We came to celebrate my MIL’s 65th birthday. Marion provided the best service & made her feel very special! They even brought our champagne & a special dessert! Best meal I’ve had in a long time.

I sat in the bar area for happy hour and everyone was acknowledged but me for five minutes even when I said I like to place an order. Not happy.

No matter how many people they replace they can never and I mean never get the food out on a timely basis. In some occasions the food itself is not up to the normal standards.

This was one of the most magical dinning experiences I have had in a while. Our server Eric was very attentive but not overbearing. I ate the 10oz filet and it beat some of the well know upper end steak houses in the KC area. My friend got the Sea Bass and it was just perfect as well. Flaky, indulgent, and packed of flavor. I loved the idea of sharing the sides as well. The truffle mac and cheese was the best mac and cheese I’ve ever had Please don’t ever change the recipe. We were celebrating a birthday, and needless to say this was a birthday we will never forget.

Absolutely the best each and every time. The tower made a huge impression on our guests as the appetizer. The steaks are the best in Kansas City. Shane was amazing and added to the holiday spirit. Definitely all around first class choice.

We had eaten at EV’s in another city so I was confident that we would enjoy the local restaurant. I think our waiter had too many tables. At times we went 45 minutes with no contact we spent more time visiting with our friends. He mixed up our check with our friends check. After 3 hours in the restaurant, I didn’t say anything but I’m pretty sure I paid for her cocktails. No biggie. They are good friends. The swordfish I ordered was oily. Not appealing. I should’ve ordered steak. 2-1/2 Benjamins…. I was disappointed.

Food overall was good. There were six of us so it was about 50/50. Steak had too much char that made it tough but salads and crab cakes and crab fried rice were delicious. Of two orders of scallops, one was perfect and one was under cooked same with the sea bass. They were very busy so drink orders took forever, almost 30 minutes to get our first drink order, at one time we decided it would just be quicker to go to the bar, which literally took 2 minutes. Our waiter was super sweet, I just think he was overwhelmed. One of our friends hand a full glass of rose spilled down his back. We were all surprised that nothing was done about it and nothing not even the new glass of wine was comped. It was our first time to go for all of us. I’ll try it again but can’t say for the cost and the time it took to get drinks and food that I’ll be rushing back anytime soon.

From the moment we walked into Eddie V‘s, our evening was spectacular! Our hostess was so lovely, and all of the servers were great. Our primary server was a young man named Kae and he was wonderful! Very attentive and informative. that environment was wonderful, and our food was amazing!

Outstanding service--recognized our anniversary in many ways. Everything we ordered was exceptional, especially the yellowtail sushi app. We are big sushi fans and had never experienced such a creative or delicious presentation. Butter cake flambe dessert was great but was too much for one person--wish we had shared. We marked down in ambience because of the noise level. The room is lively by itself and when you add the music combo, conversation was very difficult, even for two guests.

Wonderful as always. We go a few times a year and always celebrate our anniversary here. This was our 4th one celebrated with you. Our waiter was Bryil and he was great. Well versed with the drinks and menu and just very nice and welcoming. We’ll see you next time.

Service was great but had to send my steak back to be cooked more. After waiting 15 minutes it came back all dry. We were also seated by a table that was extremely loud. Obviously out of the restaurants control but it was hard to hear my husband across the table because of the noise.

We ordered as we went, sharing an appetizer, then another, then a dinner. I had a dirty martini which was excellent. We always dine at a high top in the bar, so that we can enjoy the live music, which was great!
