    We had brunch. Two of us had Eggs Benedict. The taste of the food was excellent, sadly the food was cool. Not cold just cool. Because we were entertaining out of town friends, we didn’t make a fuss and we didn’t send the food back for warning. The classic breakfast was also good but cool. The hamburger was hot. We asked for oil for our salad and it was never bright too the table. In addition the server spilled hollandaise sauce and egg on the table and didn’t offer to clean it up. Eventually we asked for a cloth so we could clean the table. 🥴 Service was disappointing.

    From the warm and welcoming hostess to the obliging, unobtrusive wait staff, our visit was more than we expected. Food was fabulous… 2 of our diners had severe allergies, and it felt like their safety was a primary concern. A great and memorable experience.

    I had made reservations for the DIning Room but when I arrived they said we would have to be in the lounge. When seated I realized as there was 5 of us it was tight, I mentioned to the waitress and she said she would see what she could do , The Manager came and assisted and did move us to the dining room , which I appreciated it . But it was still a fairly small space and very dark? There was ample areas in the dining room when I looked around so I am not sure why were seated there, Also the service was not good at all , very slow, Sadly they were not busy so not sure why ? Food was very good but lacked the service that I would normally receive at Earls.

    We used to love coming to Earls, but the quality and service has been steadily going downhill. We came solely for pumpkin pie, and of course they no none available. Food quality was poor. My wife’s salad came with dressing, my daughters order came out wrong. No offer from the server to correct it. Overall very disappointed.

    Super enjoyed the atrium! Had to ask for the Happy Hour menu because I was emailed about it from Earl’s head office. The $4 menu items came up $5 each when the bill came however they comped one item for me which was nice. The two orders of Dynamite Rolls were to die for! Also no low sodium soya sauce packets on hand. They gave me more sushi sauce for dipping. It was great! Waitress and her assistant were lovely! I cash tipped 23% of the bill and hope it was shared with her assistant. Haven’t been since pre-covid and enjoyed our time and visit there! I’ll be back!

    Staff are super. When there was an issue with some wine - not only did they replace it they compted the bottle. Very good come back from a customer complaint!

    We ordered from the Bruch menu during Happy Hour ( from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon). We had delicious classic Eggs Benedict. The food arrived hot and was very tasty - served with the classic Hollandaise sauce. It came with crispy fried potatoes and a small salad. The service was attentive and we enjoyed the meal and overall dining experience!

    A very nice evening with an elderly relative. The hostess seated us at the closest available patio table so we did not have far to walk. Our servers were polite and efficient, especially Alyssa. Portions were perfect sized for an older person. Well done!

    I couldn't believe how bad the service was when you had so much staff on. In fact if it wasn't for the two boy runners we probably would have left earlier. The waitress was out of it. We came in there for a night together. We order cocktails, appetizers, main course, wine. What more do you want in customer. We constantly had to flag her down for every order. Then our appetizers were cold. There were. bugs in the drink. And she just was never there. The manager came over and was very pleasant but we were not there to get free food or wine, we were there to enjoy the evening with sister and her husband. So we left and the whole night was gone. It really makes me mad that we even paid for anything. It was the worst service and cold food, with a dink with bugs. You have enough staff on, train them or get them out the door if they can't do the job. We only have so much time to spend with each other. When we went to go somewhere else everything was booked. So we will not be back to a place I have been going for 40 years.

    Earl's is a lovely place for a social evening dinner. The ambiance is nice, relaxing and dimly lit, and there are plenty of food choices. I feel that the food caliber, however, does not match the price point. The food tastes good, but it should be priced much less than it is compared to restaurants with higher quality food.

    Enjoyed our dinner overall but had some challenges finding a meal that would fit a restricted diet. We originally chose Earls because of their plant based menu but learned there that they contained soy. I can appreciate that it’s generally difficult to find non soy options as a vegan. I did choose a salad and grain option, but there was a small portion of grain and iceberg lettuce making up the main part of the dish, leaving the nutritional content of the meal low. Service was excellent and the best we’ve had in a long time.

    The Service was very poor compared to previous visits. The food was better than average. When we were indecisive on whether to sit in the lounge or the dining room, the manager chose not to show us to the dining and elected to just point to where we should stand to be seated in the dining room. The Server had know suggestions for appetizers and seem to be too busy to offer any. Our food came before the wine. She allowed the wine to drip on our napkins and didn’t even offer a replacement. We were so disappointed that we left and enjoyed Desserts at a nearby establishment.

    Our server sorry I’ve forgotten her name was helpful and cheerful throughout our meal all the meals were great my steak was cooked perfectly although a bit too much salt. The pizza was very good but a bit large for one meal oh well it came home for later

    As always, I love sharing a meal with friends at Earls Tin Palace on Jasper Avenue and 119 Street. The atrium is a great atmosphere. With all the glass, it feels like being outdoors but it's sheltered from wind and bright sunshine. The food is fine. The service is excellent - attentive and prompt, without being intrusive. Yesterday, my friend and I were appreciating it so much that we ended up spending most of the afternoon there. The staff kept making sure we had whatever we wanted, and were completely content with us staying so long. Yep, I'll be back again - many times! Bonnie Hutchinson

    We were three adults enjoying a family meal together. One had the truffle and steak tortellini , another the cajun, blackened chicken (without the cajun and blackened) and a third had the steak frites. We all enjoyed the food - particular raves over the tortellini and the chicken. Service was intermittent, with several folks serving and it took some time to finally get the bill.

    That's always earl's was quite pleasant. The stuff are always friendly. The atmosphere is elegant and simple. The prices are a little high for what they provide. And for some reason it's always far too dim at dinner time. Dim lights and a fine print menu are not a good combination.

    Earls is a neighborhood restaurant we attend when we don't feel like making dinner. There are a few items we like on the menu but generally we find it limiting. It seems that since the menu never changes it seems like a restaurant for special occasions only. Very walkable for us drinks are good food is average.

    We had to cross a large lake of water to get into the restaurant. Not nice when dressed up for a special evening out! As a first impression, this was such a big let down!!
