Earls Kitchen + Bar - Test Kitchen - Vancouver
Was excited to bring my mom here as we had travelled from the island. Needless the service was horrible, we ordered chicken fettuccine and when we got our order we had no chicken, had to call over our waitress to tell her, she fixed it, then we never saw her again. Didn’t come check on us no offer of pepper , more water, sat there when we were finished our meal for quite a while before she came and removed our plates and then brought us our bill and then your machine wasn’t working so had to go get another one. Not an experience one should have being there are numerous places I could have taken her. Maybe have more staff with smaller sections and pay attention to your customers. I had told the front desk lady she didn’t really seem to care as I told her we had horrible service and to tell her manager. She looked like a deer in the headlights when I had told her this so we just walked out. Very disappointed to say the least
Dissappointed that you were out of the spinach dip and the spicy tuna roll. Also took quite awhile for our server to come back to the table (probably at least 20 minutes) so we could ask for our bill to pay. Other than that, it was a good experience.
Our waitress was very nice and always checked on us which was great
Very accommodating & attentive. It was a great experience celebrating a birthday. Great customer service!
Late food made us late for the concert.
Rushed our delicious dinner!
Never disappoints as a place to go for lunch during the week or after work gatherings with co-workers.
The Ahi Tuna Poke was delicious. When we asked about the ingredients, the sou chef came out and gave us the rundown. The waiting staff was wonderful.
WAY TOO NOISY.
Good experience for a group of 8 with a reservation. Table was a suitable size. Our server was attentive, food and drinks came quickly. Happy hour pricing and options were great. Only area for improvement would be that our table wasn't ready for our reservation time - was about 7 minutes late. It wasn't during a busy time, restaurant was almost empty, so was a bit disappointing. Overall a great experience and we'll be back.
My co-workers and I come here often. We never get tired of their happy hour menu. They are delicious and serving portions are decent. Always a good way to end a hectic day.
I love Earls fir all three interesting new dishes and HAPPY HIOUR before films at the theatre nearby!
Great location, good food but maybe a few more selections of the classic Brunch Menu. e.g...Crepes? The place is clean and Hostesses were very friendly and smiling all the time. Our server Jordyn was great and she was very attentive to our needs. Will definitely dine here again...Keep up the good work! 5/5...
Main course plates where left for around 20 minutes on our table after we had finished before being cleared away by the server.
My wife and I was there to dinner and she had a chicken Sandwich and a salad and I had a Steak with fries; it was awesome. The Service was very friendly. We have made previous a reservation. I highly recommended because it could be really full.
Server left a dirty rag on the backs of one of our chairs. Had to ask for everything: cutlery, plates, dishes to be cleared before dessert, water, and so on. And we were informed that the restaurant was also out of ribs. Experience was less than mediocre, surprising for Earls.
We arrived at a busy time with my dad who has trouble walking and I told her I made reservations on open table but she said that they dont make reservations, anyway she said a table came up and away we went . It was very good , service great and staff friendly
Had made reservations for 6 people, phoned to up that to a party of 8 and they accomodated it with no problems even late the day of. All our guests were from out of country and had never been to an Earl's before and all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Felt it was a great choice to satisfy all the different types of appetites. Our server Connor was great. Not from Vancouver but would recommend this location.
Food was good - we got what we ordered. The waitress was a little slow in getting our food out to us.
Food was on the okay side of the spectrum. Service was great.
Music sucked and was too loud. It's was 90 s rock which I don't mind, but not what I go to earls for... Keep it modern, it's not roosters in Pitt meadows
In Vancouver for just one day, and delighted with this find! Great food, service, atmosphere - wish they had a location near me.
Had the Halibut and it was amazing! Fresh tasty. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive!
Found the restaurant on Open Table during a visit to Vancouver. It was very close to our hotel and we are glad it was. Excellent food — Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and Blackened Swordfish Tacos. Great and varied menu. Excellent service. Neat restaurant. We will have to try the Chicago edition of Earl’s soon.
Das Essen war gut und es hat eine abwechslungsreiche Speiseauswahl. Die Bedienung war super nett. Die Canadier sind einfach tolle und nette Leute.
The table that we had reserved ended up being in a place that was filled with families and their kids. The staff worked to get us a table in the lounge and it was super fast and easy, they just transferred us over there. Excellent wait staff, made our dining experience so much more enjoyable. I love this place and look forward to hanging out with my friends more often! AND...it's a nice looking place.
Sehr gutes Steak und auch die Bedienung war top! Der Thunfisch ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert.
Good tasty food for fair price. Modern industrial look to facility. Music a bit loud, but probably just right for younger crowd. I tried a test dish and it was great. The blonde ale was a bit flat and tasteless. Overall though experience was great and would recommend.
Industrial warehouse interior. Very contemporary. Service was a little interested in table turnover. Chicken tacos good. Short ribs didnt seem like short rib, tough. This place is a chain
Earl’s Kitchen Test is my fav Earls. The atmosphere is great and unique. Happy Hours are amazing and the service is always very good.
Lovely food great service but very noisy -ask to be seated in the alcove area
Unfortunately the food was terrible. I had the blackened chicken with potato salad and coleslaw. The potato salad was drenched with mayonnaise, visually I'm surprised that anyone would serve a plate that looked like it did. The chicken wasn't dry however it was exceptionally greasy. The entire plate ended up soggy with warm mayonnaise and grease. I've had this meal a couple of times at other locations and never experienced a plate such as the one I had.
As we all know, it's not cheap to go out for dinner. When you're served a meal like this it's extremely disappointing. Unfortunately I will likely never got to Earls again nor would I recommend their restaurants.
Great service. Friendly and accommodating staff. Food was okay, nothing spectacular, just solid good food.
Wonderful, people were great and the food was delicious - I believe we were seated in the lounge and the speakers were a bit loud, but thats a minor gripe. Great night.
There was a putrid smell equivalent to a smelly rag used to clean the tables. The server stated several other patrons complained of the same smell. It disappeared eventually but lingered for a goo 30+ minutes. Otherwise, a good experience.
Our server Damian made our evening wonderful and so polite!
A dish was not very good, but was replaced and promptly. All good
The food and service were great. However, despite making a reservation with specific seating requests, we still had to wait 15 minutes and then couldn’t be seated in the dining room at all.
The place was very noisy. Very. It took a little longer than usual to get car service but the food service was prompt. The soup starter came with the main entree which was not expected but ok. The clam chowder was excellent. The lobster tail was very good. The Cajun salmon was definitely Cajun... a little too Spivey for our taste and dry. The sirloin steak was good. The serving staff were attentive and probably the best aspect of the evening. It was all good but we probably won’t rush back.
Yummy food... Awesome service.. Nice staff....
Went for a first date, was a little disappointed that we were not in a booth or by the window as requested. We were very close to the bar so it was louder than I would have liked and at a high top which wasn’t the best, we’re both short people and couldn’t touch the ground.
The food was good, definitely different.
Waaaaay too much ice in the sangria pitcher we ordered. My date ended up with a glass over flowing with ice by the end of the pouring and he had to scoop it out onto his plate to get the fruit at the bottom cause the waitress had already taken the pitcher away.
But the food was good and we had great chemistry so everything else paled in comparison.
