Located conveniently in the center of Downtown Vancouver between Granville Entertainment District and Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center, you can enjoy Japanese fusion tapas, beer and more on our spacious patio under a starlit Vancouver sky.

    We had a great meal with friends. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly, we had a lovely conversation with our server. We talked about the area of Japan that was her hometown and we may visit that area on our next trip to Japan. We highly recommend dining at Haraheri for a special occasion. The menu has upscale izakaya items, even several vegetarian items. One favourite dish was the beef tongue.

    Food was very good. We wanted unique and got it. Service was a little slow but otherwise very good. There are lots of stairs needed to access this restaurant. We could not find an elevator.

    Great for a special night out. Took an out of town guest here and the food was excellent. Guest had very particular dietary preferences and we were able to find plenty to choose from between that and my crustacean allergy. Definitely will be going back to try one of the tasting platters rather than go a la carte next time.

    Sakura was a welcoming host and provided top notch service! Food was excellent, high quality, and the special menu allowed us to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

    I had the chicken karaage, tuna tartare, and duck breast dishes. Chicken karaage was juicy and yummy. Yuzu(?) mayo paired well. Pieces were slightly on the smaller side. I liked the crispy chicken skin. Duck breast was okay—the sauce and mayo overshadowed the flavour of the duck. Skin sear wasn't crispy. Tuna tartare was really hard to eat and stomach. The tuna wasn't fresh, was like eating complete mush. It ruined my evening. The saving grace was that the food wasn't too expensive. Cheaper than a lot of places in comparison.

    We shared several dishes and all were incredibly delicious and so were the drinks 😊. What surprised us was the low prices for such fresh, delicious dishes. Highly recommend!

    Food was unexpectedly disappointing, not appetizing at all. We both ordered the Royal Bento box which was highly recommended from the reviews posted! However it turned out to be the worst bento box I have ever seen & overpriced for the quality. There were way too many fried food items, excessive use of mayo, food didn’t look fresh, grilled fish was fishy….. overall unacceptable quality. Only thing positive & deserving any stars was the pleasant servers !

    Wonderfully accommodating and kind. My table drank a lot and they kept coming around to make sure we're hydrated. Great staff. Split checks super well.

    Fantastic food. Very pleasant staff, clean and enjoyable environment. The only thing that was unpleasant was that we were told we had the table for 30 min, and the last item (out of four fairly simple ones we ordered) arrived 45 minutes later (after we reminded them it was missing). Will go back for sure. The food was delicious!

    Had the sashimi salad, Brussel sprouts, and Cajun sushi. They were all delicious. Definitely recommend the Tokyo Mojito too.. so good.

    Booked for 2 pm . Our fault for arriving late at 215 pm on a Thursday afternoon and was told that kitchen closed at 230pm and we have to be finished eating by 3pm. Not sure if reservations for 200pm, 215 pm are fair on the customers. Otherwise food and drinks were great and good value for money. Just felt rushed .
