    Very disappointed in my reservation. I thought making a reservation (for 8 people) would make sure we had a table that was in a good location for my daughters 30th birthday and instead we were sat right beside the kitchen, so disappointed. Our table wasn’t even ready when we got there and we had to wait which shouldn’t happen when there is a reservation. The food was great but this night started off on such a sour note, not sure that we would choose East Side for a birthday celebration again. We didn’t get bread right away when asked and my grandsons dessert was completely forgotten about. We spent almost $200 but expected more.

    The food was okay, but the noise level in the restaurant was way too high. It sounded as though they were piping in customer and kids chat and laughter. The servers, however, were very friendly and attentive. It isn't likely we will eat there again.

    Service was extremely slow. Timing of food was terrible. Apps, bread, soup and salad all came out at the same time as the dinners. Once our dinners were served no one ever came back to see if we needed anything. We did need drink refills and napkins and would have appreciated the opportunity to order a second soup or salad. We were there for our daughter's birthday and all the kids got their dessert well before the cake came out for the birthday girl and then the dessert we ordered came out even later, well after all the kids were done their desserts. Server was friendly, food was good. Timing was really bad.

    Typical dining experience except for the a/c dripping on us during our meal which required us relocating. Did realize this location pales in comparison to at least one other ESM restaurant. Thought they’d all be the same but it seems at least one other was much better. Still, this location is generally consistent and makes the family happy when they’re looking for pasta. Not having high expectations makes this restaurant one of our usuals.

    The staff was not the best. Was not checked in on by staff as often. The staff seemed flustered and all over trying to managed the crowd. It’s very loud and noisy not the best place for a relaxing dinner

    Soup and salad are brought in smaller bowls even though it's unlimited I'd rather get the bigger bowls so I don't have to ask for more. Especially when they are busy and waitress isn't around. Didn't have bread ready. Had to wait for long time before first and second loaf arrived. Didn't bring cheese with her so had to wait for her to come back and ask for it. Only 2 crayons left. Had three kids w me.

    Great service, seated fast but table wasn't good. Stuck in a corner on a high table, but when requested a different table was accommodated with no problem. Food was good. It was quite loud with a lot of young children dining with families but overall a good evening.

    Had a dinner and a movie date on Friday night and couldn’t be happier with our restaurant choice. We were feeling for pasta and oh boy did this exceed our expectations! Didn’t get any photos of the food because of how quick we dived into our plates but I highly recommend booking this spot for a casual meal. Great service from the waiters. PS- I am a sucker for fun cocktails, and East Side has super affordable beverage prices!!

    Came in for dinner on NYE and the service from Simone was incredible. She made our dining experience an amazing one and included us in the fun Kids New Years countdown. She was quick, talkative and her customer service skills are next to none.

    There was a party at the table next to us. A group of four stood right in front of our table the entire meal talking..completely in our space. Food was nothing special. Pasta undercooked.

    why do you charge extra for meat sauce are you so cheap to charge a dollar extra and since there is not enough to put on I have to order extra now you charge 2x for extra keep your $3 I'm never eating here again if you charge folks this way there are many other places who serve Italian and they care more for the customer than a franchise

    We were there to celebrate a birthday and expected a vibrant atmosphere but this was over the top annoyingly loud. Our server was excellent - she was efficient, attentive and responsive. The food was just OK with the exception f the kids meals of chicken fingers and fries. The first round of those meals arrived cold and hard as rock. They were returned but the second round was obviously just the first round heated up. Not much was eaten by the kids. Overall, a good place to get together but somewhat disappointing.
