I gave it another shot but still not impressed by the service....firstly, if you make a reso you shouldn't have to wait for your table to be cleaned. 8mins to get a drink order but the food came fast when I said we were in no rush....

My husband loved the steak and tortellini, and I had the 6oz. steak frites. Although tasty, it was very expensive for the portion size and the lack of vegetables. The frisée accompaniment was rather sad - too small and poorly presented. Waitstaff were friendly and competent but used typical ‘waitstaff-ese’ (“Hi, I’m X, I’m gonna be looking after you tonight [like I’m incapable of navigating a menu]. Are we looking to start off with a drink?”) It’s scripted and silly.

I was having dinner with my 40 year old daughter before going to a movie. We reserved a booth but they wanted to give us a high top on the bar. We did get a booth. We waited about 5 minutes to get our waitress. We advised her we needed to be out by a certain time due to going to a movie. By the end of the visit, the food was over cooked and cold. The waitress never returned so we could not get new meals. We had to flag down another person to get our chit which was now 10 minutes after our time. The answer we received was that ‘ there are a lot of people going to the movies’. Poor service. Poor food. I would not suggest this restaurant in the future. There are too many other choices for quality and value.

Great service but the servers worked so hard. Not hard to tell restaurant was understaffed. Loved the food but a bit pricey compared to other restaurants. Great experience tho!

The staff was great but the food service was really slow. There was a table of new staff trainees of the restaurant who were seated after us, served well before. We had to ask if server three times to check in our food. Lunch took over an hour

Met a friend from out of town at Earls. It was awesome. We were there for 3 hours enjoying appetizer, entrees and dessert and of course a beverage. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. We did not feel rushed at all. The food amazing. The sticky toffee pudding soooo good. The warm spinach three cheese dip was amazing. All round a great experience.

went for my fiancés birthday and had a great time. the service was great even on an extremely busy night. our hostess shelbey went above and beyond providing us with amazing service. we got billed for a complimentary cheesecake because of his birthday and she did so much as to running outside the restaurant to our car to refund us for it. amazing service.

Service was awesome and very attentive. A little disappoints by the drinks as they didn’t seem to be very much (my sangria seemed to be mostly ice? With very few fruit pieces inside). The food was decent , nothing special. However the crème brulee was delicious!!!

Delicious food! Service was a bit slow but it was a prime time on a Friday. Definitely will go back. Calamari was delicious and steaks done to perfection!

Very nice dinner out for a birthday celebration. Service was excellent. We had a variety of dishes that were all very good. Portions were big. We also enjoyed appetizers and a few desserts, which were all excellent. The restaurant was noisy, but no way around the really, with the arrangement of tables.

Excellent service from staff. Our waitress was exceptional! Very nice and helpful. Woman who seated us was also lovely. Food was excellent and they accommodated a couple of requests I had. Very clean restaurant and sparkling washroom. Was surprised at how clean a restaurant washroom was! My elderly mother and 13-year-old both enjoyed their meals and the experience. Would highly recommend.

We went to Earls to celebrate a family birthday. From the moment we walked in to the time we walked out service was excellent. The food was excellent everything was cooked to each individual’s request. Presentation and tasted was worth every dollar spent. They gave everyone a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate my family members birthday. I highly recommend Earls for any occasion.

Our server was fantastic with our large group. Only wish her check in for second drinks was a bit quicker, and more table water could have been good. But we all enjoyed our meals without an complaints. Great birthday celebration.

We booked a reservation for 815pm on January 6th. Called at 730pm to say we may be running behind 5 or 10 min. They said no troubles we will hold the table for you. We arrived at 820pm and waited approximately 15 minutes to get a table. The server and manager were great, they got our drinks and orders quickly. Food came out quickly and well cooked. I feel the food has gone down in quality substantially. Earls used to be our favourite restaurant, but we will only be back again because we have a gift card to use up. The value is not like it used to be, it now reminds me of a more expensive, classier Crabby Jobs.

Lovely ambience, great food, and outstanding service. Only reason for 4-star rating is that the food arrived warm (not hot) and the huge white wrapped thing (all the patio furniture perhaps?) on the patio was very distracting and definitely detracted from the overall setting (as it could even be seen from inside the restaurant).
