We tried the happy hour breakfast special, the food is good, the restaurant is comfortable and the people are friendly. Great experience for having the breakfast in Earl.
Wanted to have a final dinner at a great location. will check out the new one when opened.
We decided to celebrate saint Valentine’s day at Earl’s in North Vancouver, as always in this restaurant we had a great time, courteous service, tasty food and fun ambiance make this restaurant one of our favourites.
I strongly recommend it’s sticky tuffy pudding dessert.
We learned in this visit that this Earl’s location is going to close in April and they are moving to a new property just a few kilometres away, I hope that it keeps being the excellent option it has always been and wish them good luck.
Great food. Try the coconut prawn appetizer - so delicious and great small slaw that comes with it. Ribs great as usual. My son's birthday was fantastic with their chocolate cake and ice cream!
Excellent value and varied menu , food tasty and fresh. Service by Danika was superb.
Service and food are always great.
I look forward to your new spot.
Our serving personnel were really friendly and very helpful with the menu
IT was good. To bad it's closed now. Have not tried Ambleside.
We had a family gathering for my mom’s birthday. Our server was simply amazing, loved her energy, her service, she was just amazing. Food was great, have always loved the food there. Our server was on top of it all night. She made sure everything was the way it should be.
This Earls ha amazing staff. Really above and beyond. Excellent brunch and all of our meals were delicious! Thanks to an excellent staff!
Great vibe, amazing staff and the food to back it up, positive experience can't wait to go back again soon...
Our server was fabulous but my warm kale salad wasn’t that great-needed another ingredient!
Not a great experience. Went for my birthday and waiter was not on top of things. He argued with guest about their meals when two salads came out without chicken and spilled water on my Grandma and in her purse. He wasn’t attentive enough.
Awesome cozy place with nice people working there. :-)
We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The staff was efficient and personable. The manager was especially helpful with advice concerning travel to the Vancouver Island . We returned to the restaurant two nights in a row because we were so happy with the food and the service.
I am a regular as earls and love it. Great staff and food. Love the patio.
The only issue is that I was supposed to create a nickname and don't want to do that :(
Special occasion of being able to have dinner as a family with our 19 & 17 year old. LOL
Picked earls for menu to suit each of our preferences.
Great service by our male waiter who was very knowledgable regarding my daughter vegan needs.
And enjoyed patio seating as it was not noisy like inside restaurant.
Our service was sub par, they did not bring us side plates and we ordered dry ribs. We had to put the bones on napkins. We were not given cutlery until we asked for it. There was no lighting on the patio. The server rushed us out because they were having a staff party. They knew it was a special occasion (60th birthday) and nothing was done to acknowledge that.
We don't go to Earl's often and we're thankful we had a gift card.
I was in a wedding party and we all needed to grab some lunch after taking photos so we decided on Earls in North Van. I was pleased that they were able to seat a group of 8 without notice much notice on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Everyone was really nice and it was a great atmosphere to step into. To top it off, the manager very generously and unexpectedly offered to take care of our meal for us. We were all taken aback by the incredibly kind gift, and it was an amazing way to start off the wedding day for the bride and groom.
I've always enjoyed Earls, and it's these kinds of gestures that really separate a good restaurant from a great one.
Great food with good overall service. Pretty diverse menu with multiple options.
Waiter asked if ready to order? We did not have menus, offer of drinks, or any chef specials. End of meal coffees were luke warm and stale.
Great meal, but like my food piping hot, it was served warm. A/C was on very low, we all felt cold.
The 3 to 6 happy hour menu is tasty and attractively priced.
We returned after nearly a year from being disappointed by the food.
We decided to give it another go now that the weather is on the improve.
Food once again was average and minimal for the price. Some of the meals seem to be decreasing in size and taste.
Overall another disappointing meal there.
We love this restaurant food, service and ambiance and there is nothing I would change
Food was poor. We both had the half-ribs order which came with potato salad smothered in mayonnaise and coleslaw, also smothered in mayonnaise, both of which were white and all together not very appetizing. One of the half-rib orders had only four ribs and very skimpy meat quantity; the other was ok.
This is one of my favourite places to have a peaceful and fun dinner with my wife. The ambiance is elegant and fun, the menu is interesting, service and food outstanding; we both ordered chicken pibol tacos and they were as good as in Yucatán Mexico.
