-12p Sat & Sun). Service and food was good. Much quieter in the bar area for brunch than at night but I love Earl’s. It’s one of my favorite places to eat in TO.
Always a great experience and great food. All the staff working in the floor made sure we were ok even though they weren't serving us Earls definitely has exceptional service and amazing food!!!
I came here for my birthday and everyone loved the food and ambience! The service was also excellent and we were well taken care of by the friendly servers.
Brunch in the bar area. Good ambience, good food great service!
Great lunch experience. Service was the best ever, which made for a fabulous experience. Nicole was probably one of best I have ever encountered for customer service - when I come back, I will ask to be seated in her section. Food was very good too. I will be back..... soon!
Came to Toronto for an anniversary weekend getaway and chose Earl's for our special date night! Was recommended to go by a friend and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and we felt apart of the Toronto scene at this restaurant! Only wish there was an Earl's where we live!!
We go to Earls whenever we are in Toronto. It is a great place for dining as a couple or with friends. I love the burgers they are always cooked well and the presentation is always amazing. My husband loves the curry bowl called Jeerha which he had at this visit.
Always a really friendly welcome and the waiting staff are very friendly , efficient and knowledgeable. On this occasion our server was called Ghyes a great young man.
We look forward to going back again.
One of my favourite wines is on the list a Rose La Vielle Ferme.
It's a really good place to have dinner there. The waiter, Eric, was really nice and attentive making suggestions when we asked for them. The only bad thing that I can say is that there was a noisy group.
In summary, I recommend the restaurant if you want to eat great food for good price.
Music was too loud for conversation. It then makes everyone around you talk louder and the noise increases. Great for a quick drink and bite but for dinner and conversation, not so much.
Fantastic food and service!
We often go to Earls before the Symphony and always enjoy the experience.
We have been to earls many many times now and the two things I would recommend are the ribs, they are the best ribs I have ever eaten, they also just fall off the bone. Also the fettuccine alfredo, it is the perfect cheat meal, the noodles were cooked to perfection and the sauce, oh the sauce I just wanted to lick it off my plate.
Loved the Quinoi-Avocao Power Bowl and service was prompt and excellent. Will definitely return!
The restaurant was good but for the first time in my life I was completely disappointed by the service. Our server appeared to be intoxicated. She was very slow, kept forgetting things before reaching our table and running the other way, leaned on the table quite a few times... The worst part came when we ordered our food. She made fun of my friend's preferences and requests regarding her meal and completely disregarded them when her food arrived, and, to add insult to injury, forgot that I had ordered gluten free pasta. Not only did she forget but she point blank denied it, which is a HUGE no-no in the restaurant industry. If I hadn't asked her when she brought it to the table I would've been incredibly sick.
I've worked as a server before and I have celiac disease. I understand that it's okay to make a mistake every once in a while, but you cannot mess up special requests regarding health and dietary concerns, let alone lie and say it was the customer's fault. Everybody else at the table was aware that I had specifically requested GF pasta while looking straight at her, and then she proceeded to write it down on a piece of paper. She didn't even apologize. All she said was "you didn't ask for gluten free pasta". I had to wait an extra 25 minutes for my plate. I am a very reasonable person and I understand the job of a server might be a little bit stressful and things can easily be forgotten, but her attitude when we were one of the only two tables she was attending on a Sunday night really put a dent to my whole evening. The menu was pretty decent and the restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere, but I don't think I will ever be coming back.
Food was awesome a bit noisy waitress was lovely x
Friend loves this place in Boston.
Excellent cuisine and service is outstanding. Music is too loud - makes it difficult to carry on a conversation.
Four of the five entrees were very good but the fifth had to be returned since fish was undercooked. Our waitress was excellent great and offered a free salad while we waited for the fish to be cooked and we also ended up not having to pay for it. The male waiter who assisted was OK but need some training on how to properly deliver a meal (you don't push it across the table). Place has a great atmosphere but can get very loud making conversation across the table very difficult.
Our server Dylan was fantastic. The food was delicious and overall out party had a great time.
Friendly and knowledgeable service; wide variety of excellent food, including light options and steak options; good beer selection; and a great "buzz" at lunch time and after work.
Good spot great food great service
The best warm kale salad I have had, can be a little light on the brussel sprouts though.
Always love Earls however discovered that this location has a different menu from other locations and is missing a couple of our favourites (brie chicken sandwich). Also no kids menu and we were there for brunch before going to see The Lorax at the Royal Alex theatre
The steak and frites was very disappointing, the steak was not high quality and the fries seemed frozen , no appeal either as it was just a whole bunch of fries and and a steak on a white plate , would think for the price it would look more appetizing, also ordered the dynamite roll and the rice was hard and it did not seem fresh , service however was amazing
AMAZING food and drinks!! also had absolutely fantastic service!!! Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and how good it was!! Very impressed. Had really cool drinks too! Awesome specials on the drinks and such a cool environment to enjoy them in. I highly recommend Earl’s for really any occasion. I will definitely be coming back!!!
It’s such a wonderful place , with such beautiful people, it makes the meals just delightful. Thank you Elizabeth, the lunch manager for being so attentive.....its personal touches like that that make Earls not only cool, but so worth time well
spent with friends, over the BEST bloody Caesar’s and sweet potatoes fries...ever. Always a treat and money well spent on service, value and energy. Feel good, well fed !
Good variety in lunch menu. Nice ambiance. Friendly wait staff.
Went there for lunch. Menu was pretty minimal -- there is more of an emphasis on booze than on food. Had a burger with fries -- hard to mess up. Fries were lukewarm when they got to the table. Bun fell apart in my hand. So Earl's messed it up.
Also very noisy.
Server was very pleasant and attentive.
It was nice business lunch with partner. Service was excellent, food was excellent (Salmon and ribs). I will recommended you for sure.
Food and service is good but it's way too noisy too enjoy conversation.
Best cocktails in Toronto
Very knowledgeable about the menu
Stopped in for lunch before the theatre, good pick for the Mirvish subscription discount card. We all ordered hamburgers, very good, especially enjoyed the garden salad. Will return.
There were six of us at a business lunch and we all enjoyed our respective meals very much. The portions are generous and the service was attentive. We sat in the lounge area and it was a challenge to hear people across the table.
All was good but a bit loud - understandable
2nd time to Earls and we were thoroughly impressed. Brought my whole family and they raved about the food, atmosphere and washrooms were super clean. A great dining experience. We'll be back.
Our server and everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. One of the first restaurants where we didn't have to send our steaks back to be cooked more, they were perfect the first time. Warm potatoes salad is to die for and the whole family had a wonderful time and experience! Thank you for the wonderful service and experience.
