    We sat by the window and froze to death. Our Waiter seemed newer never asked if we wanted more drinks so i asked. Only complaint about our meal was our appetizer spinach dip was cold.

    The service is not what it once was. First off it took around 20minutes to get out first drink. They served us a 7 ounce portion of wine when we ordered a 9. It was rectified when we mentioned it. They forgot to bring my husbands clam chowder altogether and served the mains first. One portion of salmon was overcooked which was mentioned.. they decided to serve it anyway and then proceeded to bring another portion halfway through the meal. They didn’t offer pepper or Parmesan for the Alfredo which we also found odd

    The atmosphere is nice, we sat outside on the patio. They didn’t have my OpenTable reservation in their system but quickly seated us wherever we wanted. I showed them the confirmation email I had from OpenTable. When seated our table and other tables in the patio area all had crumbs on them. The server didn’t offer to clean it, I had to ask for it to be cleaned. The food wasn’t anything special. My sister has the ribeye steak and I had a burger. The burger had no seasoning on it and was bland. The bun was good. The fries were too crispy and hard. The steak and mashed potato was just ok. The dynamite roll was the best dish we had there. I’d recommend that. The service was ok but the for price of food and tip, it can be better. Overall I don’t think I’d be back maybe for appy hour with friends.

    Today was another reason why Earls is a solid go to in this city. The service (Ava) was amazing. She was attentive yet knowing and understanding when to check. Seeing Sara twice in one week is definitely a bonus. The industry is challenging now more than ever. I look for quality on many levels. If I am going to go out and spend money, this is a great place to do it. Xo

    I felt the food was not as fresh as in previous visits. It was early in the eve and was not busy so felt we should have had very freshly cooked meals. The chicken wings almost seemed reheated.

    We dine here all the time but this was one of my most exceptional visits. We sat on the patio and Natasha and Zack went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We shared laughs and had the most incredible time. The margaritas were flowing, food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I can’t remember the name of the female manager who was working last night but she was absolutely incredible. OUTFREAKINGSTANDING EARLS VIC EAST.

    Fantastic Valentine’s Day Meal. Loved the sample of Cherries and Rainbows at the door! I probably wouldn’t of gotten a bottle of wine without that sample. Service was top notch all night even with it busy. Was so nice to see everyone working as a team to clear tables etc. Food was amazing. I’m not a sushi person and the dynamite rolls were delicious!! Portion size was excellent and priced fairly well! I will definitely go back!

    We were sitting directly under a speaker and the music was so loud at times it was hard to have a conversation. Also, the people sitting beside us were having some sort of a celebration and were quite loud. We didn’t expect the restaurant to be packed on a Tuesday night and so the noise level was probably higher than usual. Our server did a great job looking after us so we appreciated her attentiveness! When I booked the reservation and specified seating in the dining room I didn’t expect to be sitting right beside by the bar. So that was a disappointment.

    We went to Earls for our anniversary last night. Our crab cake and full combo came in 40 mins which was pretty decent. However, we had to wait for our server long time to come to our table. She never came to fill my hot water so I had to ask someone else. We waited very long time to order our food after she learned that we didn’t wanna any alcohol drinks. Then after we finished the meal while looking for the server, the manager came over and checked on us, which was very nice since we couldn’t find our server. After he heard it was anniversary he told us he would buy us a dessert, how sweet! It wasn’t that busy last night but we had to wait for 20 mins for the cheesecake. The cheesecake probably had left in the kitchen for a while since the whip-cream fell on the side and melted. The food tasted great like always, but the service was probably the worst we received at Earls. We had to keep looking for her and she barely came to our table to check on us. On the other hand, the manager came over multiple times and apologized for the situation. He knows how to treat long term customers in respect, especially their time. Even we didn’t like our service we still left our server 15% tips. I hope she can treat people with the same respect, not based on if they order alcohol drinks or not.

    Hi Meghan. Thank you for your review! We are sorry about the nacho chips. We season our corn chips with citric acid which adds a citrus flavour which may be causing the sour taste you mentioned.     We went to the Earls to celebrate my birthday yesterday, the reservation was at 5:15 for group of 3. We didn’t get our table until 5:30 as the staff told us that our table wasn’t ready yet. Then it turned out that the table was for 5 people. Not sure what happened, as it never happened to us before. The restaurant was not full, however, we had to wait for a long time to get our food (more than 30mins wait at least). The manager Nike came over and apologized for the situation, the kitchen got the first order wrong then my crab cake got burnt again. Anyways, he took care of everything and the rest of the evening was good. We like Earls because of the food and service. Even they made some mistakes yesterday, but the manager was able to resolve our problems right away. Keep up with the good service and standards!

    We were greeted at the door and taken to our reserved table within a few minutes. Our server was excellent and attentive. Table was cleared from dirty dishes and drinks topped off, new drinks brought promptly. Main meals were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding could have been warmer. It was a little noisy so we had to speak louder than normal. Overall it was a great night for dinner.

    Good experience, however I was a bit put off by the decision to increase the minimum tip to 18%. I am happy to tip the servers, however I resist being told to tip that high.
