Our kitchen's formula is product+technique+creativity2. The results are new interpretations of everyday food, expertly engineered into modern cuisine.

edison: food+drink lab fills the gap in the dining scene for the neighborhood joint that serves polished, modern world-class food with an everyday familiarity and comfort. A daily, inventive menu that traverses the chasm between haute cuisine and comfort food, each dish will be a bit familiar, but at once modern.

We currently offer reservations in both the main dining room as well as open air dining in our courtyard. The full dinner menus are also available at our bar, which we keep available to walk-in guests.

We look forward to seeing you!

    First time here in about 10 years. Different chef. Most bites were incredibly tasty. Salad and some food portions were small, others were generous. We often split meals and the grouper and chicken were shareable, the halibut was smaller. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable but service was slow. Each wave of cocktails and food took forever to arrive and he seemed to be waiting on the entire half of the restaurant. High prices relative to the streetfront venue with little ambiance. Prices would suggest butcher paper or tablecloths, nicer furnishings. It’s ambiance was lacking and basic.

    This was the best food I think I’ve ever had. My dad, the pickiest man on earth, who hasn’t eaten a full meal since he got sick, ate EVERYTHING that was set in front of him. Thank you to the staff they were amazing, enthusiastic about the food and quality, and very helpful and knowledgeable about their food and chef. I will definitely come back to Tampa to eat here. Thank you to Allegra our waitress, Sara the hostess, and Brady the bartender. And a huge thank you to the Chef. The food was delightful and exciting, refreshing and unexpected. I loved everything about it!

    The hospitality at Addison is top level. The food is excellent. You’ll never get anything better than the potato crusted oysters. They are outstanding. This was our 27th wedding anniversary and we enjoyed the complementary toast of champagne. Thank you Edison for a great experience.

    Always a wonderful experience! We typically bring guests visiting from out-of-state, and the potato-crusted oysters, carrot salad, and duck breast were big hits!

    The food was extremely salty. Bone marrow dish was really good though, everything pretty much ran out and the substitutions weren't great. I probably won't be coming back but try it if you havent been. $500 bill (4apps, 3 entrees) seemed steep for the experience. Maybe would've been worth it if it was around the 200-300 mark. Drinks weren't that great aside from the expresso martini. The mocktail ordered was sour so that was disappointing. The service however, was really nice and accommodating.

    The food was fantastic! My date and I had planned to sample three dishes but we ended up with six! Everything was so delicious we couldn't stop! A truly amazing culinary experience! Thanks!

    Had an overall good experience once we good started. A little slow to start when we got there but improved once our server got to us. First people in the restaurant and most tables got drinks before we did (that came after us). Otherwise as expected food and cocktails were exceptional and had to end with the butter cake. So good.

    It had been quite a while since we had dinner at Edison and it was just as great as I remembered. The food was outstanding and original - the seared tuna is delicious, halibut, duck, and beef were all also enjoyed.
