Above average setting. A tad dark and loud at times but very clean with a friendly and helpful staff.
we love the variety of the dishes in the menu. Food is always fresh and flavoured.
just a note, because of covid, on arrival by the reception, people are too close and
the girls seem to take a while to find reservation.
main doors should always be open but people arriving should be distancing
The service was relatively poor overall. Ordering was very disorganized, the server was not attentive, we were not given plates for our appetizers, no napkins, no cutlery.... We were given dirty appetizer plates that we had to hand back in order to get new ones. Very slow or we had to request to get empty plates and drinks removed. The food was good but we had to reiterate our main meals multiple times over and again, and list everything again when we were requesting bills. We also requested an outdoor spot on reservation days prior and were sat inside. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great (and I was very excited as it was my first time home in 1.5 years and I chose Earls for the occasion!).
While we had hoped to be outside, we enjoyed the atrium almost as much!!
Loooove earls. They have the best Happy Hour in the city
Good service, food came out in a good time.
Sat out in the atrium at Earls on Kasper and had a lovely girly lunch with my friend. We talked for over two hours! Service was great. She left us to it, but popped over every now and the. To check we were ok. She never hassled us or pushed for us to move on. The food was lovely, and super fresh and hot! This is just the most reliable place with a menu that is suitable for every occasion. One of my most favourite go to places. 💝💝💝
Meeting a relative who was in town for the night.
We celebrate the first time my wife and I met at Earl’s Tin Palace every year. We never mention this so imagine our surprise when when the manager came over to inform us that our server nominated us to have our meal at no cost as part of a program empowering servers to nominate one table per night. We love Earl’s Happy Hour menu and prices and are regulars. This made a special day even more special. Thank you Earl’s team!!
Worst service ever! Charged regular price, not happy hour. Had to wait an hour to get second drink. Didn’t take away finished plates. Couldn’t pay the bill for 45min. Server did not have a busy section. No excuse. Bartender finally had to serve us. Manager was professional. Food was great.
Birthday patio drinks with the girls.
4 of us (two girls, two guys) had a dinner at Earls downtown Edmonton (on Jasper Ave), Aug 12, 2020, patio. The girl (Sorry, can't remember her name) served out table is fantastic. The food was good. At the end, she gave us a nice surprise. We really appreciated it. Will go back:)
The food & service was great! Awesome prices with the 50% wine Tuesday. The Filet Mignon I had was perfectly seasoned & cooked. My friends loved watching the storm move through downtown in your beautiful Atrium area! Will be back again soon.
If you can get a spot under the pergola, this is a great place to sit outside to enjoy lunch on a sunny afternoon in the summer time. And since it was mid-August, the mosquitoes were nearly non-existent so I didn't have to worry about swatting bugs between bites of my food.
Good food selection, limited but excellent deserts, and refreshing drinks
Dependable as always, no complaints
Waitress wasn’t seeing how we were doing very often to see if we needed anything.
It was great to get out and have an outdoor dining experience with friends. The patio was welcoming. The drinks were cold and the food was of excellent quality. However our server was very very slow. As there was only one other table on the patio during our visit we were hoping for more attentive service. It was over 30 minutes before our food order was taken.
Well done! The staff were very good and flexible. Very aware of individual needs and Covid protocol. Thanks.
Always fantastic was happy to celebrate my 18th birthday here
Only issue was our patio seat cushions were wet. Hard to tell if they were actually wet or just cooler to the touch. After we all got up to leave however , our pants at the seat were wet.
Great. I do not like to be forced to lengthen by comments.
I had a reservation on Saturday, June 20 for a birthday celebration for five! The restaurant confirmed our reservation on the same day of arrival and when we arrived it was closed! I had to find a restaurant to accommodate my party of five! It was stressful! My guests had to wait! That is not good business! Someone should of called me! They had my cell phone number! No excuse! I am very understanding but that was not good customer service!
I had a glass of white wine and a Mediocre burger and it cost me $42. I think that’s quite expensive,
Had the Chicken, Brie, fig sandwich and a Paloma, both were excellent, as was the service. Earls does a great job setting up the patio to mask the traffic noise.
Earls tin palace was great! The staff were amazing and accommodating, very clean. Sophie made my dining experience the best for a while.
Grace was amazing. Make sure you treat her well as she treats her customers very well.
Great food and service as always. Wish the table lighting was better at least up until 9:00 P.M. Also I have noticed that sometimes the 9:00 "rule" seems to drift towards 8:30 instead.
Waited over 15 minutes to get a hello or order drinks. (Had a reservation). When the late person came and still no service we had to finally call some over to get their drink order-the person was extremely rude. 2 of us ordered a Sante fe chicken salad. Mine was fine, (not to standard) the other had only 3 pieces of chicken. We waited ages to get someone’s attention to come over to tell them. They said they’d bring her more chicken. Everyone was done when it arrived. She still ate it and hurt her mouth on a BONE in it!!!!!
Didn’t get drink refills. Had to flag someone down for water twice. It was so unbelievable and frustrating.
Although the server/waitress was polite and friendly, she did not return to our table towards the end of the meal to ask if we needed anything else, such as more tea or lemonade.
The music level was moderately loud - it could be turned down. After all, this is not a bar.
Excellent Happy Hour menu, great food and service was very friendly.
It was our first meal out at a restaurant since the shutdown started in March. We chose Earl’s because we love their food and we knew they had places to eat either fully or partly outside. It was as good as ever!
Wonderful experience. Every attention paid to cleanliness and service. Very prompt food delivery and super tasty all around. Loved it!
the social distancing was fantastic inside the restaurant - the challenge was around d the entrance where there was not distancing by the reception desk and on the walk from the restaurant to the parking lot, This was Earls Tin Palace
Awesome as always! My second trip to an Earls in as many weeks
Prompt seating, service, and delicious food! Food prices were comparable to other restaurants but I feel the drink prices are a bit high ($20/7 oz glass red wine). If allowed, would be cheaper to bring your own bottle! Total bill for 2 people; meal, 1 drink each came to $84. Pretty pricey for lunch hour.
Our server Elissa was very charming and attentive. The meal was all we had hoped for. Our only complain was the music was far to techno pop for our liking, but perhaps that’s because we’re both closing in on 60.
Been loving Earls since it’s inception on the south side.

Coming out of Covid, or moving through the next stage, it’s clear we crave one to one interaction. But most of us -those who have a brain- are also cautious . Earls took great care and preparation. It was o vinous, with all staff including line cooks wearing masks. Made me feel much more safe.
