The staff were overall nice folks, but we kept getting a bunch of extra diet cokes throughout the evening cuz the manager had punched in 2 diet cokes for our order, instead of 1 coke and 1 diet coke. It was funny but we didn't want all that diet coke to go to waste, but after the 4th time, we were tired of it. The food was fine, I tried the new truffled chicken parmesan, it was okay at most, think salt was the only thing they used to flavour it. It's really dark in there too, maybe add some more light fixtures?

Overall, the food and service was rather good. However, as soon as we sat down, we were told of the 2 hr time limit and that it started now, not when we our meal arrives. We weren't planning on staying 2 hrs but we felt that the comment was ungracious and it did not make us feel welcome. It was a Tuesday at 5 pm. I can understand if the place got busy and they informed us about the 2 hr time limit ...fine. But to be warned of this at the start of our dinner was downright rude. The first waitress also had a cold tone and when I asked her for extra serviettes to wipe the spill when l poured the tea. She said l had to wait. I got tired of seeing the water spill on the table and just grabbed paper towels from the washroom to wipe it up. The first waitress was replaced with another one who was more pleasant and accommodating.

My wife thought her chicken dish was dry. The manager came to the the table and stated the chicken was cooked to "spec" and my wife could have her plate back or order something else. No offer to redo the meal to her liking. She ended up ordering something else instead. When the bill came the waiter said they took care of the chicken and didn't charge us. Why would they charge us for a meal we didn't like or eat? When compared to other comparable establishments this was a poor display of customer service. In a city like Toronto there's a lot of restaurants where customers are appreciated I'm just not sure this one of them.

This was my first visit to Earls Kitchen + Bar-Yorkdale on a Sunday morning for its brunch. I enjoyed the entire experience. My server Diana was friendly and knew everything on the menu. The light background music was soft and upbeat, elegant but not noisy. I would definitely come back again.

Food was great as always. I usually go to Earls Vaughan but thought I’d give Yorkdale a go to switch it up, Janessa was amazing. Really knew her stuff and recommended some great adds to our dinner. Would come back just for her!

I love Earl's & so did the othetc4 girls I dined with. The tables are setup so indivually, some privacy & comfy atmosphere. The staff are very attentive but not overly so your conversations flow without interruption. Food arrived hot & well presented. Great lunch.

Originally sat in a booth which was too far from table. Very uncomfortable. Requested another table. They sat us in a closed section which was fine except it was very cold. It was extremely unpleasant. Hostess was lovely but atmosphere was so unpleasant. Very disappointed.

Excellent meal! Service was super fast and friendly! The temperature in the restaurant was quite warm if I had to complain about anything. Otherwise, really good meal and reasonably priced for the big portions.

It was my very first time there. From the moment we walked inside the door, we were greeted and right away I felt like this was going to be a good experience. The food was amazing! The service that we received from our server named Bianca couldn’t have been better. One of my best experiences I’ve ever had visiting a restaurant. She went over and beyond our needs and her recommendations were spot on in food choices and drinks. Bianca made us feel at home and it’s like we’ve known her forever. Her personality was just on top. The host came to check up on us here and there and she too had the most amazing personality. Best experience I’ve had in a very long time and I will definitely be going back.

This is the second time I’ve gone in a few weeks and both times; the server sort of forgot about us after our mains were served. Both times about an hour passed with no follow up and both times we had to ask someone to bring our bill. We may have ordered a second drink or a dessert if a menu had been offered, but after an hour we just wanted to get going. At a price point of almost $50 for a burger and a drink… I’d have expected better service. I thought the first time was a fluke… but twice in a row?

It was my bday & everything was perfect! Just the drinks took a long time to come, our apps came way before our drinks. Would have like my margarita first before my truffle fries. The margarita was also mostly ice could have been stronger & filled up w more liquid & less ice. Other then that the food was amazing & I appreciated the free dessert w candle
