Earls Kitchen + Bar - Square One
We had an amazing time at Earls. The food and service were amazing. We only wish the music was a little lower so that we could hear our conversations. We had to yell at many points which gave us a headache.
Food was wonderful. Prices reasonable. Service was great.
We never got the name of our server.
Which kind of sucks because she went out of her way to buy candles for Erin’s birthday dessert.
Mimosas were slightly bitter, but that’s probably because of the freshly squeezed orange juice.
Overall, it was a good experience
We order a large soup and they brought us a small, and when they bought the large it was cold, fried was too salty.
Drink was great ✔
The food was good, but not good enough to justify the cost. It was a little on the loud side and the ambiance was okay. I was a little disappointed as I have been to the Earl's downtown Toronto and really enjoyed it. I live in Mississauga so I thought I would try the location in Square One, however, it was a disappointment, it's part of the mall and we were seating by the mall side window, this diminished the ambiance somewhat. I probably won't return, but I will go back to the downtown location as it's location and ambiance is superior.
Slow service. 20-30 mins to get a drink. Cheap drinks though! Cheapest in sauga
The waiter ( I forgot his name but he was so enchanting and friendly.) he knew our order without writing it down, he was patient as I was a hour late for dinner with my dad and gf. The food was awesome and of good value .
We were a party of 6 for Mothers Day at noon. We all had brunch items and e all enjoyed our meals. It was a bit noisy but given the day then that is to be expected. The service was really fantastic efficient and we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very good restaurant! Drinks were good and chicken Cesar salad was very tasty, chicken was very tender
Amazing. Staff was great. Food was great. Drink specials were great!
Excellent food and service
Noisy place! Background music too loud. Don’t expect to be able to hold a conversation.
Food good, but one of our party of 4 had to wait an extra 10 minutes on their main. No sensible explanation given.
Earls has always been a favourite of mine. They have good food, great selections, but they're not TOO artisanal - which some places are doing to their detriment. They take great care to ensure your order is right, and if it's not, they go above and beyond to redo it to exact specs.
The food was great overall. The service could have been better but it was a saturday night so it was busy. We were not seated right away and we came 5 mins after our reservation.
Great place to eat, food is great , service was great, we enjoy dinner at earls every time we meet for a shopping day.
Seated promptly. Our waiter was busy, so manager took over for him until he was freed up. Seemless transition in service between the two. Execllent service. Good food. A bit noisy so sometimes hard to hear but otherwise excellent experience.
AWESOME SERVICE AND A KILLER SANTE FE INSPIRED SALAD. How can you make a salad so delicious? Wonderful resto inside SQAURE ONE MALL.
Our service was really slow. It took forever to get our steaks, and when they arrived they were too charred. We didn't bother to complain because it would have taken forever for them to get back to us anyway. We asked for steak sauce...they brought us a small container of steak sauce instead of the bottle, so we asked for another one. We never got the second order of steak sauce after telling 2 people. Our server could have been nicer. It was also quite loud in there, so we had to pretty much yell to have a conversation and be heard. I was pretty disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant. Service, food, and ambience could use lots of improvement.
The entire experience was wonderful as usual - only thing was we the food took longer than normal to come out, which delayed our 1pm meetings.
Good place to eat and enjoy the time. Only problem is that when it's busy, waitress kept forgetting to bring our drinks. Had to always ask another waitress to bring it for us.
Very loud inside
Vegan options were outstanding!!!
It was very very loud, however that's to be expected during the lunch hour. I had the swordfish taco, however the meal was far from hot. I couldn't send it back as I'm diabetic and had already taken my needle, so I had to eat and wouldn't be able to wait. I will also say that $5.50 for a bottle of San Pelligrino is absurd, I ordered 2, I don't normally look at the price of something, but in this case I should have, $11 for 2 bottles of water is insane.
The happy hour menu had great choices. The chicken tacos as well as the sushi with steak were delicious! The service was great. My friend and I got our food within a short amount of time. We enjoyed our meals and will definitely be returning.
First off we sat in one of those half round booths that had a table that was way too small for a party of 4, we had 3 starter plates and drinks and it could hardly fit on the table, I disliked constantly shuffling the plates and drinks to be able to reach for the food, just wanted to point out, when you have starters that you use your fingers to eat, there should be wet naps to use, instead we had to go to the washroom to clean up, I would expect at least wet napkins at this level.
When the main dish came it was room temperature, I had steak so I didn’t ask for a reheat. Overall the food was great, menu was great, and prices was reasonable.
Not recommended for a family dinner since most of the clientele was mostly young adults and the atmosphere was more catered to that crowd, though I was there with family for my wife’s birthday and it was my first time coming here, I would come again for cocktails.
Everything was fantastic just very loud in restaurant was difficult to hear the person sitting across from me
The place was little bit chilly, especially when the outside door would open...other than that, everything else was very good. Kung Pao chicken had too much sauce and the steak had too much sauce too but the meat was great.
The food took about an hour, it seemed.
The noise was crazy from the 6 women beside us.
Caesars were excellent!
Yes, with caveats. The food and value are awesome, but the atmosphere left something to be desired. Still, my family and I were impressed enough to try another Earls in the future.
Our server Jazz was amazinggggg! She was very helpful and had a really great personality which helped make things better when we felt we were waiting a while for our food/drinks to arrive.
I had a great experience here on my date. I would love to return for more dinners in the future. I would definitely recommend this place. Everyone and everything was amazing!
The restaurant looks amazing in the evening and the menu consists of a tasteful selection of international cuisine. The food was quite good, the portions were large and the service was wonderful . The drinks tasted a little watered down but overall it was a nice kinda place for a date night dinner.
The food was great. The staff was awesome! Definitely going back.
Steak was way overdone and cold. Sent it back and had a burger instead, which was not what I wanted but we had already been there for 2hrs so just ordered something that was quick. Manager made it right by comping my meal, so that was positive
Earls is a family favorite. Anytime we want to celebrate an occasion, it is our number one choice. Service is outstanding and food is delicious. The Manager and my waitress were very patient with my father who is vegetarian and was there for the first time. She took the time to explain the dish and when his drink was not to his liking they fixed it for him. No question asked and without a frown.
Thank you very much to our server Mary and to Manager Rosa for making our night!!
Great space and pretty pleasant food and prices.
Service is pleasant and crisp.
Suitable for meetings in the square one area.
I was impressed they had an entire 'plant based' section of their menu with vegetarian and vegan options. Their crispy-fried tofu is flavourful (but it's the same tofu they place in all their dishes, whether a Mexican taco or an Asian rice bowl). The seating was comfortable but we found it a little too noisy for a Sunday lunch (the music was very loud). When my dad ordered his noodle dish, our server asked him if he wanted tofu as well (it was a vegetable noodle dish) -- she said that he could get it with or without tofu. He said yes, and then when the bill came our server charged an extra 3.00 for the tofu (the menu did NOT feature tofu as an 'add-on' with a surcharge so the server should have made that clear).
The food and service was great - restaurant was a bit noisy but that is pare for the course on a Saturday evening. I would go back.
