Earls Kitchen + Bar - King Street
Monday-Friday: 11:30am - 5:00pm
Daily: 5:00pm - 2:00am
I went for lunch and its been a while, I was disappointed there were no sandwiches. You used to have a chicken or turkey, don't recall which, with apples and cheese. There were not enough "lite" lunch type options other than salad. But I love Earl's and the patio on King St. in particular.
Average food and drink at best . Nothing exciting and not living up to expectations . Nothing horrible either but I would not spend money there given the many alternatives
We enjoyed a terrific dinner before our TIFF movie. We sat on the patio that was lovely and airy. The welcome greeting, table service and dinner were exceptional. Thank you!
Great service and good atmosphere. Food is excellent
Exceptional prompt service. Fabulous Saturday brunch.
Loved the restaurant but the music was much too loud to carry on a conversation with friends.
Soup of the day was great with general menu good selections.
Service was quite slow. It took average of 15-20 minutes each time for food to to be ordered, arrive and get the bill. Not the best for business lunch meetings in the open seating (a bit too loud to hear my companion across the table), maybe if in a booth or tucked in a corner would have been better for noise level.
We had an absolutely terrible experience and the tables all around us were experiencing the same experiences. This was so poor that they ending up only charging us for the 2 glasses of wine ($30 x2) and all 6 of our dinners were free, still would not recommend this restaurant at all. This was a special occasion 50th birthday during a weekend visiting Toronto, turned our terrible. I have never given a poor review or any review but I could not let this pass.
our server was young and lovely and friendly but not very attentive to us, we were waiting for her at various times during our meal
I love the Sticky Toffee Pudding, 2nd time I ordered this (and I don't order dessert very often)
fish tacos were good (I think I prefer a flakier fish rather than the meaty sword fish)
Drink was delicious (Dark and Stormy)
Atmosphere is lively and fun, it was during TIFF so was an excited vibe there
Wonderful! Would come here again.
Excellent service and good food. Lots of variety to choose from.
I had a salmon rice bowl entree and it was quite tasty. I thought it was a bit overpriced for the ingredients but I recognize that the location dictates food prices.
The biggest criticism I have about the restaurant is the noise. It's just too noisy, period. You simply can't have a conversation without raising your voice, and that gets tedious.
Anyway, it's handy to my office and the food's usually fine, so... that's that. Thanks very much.
Food was great, recommend the chicken and crispy wontons! The Rosé sangria was amazing!
Went there for a Sunday brunch birthday occasion. Not really set up for brunch, food just ok. Service was good.
Good menu with lots of choices. Prices reasonable for a midtown restaurant. Our server, Sarah M, was very professional, friendly, and didn’t hover over us.
Great location for dinner before theatre. Excellent food and service !
After an initial issue with our reservation, we had an enjoyable meal. There was a good choice of menu with a few different items to choose from away from the usual burgers and steaks. The choice of beer was also good.
As always they have great service food and drinks. All paired with amazing ambiance and location. Thank you for a great evening!
Great experience and food
Very good food, wish the server could pay more attention to our needs though...
Waiter was extremely slow and not friendly. We waited almost 45min. before he came back to take our dinner order.
I love Earls! Great restaurant with great service!
Been here a couple of times now. Always busy. Good food and service
Our first time here. We had brunch with friends and really enjoyed Earls.
We were going to the Royal Alex and googled ‘nearby eateries.’ Earl’s came up and everyone in our party was very happy with my choice. We’ll be back and recommend you to others!!!
If you're looking for a place to have chat with friends and catch up - this isn't it! Way too noisy and very hard to hear the person beside you. Food was great as was the service but I won't go back.
Laura was such an awesome host. Honestly earls is like my wife's and I favorite place to go and host our friends and family. Also, they have an old fashioned that's off the menu, and they always make it on request for me.
One of the best spots in Toronto for any occasion!!
The waiter Kice was very nice though too busy he forgot some of our orders. Waiter was available but not present-we didn’t have a hunane connection. Though he seemed nice but we lacked rapport.
The ambience is great. Food was great. However, they put my friend’s take home food in foil. Not good.
Good for get togethers. It’s too loud for a date. I was there with a group of friends we didn’t mind the noise.
Need to work more on customer service. They didn’t acknowledge that I was there celebrating my birthday. A waitress told us she was too busy to take a picture of me and my friends.
Overall its ok if u looking to turn up after work or for drinks as a get together.
We really enjoyed our dining experience here. We had the shrimp appetizer and our friends had the shrimp and the bread appetizers. All of it was delicious. We then had the penne, the ribs, Cajun chicken sandwich and the fish tacos. Each of us enjoyed our chosen entree. There yam fries were also great. Service was quick and efficient. Will definitely return to this restaurant.
The food very delicious and the hostess was very friendly and environment was vibrant! Happy hour very good choice and nice cocktail 🍹!
Good spot fur business meeting
Tasty food choices, nice outdoor seating, vibrant crowd, smart selection wines and excellent service. Will be back.
French fries were cold. Sent them back to the kitchen...came back to me cold again. My uncle had breakfast and did not receive bacon with his meal but others who ordered the same thing did receive bacon. Sloppy work by the kitchen staff for a Sunday noon hour.
Service was great. Good food selection on the menu. Food looked and tasted great. Good location with parking and theatres nearby. The location was clean and not too crowded or noisy while we were there from 5:30 to 7:45 pm on a Saturday. Would recommend to family or friends especially if attending a theatre nearby.
Our first visit to Earls was fabulous - we will definitely be back!
Great time all around. Very nice and professional staff who are polite and attentive. Food awesome
Fun place, good food, lively ambiance . If you want to ensure your group enjoys an energetic night out then Earl's is your place to go.
Laura is a phenomenal server! She was attentive and engaging the whole night, which made for an above and beyond experience. The streak frites and the warm artichoke dip tasted amazing and Earls is now my new go-to spot!
Way too loud. I had to keep saying what did you say to the people directly in front of me. When you meet to catch up with friends you want to hear what they are saying!
Great find in Downtown Toronto - still good value for money in classy surroundings... Fish Tacos were best I had in looong time!!!
