Earls Kitchen + Bar - King Street
Service was kind of slow. Drinks took too long
The dining area is too loud and the sun was bouncing off a window out side. Th reflection was pretty blinding. ...something needs to be done to dampen the sound in there as well. The food was good and the service was excellent but that dining room makes for a super unpleasant experience - especially if you're with clients.
The waitress Emily we had was atrocious. She was rude and was discriminatory against a speech impediment I had calling me drunk instead. We went there for my friends birthday dinner and it was the biggest mistake we made. When asked for the manager he was no help nor made the situation any better. The staff was absolutely awful. Very disappointed and upset with the service. Would never go back.
Brunch very good.
Ambience very good.
A little cold on the patio with the wind this Sunday but patio heaters compensated for that.
Also it a little quieter than the middle of the week.
But far easier to park on Sunday.
If you can get here on time, come for the early bird brunch specials.
Though the atmosphere was very nice and we had a good seat (we made reservations ahead of time), the food wasn’t too good, and for the pizza, it’s a thin cracker-like crust. Not worth it in my opinion for $20. My friends got other things and they said it was pretty good. Our waiter was friendly.
We tried Earls after a long day of touring Niagara Falls. We enjoyed our drinks and our meal. We tried the Teriyaki Chicken Rice Bowl and the Chicken Tacos. Both were very good! This is a real happening place with a big crowd on a Friday night. I would definitely recommend trying!
Food and service were both fantastic. Dining area was way too noisy. Very hard to carry on a simple conversation.
Food was good and came quick. Drink was refilled without asking
A little too loud
Earls does not let you down.
The food was great. Drinks were very good.
Server was excellent,
Nothing to not like.
Noise level is quit loud but if this is the only thing to complain about.
What do you expect when sitting in Toronto's best outside patio?
We could stay as long as we required after having eaten. The patio is nice within the downtown area.
My friends and I had an amazing time at Earls this sunday. Our server was very friendly and approachable and the food was delicious!
Great patio and able to accommodate a large party.
Great lunch spot. Food is great and very friendly staff.
Great food and service. I brought some clients for lunch and it went very well. Thank you!
I had the Santa fe salad. It was soggy :( too much dressing I suppose. Disappointing considering the price @$19.50.
We really enjoyed the food. We were celebrating a 60th birthday and the birthday card from the restaurant was a nice touch although a free dessert would have been nice. It was very loud in the dining room and difficult to hear conversation at the table.
Excellent table on patio.
Brunch selections very good.
Bloody Caesar drink special on Sunday highly recommended.
It would be nice if you even give a slice of cake for someone's birthday...
For a normal fancy lunch or dinner, this place is beautiful and fairly affordable.
The overall service was good but i did not like the presentation of the food. We ordered Chilli chicken but it was too sweet instead of spicy.
Drinks were good and overall ambiance was great.
Server was awesome!!! He was prompt, interactive and friendly. Hope to have him again as our server because we will be back :-) Great to have made it in time for Happy Hour. The food was plentiful and delicious and varied for a good price.
Great experience! Took my mom here before her first baseball game!! Great service! Everything was great!
We had a nice table. No wait..
Waitress was excellent.
Earls did its'best and did not disappoint.
The waitress forgot about our table of 5 so it took a long time before we got to order. The food came quickly however they forgot to bring one of the sides we ordered and it was difficult to get the waitresses attention again for this. Also, they don’t do anything for birthdays which most other restaurants do. Other Earls are better than this location
Server was prompt, friendly, and happy to make meal suggestions. Food was delicious.
Our waitress, Jo, was cheerful and helpful. Both our lunch choices were excellent, as was the wine. Seated on the patio next to University Avenue was, at times, a bit loud. Suggest choosing a patio table a bit farther away from the King & University intersection...
Loved the atmosphere but the service could have been stepped up a bit
Great! But noisy.
Had the most amazing meal with my family from Ireland! Would highly recommend! Our waiter Brandon was amazing!
Girls get together.... Excellent over all!
This is the third time in two months I have been to Earls and I asked for a capuchino and the machine wasn’t working. Perhaps you need a new machine.
We had a lovely table outside and the steak was great!!
Arrived late for our reso and they still managed to accommodate my boyfriend abd I! amazing server, great food, sweet deals on drinks, overall great night
Great ambiance, good variety on the menu; a little overpriced but still worth it
Love coming here for weekend brunch! It’s like a completely different vibe on the summer weekend patios!!!
Great location, right in the middle of things. The checkin experience was a bit chaotic as there were renovations going on: 4 flustered people behind the desk. Lively bar area and great table service.
We had a terrible experience and I have been in touch with head office.
Not sure if it's because half of the area is under construction or what but the server put cramped the 6 of us at a semi-circle table.. Not even enough to put our dishes on the table and only have 4 settings instead of 6 until we asked for another 2 sets. Clearly the table was meant for 4.
service was a bit slow... but excellent (thanks for the drink refil… you read my mind!)
Food was tasty and well presented, but maybe a bit lack-luster and unfulfilling relative to price/expectations.
location is amazing and the space is beautiful... but it is super busy, so be warned.
Was good. Only criticism was time available online and then when we arrived, lots of tables available at a later reservation time which was our preference
