Fantastic food, absolutely THE BEST Crab Cakes of anyplace around! Really enjoy all the food, very well prepared and seasoned. Desserts are fantastic, especially the flaming bananas foster, and best creme brulee we've tasted too! Topping it off Service has always been outstanding and very attentive. This is our Go-To restaurant for special occasions now.

Amazing experience! Food was fantastic and our waiter, Zach, was kind and sweet! It was our first time dining there, and he was very helpful in walking us through the menu. The Crab Cake was delicious, and I would definitely recommend it! Overall 10/10 experience!

I have been here many of times. But this is probably about the worst experience I've ever had drinks were OK, but the food was subpar. The Wagyu steak was nothing special. Maybe next time will see

Everything was great except the volume of the live music. We were seated in the center of dining area. The piano was around the corner in the bar area. We complained about the volume at our table. I can only imagine what it was like closer to the source.

Eddie V's promotes itself as a fine dining experience, and with few exceptions is among the best that KC offers. Atmosphere is up-scale, the staff is exemplary and the seafood fresh and impeccably prepared. Diners are willing to pay the higher price for a classy dining experience to celebrate special occasions. Then why did we have a dude wearing a baseball cap at the table next to us, and a second dude wearing a straw sharecropper hat at another table near us? No kidding! Your dress code says no hats. Enforce the dress code, or do away with it altogether, add big screen TVs and become just another sports bar in town. Disappointing! On a more positive note, our halibut special and branzino entrees were spectacular, as was Eddie V's famed wait staff.

Had a wonderful experience for our 19th anniversary. The whole staff went above and beyond to take care of my wife and I. When we were seated there was a happy anniversary card and rose petals on the table.The food was all very delicious and the desserts were amazing. I usually don't have very good luck with restaurant desserts but both the banana foster cake and the creme Brule were fantastic. We were just going to order one but they brought us a complimentary bananas foster cake and even wrote happy anniversary in chocolate on the plate. My favorite dishes other then the desserts were the lamb chops, blue point oysters, and the crab fried rice

Everything was amazing. The crab cake app was the best we have ever had. All of our entrees were perfect. The banana foster was delectable. Best of all was the attentive service and professional staff. Cody was wonderful.

Our server was superb! Unfortunately, the entrees were lacking. 3 of the 4 had to be returned to the kitchen. 3 of us had fish, & all 3 were bland. The one person who had steak, after having to be re-cooked, was very good. The appetizers were excellent, as was the wine. Overall, a disappointing experience. Not sure we will return.

Eddie V's exceeded our expectations greatly for our anniversary dinner. We were treated like valued guests, from the host's greeting to paying the check at the end. Dustin's service was perfectly engaging. We wanted a special occasion experience and Eddie V's provided exactly that. We both ordered seafood. The halibut (a special not on the menu) was prepared perfectly. The parmesan sole was delicious. We have to mention the BLT wedge salad as it was one of the best we've ever had. The only side we ordered was the crab fried rice which was as tasty as it sounds. Plenty of crab meat mixed in with traditional fried rice. We plan on returning for our next special occasion, or perhaps earlier if we don't want to wait that long.

Went for anniversary dinner…the staff was great! The hostess greeted us and wished us a “happy anniversary” and we were led to a table with an anniversary card and some rose petals. Throughout the night, the staff continued to wish us a “happy anniversary” to include having it written on my dessert plate. The food is pricey but likely the best seafood you’ll find in the Kansas City. The restaurant was a little noisy but was also a Friday night. The restaurant’s ambiance and the thoughtfulness of the staff truly made the dinner memorable.

Eddie V's is a present that I give my wife at least once a year. She is in love with great seafood and after moving from Boston to KC it is one of the few local seafood restaurants that lives up to high end costal seafood standards. Expensive but worth the occasional splurge.

Service great sides were way to salty and my scallops still had foot attached and way small and chewy. My wife’s lobster was really good. Dessert was good. Would go again but would not have scallops! Way not worth it
