You do not need a reservation to enjoy Easy Tiger, but you are welcome to make one if you wish. Located in Austin, Texas, Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden was founded by James Beard nominee, David Norman. We bake pastries and artisan breads daily. Our beer gardens have over 30 beers on tap, we source our coffee locally (Little City Coffee) and all of our meats are cured locally. We are known for our giant pretzels, we make them by hand every few hours and they sell out almost immediately. You'll also find our breads and pretzels around town, at HEB, Whole Foods and Austin FC's Q2 stadium. Each of our locations is unique, South Lamar boasts one of the best sunsets in the city, with open air views over Austin’s Greenbelt. We also have a shaded outdoor park with a kids zone and a cozy, European-style interior, designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture. Dogs are welcome, parking and WiFi are free.

I had not experienced service this bad in several years. Felt like the staff could not be bothered to serve our party… when we arrived with a reservation and then ordering, and the server was blatantly rude and disrespectful almost the entire time. At the end of the meal she seemed annoyed that I asked for a printed receipt after I paid in their card machine, so she purposely ignored me and went to sit down and chat with a mother customer knowing I was waiting. Food was generally ok, but the Brussel sprouts were amazing!

We enjoyed sitting upstairs but the service was not as good. They brought the charcuterie board with the dinner order. Wanted it as an appetizer. Told the server and he said that they were busy. Drinks and dinner were good. A bit pricey though. Atmosphere upstairs is very nice.

Ambivalent staff. Had reservations, but staff acted like they weren't necessary & we were shuffled around like everyone else. Waitress took forever to come, gave a half-baked apology (said she was busy but the place was far from hopping). Never came back for drink order, after saying she would. Partner's drink came out long after the meal. Came back to check on us when we were done, not part way through. Runner also there only in body. I have no idea what we paid for. I used to like Easy Tiger. Such a lame experience.

maybe it was an off day... never been here and have been in Austin since 2018.. TBH it was not what i expected.. the drink i ordered; lavender lemonade was not refreshing- it was very watered down, ended up getting something else and it was perfect, really yummy. The food was blah.. the ambience was dull, overall it was too mediocre for my liking!

I’ve been to other Easy Tiger locations, but this was my first visit to S. Lamar. It’s a great location to have a restaurant, but wasn’t very good overall. The service was lacking and I was surprised that the food wasn’t very good.

Tuesday was packed and hard to get a server’s attention—especially when a burger was missing. Ordering from a QR code was a bit difficult for our seniors so they were glad they could order through a server (when they could grab their attention).

A lot of items were not there because of trivia night. The bread was rough and hard as it could be, none of the items tasted good, the fries were good but it was way too much fries with every single dish. We had a team get together our first one, I thought it would be super special, it wasnt

Nice place. Servers were very attentive. We would suggest having a coffee maker for when the barista leaves. Dessert without coffee is “meh”. Overall good experience.

While the service staff was not that great, the food was wonderful! The weather was nice enough to sit outside, which helped with the noise level. I think I will return for the great food and hope to get a better waitress next time.

We have my son's 2nd birthday party here and it was great. The staff reserved us a table near the Tiger Den (great play area for kids!!). Super low stress with Easy Tiger having great snacks we could order for the table. The staff was great at handling multiple orders from different people.

Have visited your other location on East 7th and was very disappointed at your South Lamar location. Made a reservation which was unnecessary as it was a ghost town. No one to check in or offer guidance so we sat ourselves. Most menu items were out of stock, service was slow.

We had a reservation on Mother's Day. The check in process was confusing and unwelcoming. We waited 15 minutes beyond our reservation to be seated outside, even though tables were available. Drinks were not readily available in the outdoor space waiting area. Non-alcoholic drinks were not available at all.

Great atmosphere and staff are so nice! Very hospitable, even on a busy Mother’s Day. Only negative was the kitchen forgot one of our meals so one person sat for 15-20 minutes while everyone else ate. I like that this location has reservations. The Avocado Toast was pretty and delish!
