It's not getting better at Earl's. The place feels dated (which it actually is) and the food gets pricier at a rapid pace but not better.

Met up for Tuesday happy hour with two girlfriends. We had a great time, bottles of wine are half price on Tuesday’s with a great selection to choose from and the choice of appetizers was great. We got a bottle of unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon which was very good, a kale and mushroom pizza, truffle fries with aioli dip, angry chicken in butter lettuce wraps and some spinach, artichoke and cheese dip with piles of baguette. Everything was delicious, The portion sizes are huge we could not finish everything and had to take the leftovers home. We hung out for 3 hours, and had a great time, we all caught up on everyone’s news, the music was good, the restaurant was not loud so easy to hear everyone without shouting. We all loved going to Earls and will definitely be back.

Got confused between drinks, ordered a Hawaiian Mai tai, but thought it was a blue Hawaiian, told them I got confused, tried to then order a blue Hawaiian, was told they can’t make it anymore, and was told it was taken off the menu; when indeed it wasn’t taken off the menu. Ordered a Caesar instead, and they didn’t charge me for the drink mishap, ordered the angry lettuce wraps, and they weren’t what I thought they were going to be, but the spinach dip was delicious

Tortellini and steak was slathered in a heavy oily salty tasteless sauce. I couldn’t finish the tortellini. The steak pieces were good though.

Great service. We went for happy hour. Happy hour wine was good. We’ve been ordering Leroy’s ribs for years and portion size is now noticeably smaller. Corn and avocado dip great. All other food we ordered was good.

We met friends for lunch in the lounge area. The service was great, prompt, and friendly and the food was also good. A good kitchen and menu that takes cooking for non-meat eaters and vegans seriously. Good choices and prices range for food and drinks.

Came for dinner with guests from out of town. Tried the passion fruit margaritas - great! Calamari was excellent as a shared appetizer. Mediterranean Chicken Linguine had a few too many olives, but otherwise very tasty. Crab cakes were excellent and the burgers (both chicken and beef) were awesome! Service was fast but not very friendly or caring - perhaps an off day.

The food we ordered was excellent. The drinks were also good. The room was busy but not noisy. We sat in a booth. The server was back to the table too often and we felt rushed along during the evening. Eventually, we were told that the server's shift was ending and they wanted to close our bill. We all felt slightly irritated by their badgering us to get to the next part and then wrap it up. Hopefully, next time we're at Earl's we'll get a server who is not so rushed to have the customers eat, drink and leave as quickly as possible.

The restaurant was not busy yet our service wasn't what we have been used to at Earl's. Wasn't easy finding our server when we needed her. They all seemed to just disappear. The restaurant was very cold. I seldom if ever complain of the cold but the restaurant was cold.

Unfortunately my gravy was only Luke warm as were my fries and coffee. Earls is one of our fav places to eat, it’s not a cheap meal and we so go quite often. I was quite unhappy and sadly didn’t have time to send everything back as we had an appointment and needed to leave.

Always a great meal at Earl’s - our favourite; Cajun chicken Ceasar salad with the warm spinach dip. Never disappoints, however, the ‘portions’ that Earls’ are serving appear reduced compared to a year ago. Prices have remained unchanged, however, the portion on a full size Ceasar salad is questionable. On its own, it may not be enough to fill the average person up. Hence a 3 for value.

Service was impeccable, quick. Waitress was very understanding with my hearing issued and spoke to me so I could hear her. Very personable person. Would highly recommend Earls to anyone. Hope to dine there again, when can afford it. Thanks again for a great dining experience. Steve and Laura.

When we made our reservation, I specifically asked for a ‘table with chairs … NOT A BOOTH’! We were seated in the bar in a booth that was elevated on a pedestal of approximately 12”. I ordered the 6oz. Tataki-style Steak & Sushi, the sushi was fantastic but the steak was hard to cut into bite size pieces with a steak knife even though it was already sliced. It was also very chewy with a small amount gristle. It was very disappointing. I love steak & I love sushi but I will never order this again for 35.00!
