    It was not as great as usual. One server was assisting another and they kept coming up separately asking the same questions. Hard during a business meeting with so many interruptions.

    Earls was a wee bit short of diners, so we chose a fabulous table in the bar area and with the chatter and music in the bar the atmosphere was festive and just what we were looking for Our Server. " Braden" was outstanding and we had lots of fun with him and a few of the lady server's as well. Bartender's martini's were very very good Split a 14 oz Ribeye and added a lobster tail and it was Perfection. Mashed Potatoes were unique with the deep fried onions on top. We ate them all. My brother said it was the best steak he's had in " ions" Just a great place with wonderful Staff and an easy fun filled 2+ hrs Will return - eventhough I live in North Van :(.

    December 2, 2023- Service was excellent, food was excellent. Our booth seats were all ripped and torn - not cool and the restaurant was very noisy! Needs some TLC and repair…maybe some large plants to absorb some of the noise.

    The service was spectacular even my kids commented on it! The food came quickly, tasted great and the music made me want to dance!! We were coming from being told of a 40 mins wait at Cactus Club and being able to quickly make a reservation just in case was icing on the cake! With loads of parking as the cherry on top!

    Regan was amazing as usual. Friendly and efficient. I was disappointed to hear that my compliment about her wasn’t passed on to her last time I reviewed Earls. Food was hot and served quickly.

    I had a terrible experience at Earls Port Coquitlam on my birthday. We were not properly attended to, as they ran out of whiskey, which is unacceptable in Canada, especially in the winter. When I offered my own bottle of Bourbon for them to continue serving us Old Fashioned drinks, they refused. They also denied beer to one of my friends, who had only had two, and to top it off, the server mistakenly overcharged us. They also pressured us to order main dishes when there were still three hours left until the kitchen closed. Overall, it was a disappointing and frustrating birthday celebration. I do not recommend this place.

    Felt like our server forgot about us. No one was asked for a second drink even tho our glasses were removed from the table Took a long time for drink order for some of the guests that arrived after we did (still on time for reservation) Took long time to be asked for our food order

    Salmon was slightly overcooked. We asked for a quiet location, but there are none. It may be a generational thing, but you cannot carry on a conversation at a normal level.

    It was a nice spot for dinner with friends. Lots of parking. Restaurant was a bit loud, you could hardly hear the people at the other end of the table

    I love the decor, especially the seating options. The restaurant is comfortable and easy to navigate. The food is exactly what you would expect for a mid-range chain restaurant. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well presented. Our service was quite poor, as the server kept forgetting drinks. It also took a long time to get the bill resolved and a copy printed. We had to ask other servers for assistance 3 times. Hope that was a on-off situation, as everything else was on-point.

    Seasonal vegetables with steak could use a bit more flavour and cooked a bit longer. Asparagus was pretty flavourless and hard.

    The noise level was much better than last time I was there. We were put in the back corner near the bathrooms so it was a bit less out in the open. Our waitress was amazing. 🙂

    My dinner was amazing , so was the pumpkin dessert. Best Malbec wine 🍷 great service and ambience . I would recommend more traditional appies on the menu though like calamari, gyoza, mushroom caps, zucchini sticks

    I enjoy Earls and there is usually one nearby. The service is good and the food is always good. I think the food is overpriced but this is for everywhere right now so it is in keeping with other places. They asked where we wanted to be seated and since I was meeting a friend to catch up we sat in the quieter area which was perfect. The table was great and I loved the velvet chairs. I like that they did not rush us out and provided just enough check-ins without being annoying. I would recommend Earls and will keep going back!

    We arrived at 4:30 pm so the Appy Hour menu was still going. It is nice to save a bit of moola when you can. The Bangkok bowl was just okay. I would not order it again. The steak I ordered to be added was really tasty though. The Earl Grey Sonic drink was really tasty. I didn't get much of a Gin flavour. It tasted a bit like an ice tea. Our server was attentive and respected our girl talk time with the right amount of checking in with us. All in all it was good.
