Booked a winter wonderland lounge experience. When we went to our reservation we were seated at a table inside. When I asked about our booking I was told there was a private function so the experience was not available. That experience was the only reason why we went. Our night was centered around that experience. A special date night was not what we were expecting. Very disappointed with how it all happened.

The food and service was great. The daily special food and drink were good value, the regular price for a glass of wine is way too much. It's an issue I have with some restaurants in town. We have good local wines ,but $20.75 plus tax and tip for a 9oz glass of wine?

Had a great time at Earl’s. Excellent service. Great meal. Ordered the Surf and Turf with shrimp. Server suggested the Cajun Shrimp and that made it perfect. Cold beer and a cool atmosphere. Oh and the wife loved it too!!!

Overall we enjoy coming to this location in Penticton for special occasions like two different birthdays recently. We were all surprised though on two aspects...a simple Shirley Temple was 5 bucks! PLUS TAX! That was crazy high pricing and not even a refill offered! Plus no free bday small dessert offered to the bday person of the party...? We asked and a big fat NO it was. For these two aspects I cannot go higher than 4 of 5 stars.

I had the classic Benedict and I have to say that it was by far the best I’ve ever had. Potatoes pavé were a decadent upgrade from plain old potatoes. Would highly recommend a Benny from earls

Nice service overall but slow off the start to just see a server show up and seemed short staffed inside. Very good happy hr deals and on a Sat too! To have more than just ONE single sports event on only would have been beneficial! Plus I could barley hear the music. So, overall, 4 stars.

The new seating arrangement provides no space between tables. Our table had two parties very close to us on either side. We were sitting on the right side of the bar as you come in. We asked to sit in the dining room or a booth, but the hostess told us no. Then 5 minutes after we sat down they sat people in the dining room?? Reservation Time 4:45pm. Sunday. Just wondering why the hostess didn't allow us more options for seating??

What a great meal and service only complaint we had was the vodka in our drinks was smirnoff vodka we prefer a higher end vodka beyond that it was fabulous

Among the four of us, two thought Earl's was the best restaurant of our trip. The food was not only delicious, but presented absolutely beautifully. We actually had two servers. Our first left after initial drinks and appetizers; we made sure to close her out and tip her well. Our second was a little more layback, not quite as attentive as the first. The only flaw, and that was minor, was that the steaks were not quite prepared properly. My friend and I actually swapped steaks because I preferred the cook on her and she preferred mine. Would highly recommend.

Very low back booths and large group bench booths with multiple separated tables - no privacy. Reservation was for our anniversary, this Earls was our first date location and we have come back each year. With the new (ridiculous) dining room layout and bench seating, we basically had a couple with 2 small children sitting at our table with us and another couple behind my spouse which one for that table would continually put his arm over the back of his seat into our space because the booth seats are so low - very disappointed, worst restaurant design and will not be returning, we will find another anniversary spot.

Great service and the food came in a timely fashion. The food was excellent as always. We did think that the wine was too pricey. We would have had 2 glasses each but not at $17+ a glass.

Our food was delicious! The noise level was very high, so not as relaxing as we would have liked.. We arrive a few mins before 5 pm and was offered happy hour specials, which I close a glass of white Rascal's wine. My husband decided to get a glass of the red Rascals wine featured for happy hour.. but because it was a minute after 5pm he was denied.. because of their programming device, which seems unfortunate. Was disappointing..

Good food, great service would definitely recommend esp the enclosed outdoor patio. Just didn’t like it towards the end when they installed a huge speaker and played loud music that disrupted my lunch meeting so I might go elsewhere next time a bit more quiet

I love the way the door was opened for us and the young man greeting was very pleasant. Our server was attentive, friendly and respectful. I forgot to look for names. Will be back. Maybe more local craft beers would be good.
