East Side Mario’s - Hamilton - Upper James St
This restaurant is not running very well. I had a reservation for noon. Hostess not not ready. Didn’t have the reservation at the front of store. Had to wait. Needed a table for 6. Put us at a table for 8 but didn’t remove the 2 chairs to make it more comfortable for us. The waitress took forever to remove our dirty dishes. The manager was just wondering around. He could have helped. Had children fancy drinks to go. I know it’s not a usual request but the children were getting restless. When we were leaving I noticed that half of these expensive drinks were still in there glasses on the bar. I paid full price for them. This is the second bad experience at this location so I will not be returning. Great place to take children but not for such lousy service
3 adults and a child.
We had a good time, althought the only dish that was hot was our childs pizza and the ceasr salad had barely any dressing, we had to ask for more, the second bowl the dressing was on the side. Weird!
Thanks for reading
Everything except Caesars salad very little dressing. Dressing was scarce and very dry.
Was hoping that the food would have improved since it was renovated. I ordered a chicken club and the bun was stale. The waiter was fantastic.
Everything was fine. It was disappointing not to be able to use my gift card. That is why I chose to go to the restaurant.
Unfortunately all of the computer systems were down in there for my reservation for sex was not accessible so they had no idea we were coming and therefore not prepared so we had to wait to be seated and then it was chaos for the bill at the end
I ordered a vegetarian pizza, I received a pepperoni pizza instead. The waitress had to reorder another pizza with the chef. It was satisfactory.
I hope it was just cause all the servers and staff were new after the refit but the service was the worse thing about the experience. Slow and forgot to bring stuff Repeatedly requests for salad and bread refills were slow in coming. Food once it arrived was tasty though.
