Attended a wine tasting dinner with about 22 people. Food and service was very good and the wine pairing was very well matched to the food. The chef introduced each course and the wine representative introduced each wine. Made the experience very pleasant and meaningful. Nice evening.

Great service - waiter was great. Food was tasty. Ambiance felt like a Cheesecake Factory with views of the freeway on-ramp and a skyline chili 😂. I promise I’m not a snob. I think they’re pricing like an upscale steakhouse but probably should be half or 3/4 given the overall location/setup. Hope that helps.

Absolutely beautiful place with impeccable service and an upscale ambiance. My family loves coming here, but they do seem to struggle cooking a steak properly to order. Over a half dozen visits and no matter how I order a steak or which cut, it comes out very rare. I even tried to overcompensate this last time and went "medium" and still I got a steak with a cold, raw center. The steaks are also very tough and stringy. Certainly not what I expect from a place that hangs its hat on hand selected and aged prime beef. If it was an isolated incident I wouldn't think much of it, but it's been every time.

Went here for their Happy Hour. Everything is $8, can’t beat it anywhere. Truly outstanding cocktails. The food is very good, but there are only four options and they never change. A change up in the food menu would be welcome. However, the eight dollar store will keep us coming back.

My wife and I chose to eat here because she was given a gift card for her birthday. The service was exceptional !!! Our waiter, Donnie was friendly, gave us great recommendations, and was attentive without being intrusive. We started with crab cakes, small but very tasty. My wife had the Caesar salad, crisp and flavorful, I had the King Crab and corn bisque, which was excellent. My wife had the Chefs special, New Orleans mix grill, which she enjoyed, but could not finish. I had the 16oz NY Strip, and was a bit disappointed. The meat was not well trimmed, or seasoned. A restaurant with “Prime Aged Beef “ in their title, I expected better.

We had reservations at 7:15 & we were there till 9:45 before we had paid & left and we didn’t even order appetizers or dessert . Our server was so inattentive, almost never around to check on us & just the worst service we’ve ever experienced! We really got the short straw with him! It seemed every other server was way more attentive to their table than ours! Had to ask 4 times to even get bread, other table’s received it automatically! When my husband’s steak was under cooked, they had to take it back 2 times & the manager, acted as if it was our fault asking, well what do you want it to look like?? Our bill was incorrect, that took 15 minutes to fix, then another 20 minutes for him to cash us out! Can’t say we will ever be back!!

The service was fine. The staff took the time to sign an anniversary card for my wife and me. Our server (Kirk) was attentive enough without being at the table too often, but he did have a hard time understanding my wife's capsaicin/red pepper allergy. We asked if the potstickers had anything she would have to worry about and he said unquestioningly NO. Turns out there was crushed red pepper in the sauce and my wife was not able to enjoy them (although they were very good). Then he did not realize that they were delivered (and eaten) and had a 2nd order sent to our table (again...delicious). They also covered the bread for the table in what appeared to be paprika...which of course contains capsaicin, so my wife was not able to enjoy that either. My wife ordered the Filet Del Mar (medium) and I think they brought her Steak Tartare. I mean this cow was still kicking. I ordered the 18oz, bone-in bison (medium), and while it was not as undercooked as my wifes, it was seriously undercooked. The macaroni with lobster was okay...nothing special. There are better steakhouses if you're looking to drop this kind of cash (dinner/drinks for 2 including tip $300+).

We have been to Eddie Merlot’s several times and always had a good experience except for this time. Our poor waiter was the only one in the bar area which was full - our reservation was at 6:30 and we didn’t get out of there till almost 9:00 - food took forever, order was wrong but was afraid to send it back - overcharged on check which took FOREVER to correct and the managers just made excuses. I hope this isn’t what Eddie Merlot’s has come to!!!!

Over 2 hours before our main course was ever served, food is generally okay, nothing over the top for the price. 2 of our guest did leave feeling ill after eating chicken however, having speculations that it was undercooked and didn’t finish their plates. A great meal, the steak was grilled to perfection. A wonderful meal paired with some amazing red wine. I sat at the bar with Jess and Michael as my bartenders. They are great with five star service. My guest had the Berry White cocktail which she loves and highly recommends. She had a great filet and she definitely liked the Mexican street corn side. I had the swordfish summer special. It was okay, but lacked something. I would suggest a lot of butter. The baked potato with everything was disappointing. A twice baked potato would be a better offering. Burnt orange Manhattan is very good. Wine pour was a tad light. Service was good.

This was our first time and we were amazed at the service and quality of the food. Our server Donnie was great in that he helped go over the menu with us and everything
